LOVE this studio! Has the best atmosphere with the sweetest ladies and most amazing instructors!

I have been to many barre studios, including other Pure Barre locations. I really like the set up of this Pure Barre - Rancho Cucamonga location. When you enter, there is fitness merchandise on sale and grip socks if you forgot yours at home. The grip socks are required and closed toed only. Then there is a closed door that separates the lobby and the work out studio space so you do not interrupt the prior class. To the right of the door are cubbies where you can store your belongings. And to the left are fitness equipments for you to grab depending on what the instructor wants to use for the day. The format of the class is restricted to the Pure Barre model. Class begins with a warm up, arm work, thighs at the barre, gluts, then ab work on the floor. Stretches occur in between. Pure Barre believes in small movement for the maximum amount of change. In just 50 minutes, you will feel that "burn" and enjoy a full body work out. Amanda H. was our instructor for my first class at this location and I really love her. She is super friendly and knowledgable. Before class started, she checked on the class for injuries. She was very personable and remembered our names and encouraged us throughout the class. Options for adjustments were provided for a more intense or a less intense work out during each exercise. The music was very uplifting but she was great at volume control to adjust the music level down when she was giving direction, so I was able to hear her. I left the class feeling strong and invigorated. Pure Barre - Rancho Cucamonga has definitely made itself into my work out rotation. Whenever I am in the area and see them have an opening in ClassPass, I will take advantage of this work out. I especially hope to catch Amanda H.'s class when she has an opening. read more

I have nothing but great things to say about Pure Barre in Rancho. I came in a few months after having my baby and it really has transformed my mind and body. It truly was what I needed as my own mommy time. Even the girls at the front desk were so sweet when you would come in and head out. Unfortunately I had to stop my membership due to not having reliable day care at the moment for my baby and it was a very hard decision. I only took Amanda and Loris classes but they truly brought so much happiness to my days with their classes- even when I signed up for a 7am class lol I hope to be back very soon and pick up where I left off. read more

If I could give this business a zero I would, unfortunately I have to give it one star. I signed-up to try out the studio on 11/3/22 and was scheduled right away. I was contacted to collect my information and provided expectations during my free workout. I arrived there on time, I was in traffic trying to get to this location for about 50 minutes. IMMEDIATELY I was encouraged to buy some socks, I asked the girl at the front desk as soon as I arrived that I needed to use the bathroom. After showing me the socks, I had to ask again if I could use the bathroom. When I got back to the front desk to purchase the socks, as this is something they tell you it's needed. The socks range from $17-$23 - I bough the socks. ( technically the class is not free since you have to buy socks, I paid $19.55) I went to the room with the instructor Katie or Kacie? There were four people in attendance including myself. The instructor did not acknowledge me for a good 20 minutes and was only talking to the three other people. It made me uncomfortable, I did my best to follow directions. Around minute 35 she eventually gave me some tips. The workout was good, unfortunately they gave me bad vibes of being racist. If you're a Latina I don't recommend this place. At the end, Katie or Kacie talked to me trying to sell me the different memberships. The girl in the front desk was helping one of the people that had a membership already. I left feeling disappointed, I could've easily bought an unlimited membership. Pure Barre - Socks needed for workout - Barre Classes Near Me - Rancho Cucamonga, California

I took the "free" class here, although you have to buy $18 socks so it's not really free. I was ignored by the instructor (Andrea) for 95 percent of the time. She never even introduced herself to me. I asked if I could talk to the instructor after the class and was told that the receptionist would talk to her for me, like she was unreachable. Some of the exercises were clearly too advanced for me and I was not offered an easier alternative, so I was just left confused with nothing to do. I've attended 4 classes so far and plan on upgrading my membership next month. I absolutely love these barre classes. The classes are great and challenging. I'm using muscles that I don't normally use in my everyday life. Everyone is so friendly and welcoming. Christyana is so sweet and helped ease my anxiety when I first attended. Here's why Pure Barre is worth your time and money.. I'm a Middle aged Asian woman with some medical/surgical issues. I was looking for a women's gym with group exercises. I stumbled upon Pure Barre in a TikTok ad and I thought I should try it out. It sounded fun! I've been an unlimited club member at Pure Barre for 2yrs now and it's been money well spent. $199/m is like $6/class where instructors provide step by step instructions on the workout. The studio is conveniently located in Vons plaza on 19th and Carnelian so you can do errands before or after the workout. It's right next to the exit off of 210 fwy. The studio is clean and well maintained open during class hours. Front desk staff are very professional friendly and personable. They know everyone by their name and are really sweet. There's an app you can