I had Anderson tree come out to my home for a quote of a tree removal. They came out the same day, looked at the tree, then left. Never follow up with me with a quote or said they were unable to accommodate me. I guess they didn't want my business. read more

We ended up going with a different company because the quote from Anderson was much higher then everyone elses. Our limited interaction was proffesional so I'll rate them as good. read more

Ken Anderson and his crew did a beautiful job trimming our trees! They were so skilled and professional. The trees were done aesthetically and they went the extra mile in clean up...even old leaves that were on the ground. We highly recommend Andersons Tree Service. read more

Ken and Harmony are outstanding to work with. They are very responsive, knowledgeable, professional and helpful. My parents have been customers for quite some time and are always very satisfied. Ken did an amazing job trimming our trees at a couple of our our rental properties. He is very kind, knowledgable and did great work for us along with giving us a great price on the work He did. Harmony was wonderful in explaining the process and scheduling us. Thanks Andrrson Tree Service!!! read more

We recently had a birch tree removed at our house in Merced by Anderson Tree Service. I would give them the best rating possible. Not only did they perform the work quickly and expertly -- at a very reasonable cost -- the owner gave me a tour of both our front and back yard trees, assessed their needs and how I could care for them myself to keep them in great shape! I rarely meet people who truly love what they do and are excited about it -- Mr. Anderson LOVES trees and wants to help all of us keep them all healthy and happy. I highly recommend this company. You will not regret working with them. Also, they make a free appointment to assess your tree first and give you a quote for the work. You need to call them back if you want to schedule it, and they charge exactly what the quote says, so it's up to you if you choose to work with them. Absolutely no pressure, so I would definitely recommend to everyone needing work done to have them out for an estimate. I would give them 6 stars if I could. Thank you, Anderson! read more

This review is overdue, the tree crew came right around Christmas to trim A LOT out of a gigantic tree in our alley. They did a great job, and Ken even blew off all the leaves on the lawns- for every house on our block! The neighbors were coming out looking very excited. It was like a Christmas miracle, lol. This was the second time they've done work at our house, and we will definitely call them in the future. Thanks! read more

If only I could rate Anderson's Tree Service 10 stars. Never did business in the Central Valley with the level of professionalism this crew of 4 including owner delivered and delighted their price was the best. Plus these guys are state licensed and fully insured. Called for an estimate and the owner kept appointment with immediate bid written on his business card. Incredulous, stated his chipper could eat entire trunk. Booked service appointment for a Saturday and no less than 4 vehicles and machines on scene. With owner's permission I took several photos and videos. Like a kid I watched how the chipper ate log after log. Took a while to maneuver stump grinder through narrow sidewalk to the backyard tree but once safely positioned the stump grinder eliminated taproot within several minutes. I showed up at 08:00 to my rental property and entire job done by 08:30. Paid the owner cash and everyone a happy camper. Will hire again for other trees at my other rentals. Restores my faith there's good people in Merced, CA. God Bless America. Photo shown is for second time I hired in Merced. read more

Great experience with them. Ken is truly a great guy. I had 3 trees removed from my property. They came promptly and communicated well on what they were doing to get the tree's cut. They finished all 3 trees in a few hours, including cleanup and disposal of the tree. Ken has this awesome robotic tree stump grinder that he used afterward. read more

Can't believe how great they were!! Ken and the crew were fantastic!! Professional and caring about our property!! Three palm trees gone thank you soooooo much!! read more

Anderson Tree Service cut down three hideous palm trees in our back yard. I have been impressed with their service since my initial contact with them. Ken came out and gave us a quote and put us at ease. I was a little stressed out about how overgrown and tall the trees were, but he had a "no problem at all" attitude. He gave us a very fair and reasonable price. When it came down to getting the job done, their efficiency and professionalism was exceptional. They were done within 3 hours and made the job look easy. It is really nice to find a local company that has such great customer service and is excellent at what they do. I will use Anderson Tree Service for all my future tree needs and I can 100% recommend them to anyone who is in need of tree maintenance or tree services. read more

Anderson Tree Service - Tree Services Near Me

They left a horrible mess in my yard when trimming a tree in the adjacent yard. They also damaged the neighboring fence and refused to fix it. Apparently the worker was having a bad day because he was really nasty and sent his worker over without a mask. Maybe he didn't get the memo about the PANDEMIC. Would never use this service. Thanks for showing me who you are. In response to your unprofessional message posted on my review: Your response as a business owner is considered bullying. You left out a few details as well. You very rudely showed up and dumped tons of branches and debris in my back yard. A request was sent to arrange the work before hand as to not injure by dog in the back yard. Instead, the work was scheduled without mutual consent. (That is sweet?) When I brought this to your attention you were rude and condescending and made several inappropriate comments. At one point the chain saw hit the new fence and damaged it. Pictures of all were sent to your business.Numerous attempts were made to get the repair performed as well as clean up the mess. I am still finding branches in the back yard from the mess your company created. Unannounced during a Pandemic you sent an unidentified person (wearing no company information) who was not wearing a mask to my front door and did not leave a 6 FT distance. You may believe that you can violate the law by walking around and contributing to a pandemic but I care about other people and choose to wear a mask. As far as bringing Christianity into the Yelp review-is this how Christians act? "Just a hard working Christian" It is interesting how you are spending so much time attempting to remove honest reviews of your business and to censure reviews of your business. I wish you would have spent this much time responding to my email and fixed the issue instead of posting more dishonest information on Yelp. You don't know me and I don't know you. But your actions speak volumes. So no need to make it personal with the juvenile comments. As a business owner man-up and stop verbally attacking others that you know nothing about. P.S. My gardener is not my brother. LOL! Hysterical. read more

