I thought I'd give Mays & Son another shot since they did such a great job last time with my shed. A short while later, the gazebo is done. Dog poop was getting stuck to small landscaping rocks. My son got a splinter on the landscaping wood and our dogs had just ruined all plants. We sought help to remove the weeds, a small peach tree and the landscaping, small rocks and wood, and also plants by our driveway and weeding our front and everything was done to more than our satisfaction. Not only did he order the parts for me at a deep discount, but instead of just knocking the job out himself, he patiently walked me through the entire process step by step. He showed me exactly how to do it so I could handle it myself should the need ever come up in the future. What really stood out, though, was what a genuinely kind and sincere person he is. From my brief interaction with him, he seems to be a true family man. He lit up talking about his kids and how important it is to him to put them through good schools and give them the best opportunity in life he can. He shared how truly blessed he feels being able to help others through his landscaping business, and how that allows him to take care of his family in return. The ask was to do the weeding, trimming, and cleaning up. He trimmed 2 out of 5 trees, weeding was not done properly, and lastly he left the entire backyard a mess. He didn't gather the trimmed cutting and left the sticks everywhere. We also have some stones decor on the side and the stones were scattered all over. While he was working I had to step out to pick up my kids and when I got back this guy had left this mess for me to clean.