use to schedule classes that go by different names-"Classic", "Define", etc etc. The instructors are really nice, they know you and your level really well and work with you giving you modifications. For example I'm not athletic so I tell them what part is difficult and they allow me to do whatever I'm able. Its a beautiful Sisterhood in there. You can make friends. There's a lot of diversity and for women who are conservative and practice Hijab (Muslim headscar) this is a good place. There's only women 99% of the time. Some 1-2 guys come at a certain time, the staff can check for you if you are not comfortable working out around men. I'm from a conservative culture and I was going to sign up with a women's gym but I would have to hire a trainer which is additional cost. Here you get a "trainer" for free! And the women's gym is out of business so if you are a woman who is looking for women's workout groups, look no further! The instructors are amazing! They do the "choreography" show you the many steps of the workout while being attentive to every single person and knowing their name "Good job Amy", "nice work Stacy", etc (fake names used) They encourage you and know you and your abilities. Andrea is tough, very attentive. Lori is very encouraging "you can do this". Cat is great too! Another thing I like about Pure Barre is that you can take a medical leave for 3m with a doctors note. I have some shoulder issue and needed Physical Therapy so I used it. On another occasion I had surgery. People with all abilities can come to Pure Barre. I even saw a pregnant lady in class. I'm anything but athletic. When I first came I was so miserable that they suggested Pilates, I did that then a combination of Pilates/Pure Barre unlimited then switched to Pure Barre. I love the action, the loud music is the best part. If you are sensitive to loud sounds you can wear ear plugs. The workout is a combination of ballet, bootcamp, weights, etc etc The "back an inch, up an inch" part of the steps is like lifting weights, it really makes you sweat. There's a free trial class. If you want to do good to yourself, do good to your body. And spend on yourself. The classes are worth every penny! Bottomline, trust me, you will love it. I absolutely LOVE Pure Barre! I have tried gyms, home workouts, trainers, you name it. I've always dreaded doing my workouts and literally hated most of them. With Pure Barre I actually look forward to my workouts. The classes are well rounded. There's a great sense of community. Everyone is super friendly and knowledgeable. The workouts are challenging and change often, but anyone can do them no matter what size you are or even if you are pregnant. I always feel so good afterwards. The app is handy for scheduling classes and managing my workouts. I love that I get to workout in socks, lol! I really can't say enough nice things or recommend this place enough! If you're looking for a challenging workout, Pure Barre is the way to go! As a barre newb, I was pretty nervous about my first class and wasn't sure I would be able to keep up. Turns out I did, for the most part, and it was totally ok when I couldn't. My first class was with Gabby...she is super sweet and encouraging! The gal at the front desk (I don't remember her name) was super sweet as well. The class itself will make you break a sweat, no doubt about that! It's intense but also fit for beginners (I'm living proof of that!). They encourage you to move at your own pace but they also challenge you to do as much as you can do. I found the instructor as well as the other gals taking the class to be very down-to-earth and humble despite the fact that they were clearly miles ahead of me. The entire studio is clean and welcoming even for the first timer. Zero pretense! They provide cubby space for personal belongings and they also sell apparel in-studio...yet they don't try to push it on you. Score! The one thing I would've liked so have seen more of is more guidance for those of us who had never tried barre before. It would've been great to have the opportunity to practice some of the fundamental moves before class actually got started. I've been doing pure barre since 2012. I started in Baton Rouge and as soon as I moved to CA, I sought out a local studio. Most of the exercises are based on ballet so you are molding a long and lean body, QUICKLY! Here is a breakdown on the Rancho PB studio:: Ownership: The owner, Ashley, is super friendly and professional. She teaches classes, timely responds to emails and phone calls, and is very supportive. Class times: They range from 6am-715pm which is perfect for me. In Baton Rouge, classes started at 5am on Tuesdays and Thursdays but I assume class times cater to client needs. Pace: You go at your own pace and it's okay if you're at a lower skill or endurance level. I have never been able to deal with the plank portion of class but I'm okay with that and so is everyone else! My name: It must be mandatory that instructors know students' names!! When you're really grinding and shaking in class, the instructor will encourage you by name. Love that!!! Ratio: Sometimes there are five people in class and sometimes there are fifteen. This keeps the student teacher ratio very low so it always feels like you're getting personal attention. Cost: It is considerably more expensive than joining a gym but less expensive than hiring a personal trainer. If you're a first timer, you can do an intro special for $99 (which is a crazy good deal) or you can do a first time visit for $15. This class will blast your BUNS, THIGHS, and GUTS into oblivion. I've been going regularly for the last 4-5 months (once a week because that's what is in my budget) and I loved it. Well, that is until a recent experience left me wanting