I've been a member at this Chuze Fitness location since they first opened in Rancho Cucamonga, and…read moreoverall I really do like the gym. That's also why some of the changes over the years have been disappointing. When this location originally opened, one of the BIG reasons I signed up was the 24-hour access. Obviously COVID changed everything for a while, but years later, I'm disappointed that the gym never returned to the hours it had when I originally became a member. With the more limited hours, it also feels like everyone is trying to squeeze their workouts into the same windows, and the gym can get ridiculously crowded. I understand gyms need memberships to operate, but at some point I think there needs to be more consideration for capacity. There are times when it feels like there are simply too many memberships for the amount of equipment and space available. It can make getting a normal workout in frustrating. Cleanliness is hit or miss. The employees are okay overall, although the friendliness at the front desk can be inconsistent. Sometimes you'll get a hello or goodbye when walking in and out, other times not so much. There are still plenty of things I genuinely enjoy here. I LOVE having access to the sauna and steam room, and when the gym isn't packed, I really enjoy working out here. I've stuck with this location since the beginning because I like Chuze. I just wish some of what made this gym so great when it first opened--especially the extended hours--would come back. With better hours and some attention to overcrowding, this could easily be one of my favorite gyms again.

Absolutely terrible location and corporate culture…read more Do not get a membership here. If I could give this place zero stars, I would. Chuze Fitness in Rancho Cucamonga is run by a terrible corporation that does not care about its community or its members. The management at this specific location went out of their way to falsely accuse me of violating a policy that I didn't break. Instead of acting professionally, communicating clearly, or actually investigating, they treated a paying member with total disrespect and hostility. You go to a gym to work out and clear your head, not to deal with corporate headaches, staff power trips, and baseless accusations. The entire vibe here is ruined by how poorly managed it is. Save your time, your money, and your peace of mind--go to any other gym in the area where they actually treat people fairly. Avoid this place at all costs! DO NOT GO HERE TERRIBLE STAFF & DISGUSTING ENVIRONMENT. VERY UNCLEAN.

There are a bunch of combo racks and KG plates for those who are looking to powerlift, but there are also alot of machines and bodybuilding equipment! They have everything for everyone here! That's definitely not something I've ever been quoted to pay, especially since I've been to the Fullerton location before and had a different experience. Since I had never used the 7 day guest pass, I asked about it, but they initially told me I couldn't use it and were extremely pushy about getting me to sign up for a membership instead. I kept declining a membership commitment and eventually they told me my 7 day guest pass went through and I was able to use the gym. I'll give 3 stars for the facility, but I'm taking off 2 stars because of the customer service and the way the situation was handled.

This really should be a 1 star, but I want to be fair and see if EOS can remedy the leak issue any time soon. If so, I would bump this to a 3. PROS: (there are more than these, but these are the items that made it worth joining vs. other gyms or just training at home) Cheap -8 squat racks/olympic lifting platforms with plenty of bumper plates -2 Concept 2ski ergs (repaired quickly when broken) -3 Concept 2 rowers (repaired quickly when broken) -3 Assault Air Runners (Many times one of the monitors is down, but not a lot of people use these so there's typically at least one in working order that is available) -1 Assault Bike (been broken for 9 weeks; obviously not repaired quickly when broken) -Tons of dumbbells -Decent assortment of kettlebells -Love the turf training area with plyo boxes and the sled -Sauna and steamroom -Very crowded (no one's fault, and this is also a good thing because people are getting out and training!) CONS: -The Assault Bike has been broken since late April. So actually closer to 11 weeks. At this point, just move it off the floor if it's not going to be fixed. -There are ongoing, unresolved leaks in room with the squat racks/lifting platforms (see photos). I didn't start to really pay attention to this until around March, just because it would be frustrating when people are waiting to use a rack and one or more of them would be closed off with signs and a bucket. But there have been ongoing leaks since FEBRUARY AT LEAST. Then it started to be every single day. At this point we are not even bothering to put the "CAUTION WET FLOOR" away (when a spot isn't actively leaking, the signs are folded up and leaned against the wall). One of the lifting platforms has what looks like wood rot where one of the leaks is. I originally thought it might be condensation, but I realized that this area is directly below the lockerooms, showers, steam room, etc. Steam room was also out of order last I checked. I would not be surprised if there is currently a mold issue, and if there isn't, it's a matter of time. The facility looks beautiful from the outside, and is generally nice on the inside. From walking by, you would never know that one of the rooms has been leaking for months. -Finding matching kettlebells is often like looking for one of a pair of socks. There are only single pairs in many of the weight denominations, and as long as you are willing to hunt upstairs, downstairs, in the squat rack area, and outside in "The Backyard," you can usually find the one you're looking for. Not always, but usually. -Dumbbells and DBalls are scattered everywhere throughout the facility. Other than creating a mess this is not a huge deal because there are SO MANY dumbbells here and I only use the 20lb. Dball. Demonstrates a lack of respect for the facility though. I realize it doesn't take many people to mess this up, but it also doesn't take many people remedy this. I have respectfully reported these issues (with the exception of dumbbells being everywhere) to the front desk on several occasions, and I welcome the opportunity to speak with an operations manager.
