I had George "Trim" a couple trees in my yard among other things. When he came to give me the estimate, he told me that he has been cutting trees for over 30 years and was near retirement. I couldn't tell. George has a true passion for his work. He is an arborist by trade and knows exactly what to cut and, more importantly, what not to cut in order to keep the tree healthy. Also, he is licensed and insured (this criteria was mandatory for me) which put my mind at ease. His quote was very competitive. For the quality of work and piece of mind he provided, my money was well spent. George works with his 30 year old son, who has about 10 years in the tree business and takes after his father. When he arrived to cut my trees, he had a 4 man crew and all of them were decked out in safety gear (a huge plus). I stood outside and watched them work for a while. Instead of just letting branches fall, they tied ropes to them and softly guided them to the ground so as not to damage my fence or any plants nearby. George recommenced that I cut down two trees that didn't serve a purpose in the context of the yard and even ground the stumps out for me before he left. You can't tell they were ever there. When they were done working, George and his crew left my yard cleaner than when they arrived. I wont hesitate to call them again the next time I need my trees cut. read more

I recently used George's tree service to remove 4 large trees from my yard as well as 5 or so small trees. After removing the unwanted trees he ground out the stumps and left the area looking like a park. The best part about the service is that they called back and showed up when they said they would. I called some of the other services first and they either never called back or never showed up to the job bid. The job was done on time and on budget. I had a great experience using George's Tree Service. It took a few days to get in touch but he gave me an accurate quote with a full description of the work. He came with his crew on the day we had scheduled and did a professional job removing two trees and digging out their stumps. I had two trees that were planted too close to our house but had grown so large that we couldn't see the damage they had caused to our roof and siding. George cleaned the gutters and gave me an update on the loose shingles on the roof, and left our yard neat and clean. I called George's on a Monday afternoon and left a message about chipping a large mulberry I cut down. I got a call back the next day and described what I needed. George and his crew were at my house the next afternoon and did a great job clearing and chipping all the brush I had. I added some work while they were their expecting to be told they would have to come back another day. Without hesitation they completed the work and got my yard looking better than ever.