to desperately leave. I had been out of town and couldn't attend my usual class so I was especially looking forward to my sacred me-time that one gets when you're a FT working mom. It was raining, traffic was horrible, and I even called to let them know I was running a little bit late. My GPS put me at 5 minutes after class started. Well, of course my luck (or lack thereof), got me there 7 minutes after and the front desk woman, Leslie, said I was 2 minutes too late. Even after I told her how much my mental and physical health was hinging on this. I was offered to wait and stay until the next class. Ummm...who wants to wait in their car in the cold dark rain, let alone I just scarified precious time right before a holiday (Eve of Christmas Eve) with my children to be here? I then spent the next 30 or so minutes in tears because of her lack of empathy and understanding. What a way to get into the holiday spirit! That's when I realized that I was not a person to these people, just a number and some dollar signs to a corporation. Disposable even. So I asked to cancel my membership and was told that I had to give 30 days notice, I told her, fine, here's my notice. I'm not the type to expect everything to go my way, but when you've been regularly going and have never been late, and to be treated this way for literally a couple minutes on a rainy traffic-filled day, it spoke volumes to me. My experience with Pure Barre so far has been so much fun! It's definitely a challenging workout and works up a sweat with a few different class types for some variety in your routine! Although it's challenging, the instructors will walk around and ensure I'm in the correct form, so it's also great for beginners! Took my first Pure Barre class ever here using a Groupon for two weeks while I was pregnant and I totally fell in love!! Pure Barre is a 55 minute workout starting with a quick warm up, continuing with weights (mostly targeting arms) and then continues on with thigh, seat, and ab work with stretches in between and after class. It is extremely fast-paced and intense! You will literally shake in class and be sore as heck the next day or sometimes even right after class! My first class was with Gabby, and I'm so glad it was!! Gabby was extremely sweet!! I told her it was my first time taking Pure Barre and that I was also pregnant and she complimented me and then went over some of the things I should know like what a "tuck" is and how smaller movements were better than larger. She also told me to just have fun and not to worry if I don't get it at first! The classes were amazing and intense! I've never felt so strong before and I was pregnant!! I loved it so much and took 3 classes in a row. I did feel lost and the workouts were so different and hard but it was a great feeling rather than an intimidating one. I was already hooked after my first class. My second class was with Lauren and she was just as amazing! She was extremely friendly and full of energy and she kept telling me how inspiring and strong I was as a new mommy even after I died taking her class, lol! I also got a chance to meet Jamie and take her class and she told me she just had a baby as well! She told me things to watch out for and more modifications I could do that she had to learn on her own. She also gave me some advice with having a baby boy she had to learn on her own as well. They were all awesome! I didn't get a chance to try the owner, Ashley's class, but I did meet her! She was actually taking a class and I had no idea who she was but after, she ran up to me and said she didn't get a chance to meet me yet, and introduced herself as Ashley. She was so sweet and I had no idea she was the owner till someone else told me! This studio and these girls are the reason I fell in love with Pure Barre in the first place! Before I was pregnant, I tried either Groupons or free classes with CardioBarre, Xtend Barre and barre classes at gyms. I always had fun and thought about getting a membership but I always chose yoga over barre and never actually joined any studio. Just always planned to try new ones or take drop-in classes. Because of my experience here, I completely fell in love and just HAD to start a membership at the closest location once I moved. Would've loved to continue here but I moved to the San Fernando Valley so it is over an hour away. I love the workout here compared to other barre studios because it's less choreo-like and you Cousy tell it's more effective when it comes to working out your body. Your body already feels it after your first class. I also like the fact that the instructors learn your name the first day you take class here and they let you know when you're doing a good job or they come up to you and correct your form! Not only that, they are just really friendly here too. I've taken barre classes where they don't even learn your name or anything and it's just come in, take class, and go. Will definitely come by and visit/take a class whenever I have free time and I'm in the area again. Only met these ladies for two weeks and already loved all the vibes here! On top of everything, even before I moved, they never tried to pressure me into joining after my Groupon expired or anything. They were awesome. I love barre classes. I also travel a lot and have been to a TON of studios. This studio is definitely one of my favorite and my absolute favorite in the inland empire. I started pure bar a few months ago and I am addicted! It was very tough at first, but the Rancho location has amazing instructors. They are very helpful, and very encouraging. I feel much stronger and more confident since joining pure bar and I love the results! If you are looking for a low impact, muscle toning exercise, then this is your place!