Promptly responded to call for quote. Had multiple trees needing trimming front and back of home and a stump for removal. Very competitive pricing. Arrived about 10 minutes early day job. Nice. Polite. Efficient. Completely cleaned up after themselves when finished. Highly recommended. read more

in late August 2024, Ken Anderson came to my door and asked about trimming a tree in my yard at the property line for a neighbor. in the process, he said that he would take down the whole tree for free and remove a tree limb on a second tree at no cost if I agreed to let him remove the tree. I asked for a bid on a dead tree, limb of a European birch in my backyard, he gave me an oral bid, and I accepted it. All work was to be done on September 6 the crew showed up an hour late and at the end of their workday 1 PM. They said they did not have time to remove my dead tree and that they would come back on Monday or Harmony in the office would call back and schedule a date to remove the tree. I called the business line the next week because I hadn't heard anything and left a message. Harmony left a message saying that she would get back to me in 24 hours about the status of the work order, well it's been three weeks now I left a second message and still no answer. Mr. Anderson manipulated me to remove a healthy tree from my property because his access would've been difficult to limb the tree up from the neighbors property. This is a very poor business to not follow through on your commitments.I'm retired firefighter and trained to arborist myself so I know what I'm talking about. Disappointed, senior citizen of Merced. read more

This man is amazing. It took him awhile to get my house done because he is so busy. His prices were incredible, he did a small amount of extra work for free and they did such an excellent job for what I needed them for. They were quick, professional and just wonderful. His office people were always pleasant and notified me immediately that he would be late due to an emergency. I highly recommend this company. read more

Super friendly and professional service, excellent communication. Ken and his team really went above and beyond - unbelievable transformation on our olive trees and yard! The crew also removed several trees and shrubs, including 2 large trees along our fence line, grinding all the stumps which was great. Truly impeccable work - and I appreciate that Ken took the time to tell me about the other trees on our property and things we could do to make them healthier. They did a ton of work - everything was cleaned up beautifully and they went out of their way to do extras (thank you!!). I would give 10 stars if that was an option. Absolutely excellent service and will be a repeat customer. read more

My wife arranged to have two large trees trimmed and she had to leave for SoCal to deal with family issues. I was on contractor duty and met Ken and his crew at my home today. Ken noted that one other tree needed service in the next year or two, gave me a fair price and I authorized that in addition to what my wife had agreed to. I was in my living room and watched Ken pruning a small tree in our front yard that was not even part of the servicing. When I approached him, he was just doing it while his crew did the major work. I asked him if he loved trees and he denied it, saying it was just a job. But watching this guy ... he loves trees ... and he loves his job. He also cleaned my rain gutters. Why? Because they were full! These guys are pros. We have lots of trees on our one acre plot and they will be our go to company going forward. read more

We had a great experience with Anderson Tree Service. Harmony was quick to return phone calls and provide the information requested. Ken was prompt and professional. He came out and gave us a fair quote on the spot. He really knows trees! I wish I would have talked to him before I planted the trees that I ultimately had to have him remove! He & his crew took 3 large palms out of my small back yard. All in a few hours time with minimal mess on a windy day. Even trimmed up my Japanese maples as an add on request I would definitely call him in the future to do any tree trimming that we needed done. read more

Anderson is a pleasure to work with! I've had them maintain trees on my property for the last 3 years. Very reasonable and easy to work with, too. I've referred Anderson to several of my friends and family! Someone you can trust! read more

Once Anderson Tree Service finally showed up in mid-February they seem to have done reasonably good work, but didn't have all of their tools. They promised to return soon to remove two small stumps that were part of the contracted job. I have followed up several times and it is always promised that they will be out soon - which, to date, has not happened. It's now over two months later and we're still waiting on a professional service to finish the job. If the stump grinder is not available - and how can a tree service work without a stump removal system - then maybe a shovel, pick axe, and axe might work. read more

From the initial call and quote to the completion of the service, I was impressed. I called and recieved the initial quote and was grateful how patient Ken was explaining the different types of trees and how to prune/care for them. He really knows his trees and how to best take care of them. We have a lot of trees, that were neglected by the previous owner, so it was a HUGE job. They were able to squeeze us in due to a cancellation in their schedule. The team showed up and got to work- it was amazing to see, you can tell they trust and respect one another and work amazingly as a team. It is always great seeing the owner out there working side by side their crew and putting in the sweat equity. All of the team was polite and respectful and I felt very comfortable with them in our yard. My kids loved watching the crew and equipment. They worked through the terrible weather and left our yard cleaner than it started. They were willing to set aside branches we wanted to keep for firewood and kids playing and even added on an extra few trees last minute. Truly the best contractor experience I have had in a long time. I highly recommend Ken and his team and believe you will get above and beyond what you pay for. read more

They removed 2 redwoods out of my front yard. Best price around. My husband and I got quote after quote and Anderson tree service was the best price option. Ken and his crew did an amazing job. They did a great job! All of the work (tree pruning and stump removal) we discussed was completed quickly and skillfully. The team was professional and cleaned up when they were done. The owner works alongside his employees and I respect that. He even hung my kids' new swing and cleaned out our gutter while he was trimming a tree in the front! I won't have anyone else complete tree work on my property. read more
