I signed up for the 5:30AM HIIT Bootcamp sessions, twice a week, 45 minutes long. This is the only time my new baby is asleep and I could get out of the house for Me time. Studio 30 has classes of different types, lengths, times and days of the week so there really are no excuses to sign up! They even have a playroom to bring kids along while parents/caregivers get some fitness in. So cool to see kids cheering on their parents while they work out. I started as a complete beginner, 8 months postpartum. The class is intense, but Cathy makes sure that you are moving at your level. I always felt it was most important to SHOW UP AND DO YOU BEST, to make the most of your class time. Participants are of all ages, shapes, and levels and I always felt comfortable to ask how to properly do something or help would be offered. Each time I arrived on time, but they didn't have my reservation. One of those times I was just one minute late, but the other two times I was exactly on time--and there's supposed to be a 5-minute grace period. The only solution they offered was to remove someone else from the class, which I wasn't comfortable with, so I had to go back home. The final straw was this morning. I booked a class, showed up, and once again my name wasn't on the list. Apparently, the app canceled my booking instead of confirming it. According to the front desk, the system showed I booked at 4:00 AM (when I was asleep) and canceled at 7:15 AM. Completely unbelievable. I tried, I really tried, but due to these repeated issues and the unreliable system, I decided to cancel my subscription.

When I walked out of my car it was still 4:34 so I thought I had made the cut. I understand the 5 minute policy is to protect people and to keep the classes running smoothly, but if people arrive within that minute (cars don't have the seconds displayed), they should be allowed to join. This is very disappointing. I was very much looking forward to this class, had a crappy day and this was the me time that was going to make it all better and I was denied of approximately 20 seconds.
