I usually do not take the the time to write reviews but in the case of Anderson's Tree Service it was well warranted ... What can I say, Prompt - Courteous - Professional I had a number of tree issues with my property and I kind of let things get out of hand mainly because of the vast array of large and over grown trees. Mr. Anderson put me at ease and was very patient and helpful it was a big project and he and his crew made short work of it to be sure. As far as the price was concerned I was a little taken back on his original estimate which I might add was followed to a T and turned out to be a little less when the job was completed I called a couple other local places and Anderson's was not the cheapest but was right in there ... I do not always go with the cheapest estimate I base my decision on how the individual handles them selves when they come out and if they're on time, etc. and I was totally satisfied when the work was completed. read more

We had a very large limb break from a healthy Chinese Pistache tree and fall across our spa and swimming pool on July 4th. Two of my grandkids had been in the spa less than 24 hours before! Factor in the tragic reality that my cousin had just been killed by a tree he was removing 4 days before (different property) when it fell and hit him in the head. I was horrified! Anderson's came out same day in response to a dangerous situation and removed our limb as well as another large limb that was dangling. I am so appreciative as their normal tree service/pruning schedule can be booked out at least two months. The work was quick and clean up was perfect. I called Anderson to get a quote on tree removal and pruning. Ken came out and gave me an estimate and then talked to me about some options we could consider after the work was completed. I then called them back to schedule an appointment and they came as scheduled and did a great job completing the work as scheduled. I was given instructions on how to manage the pruning in the future on my own or told to call them after a certain amount of time and they would come do the pruning if I preferred. I was given clear instructions on how to now manage the removal site for the tree including ultimately planting the grass to cover the area since we are opting not to replace the tree. Ken is a very professional and friendly person: a good family man. I would hire him again in the future and will recommend him to friends as well. read more

I had a very unstable HUGE and TALL back yard tree that was actually hanging debrie into neighbors yards. It was actually very dangerous and because there has been so much need for tree removal in our county due to bad weather....we felt very fortunate to hire Anderson Tree Service. They were fast, clean, courteous, and did a fabulous job with a very fair price. We have had other tree trimmers so we can compare, and we would use them again in a flash. I just had one of my trees trimmed as well as having a tree removed and Anderson Tree Removal did it quickly this morning. The tree that was trimmed was topped very nicely, you could see that they new what they were doing. The tree that was removed was also done in a quick an timely manner and everything back there was cleaned up as well. They not only did the trimming an removal but also cleaned and racked up the leaves and small branches on my lawn. When they got done my front lawn looked like I had a gardener do it. I will not need my tree trimmed again for a lone while but when I do I will have Anderson do it again. read more

I have used Anderson's Tree Service for well over 10 years. They have always done their job well and more importantly left our yard in great shape. Some tree services will take care of the trees but destroy the yard in the process, not Anderson's Tree Service. They have always been fair, sometime what appeared to be overly fair, on their pricing. Even more than that, it is great to see a businessperson who has started their business from scratch and grown it to be a respectable and professional operation. i am glad i choose this tree service, they were courteous and prompt and brought the right equipment. After the removal of my huge trees they cleaned up and my yard looked great. I seen the tree service my neighbor used to trim his tree in the backyard but this person did not have a license and didn't know what he was doing because the branch fell on my roof and shook the whole house. When i seen this i told myself that i would rather use a professional tree company then a company that has no experience and can cause some real damage. These folks are AMAZING! They are extremely professional and efficient. You need to get on the schedule early, but it's worth planning ahead and waiting your turn. They know trees, they clean-up and they follow-through. We needed them to come back and grind down some stumps because they weren't able to do that when they did the cutting (due to no fault of their own)m and sure enough, they were able to squeeze us in at a very busy time. My parents had a 40 year old Maple tree that had taken over their front yard, aside from the size of the tree it also had some large branches that went half way over their roof(causing major concern). I can't say enough good things about Anderson Tree Service. We had to wait a bit because they are in high demand...but now I understand why. We just did a complete remodel on our pool and we had 6 tall Redwoods next to our pool. I was so afraid there could be damage done during the removing of the trees. As Manager of Merced Estates MHP, we were up against some bad trees 8-10 years ago. Anderson did all the work for us at a reasonable price, no problems and the Owner and crew were fantastic. I disagree with the low star rating on Anderson's Tree Servie. The two low star ratings do not seem legitimate, the reviews sound more personal then it is about the service. I asked Ken to grind 8 stumps for me. I live in Mariposa and it was out of his way. He didn't have any other jobs in the area but he came by on his way to visit family. Ken was also able to get to a couple of other stumps that I didn't think he would be able access and took care of those as well. He was here and gone in no time. I hired Anderson tree service to take down a 80' redwood in my backyard. He was super friendly, gave us a great price and showed up the day he said he would.
