I just took the best hot Pilates class of my life with Erin at Birkham Pilates. The room was actually hot, I broke a real sweat (a lot of it), and the class was super challenging in the best way. My body felt so good afterwards. Erin was so creative with her exercises and as a Pilates instructor myself I felt really proud of her. She's amazing and I can see such a bright future for her. Joined a class with ClassPass. Enjoyed the 26x2 class with the instructor who helped with little adjustments.. Only complaint, There is def a weird smell in the room that eventually I got used to & I was not a fan of the floors. It looks like wood but was a carpet like feel, was not a fan. read more

Started coming back and booking through ClassPass and omg i have been loving it ! Greg is amazing, his hot Pilates class' are so intense. I'm always sore for days and can barely keep up in there. His playlist is top tier and always has the bangers going to motivate us. He gives thorough demonstrations and offers modifications for us, and ofc he cheers us on which is so sweet! 10/10 love it, please try it! Signed up for a 2-day class and ended up being charged a recurring membership. I emailed them immediately to cancel it but was still charged. I am continuing to be charged for several months now and there's no one that answers the phone or seems to be in charge of the business. I have to dispute these charges every month with my credit card company. read more

This is most definitely a great way to sweat, stretch and relax at the same time lol I've been coming here for years off and on (life happens) but im so glad I finally got a membership :) All the instructors here are wonderful. The yoga room is spacious and well kept. They have several classes to choose from and I'm usually able to make it to most, but really hoping they bring back the later times to accommodate those that work later :( My advice to anyone thinking of joining is to make sure not to have a heavy meal 2 hours prior, drink plenty of water before, during and after and definitely bring a towel. The Yoga and Pilates classes are the best! It's takes a minute to get used to the heat but the instructors remind you to breathe as you live through the class. Not at all intimidating, classes are good for all levels. You will feel the burn, but in a good way. Get there a few minutes early to relax and/stretch before class. read more

This was my first bikram yoga class ever. I didn't know what to expect. Everybody was welcoming and informative Especially the instructor. The instructor was the first to greet me and reassure me that everything would be ok. After the class, I was super tired - I just wanted to sleep and recover, which became a problem since I have two small needy kids. My only complaint is that there aren't enough 60 min 4:30 pm slots through out the week, so I'll be going on Mondays. Almost forgot to mention - I burned 860 calories in ONE session. I've been practicing yoga for 16 years and do believe the bikram sequence is genius, but I fill my spiritual cup elsewhere. These teachers are brutal and lack cooth and basic manners. But let it empower your practice because that's life, and how you handle life is how you handle your yoga. I've been grunted a "nu uh" for having my arms up in a pose, silenced for saying "thank you" during savasana and while leaving a teacher spoke rather loudly to me "you need to lock your knees." read more

I love it here! I just completed my 8th class and I can't stop telling everyone how wonderful it is here. I had only done one yoga class about 20 years ago, but decided to try it after hearing about hot yoga from my sister. I looked around and found this studio next to my work. I bought the groupon to start. Laura at the front desk was very helpful and gave me a quick tour on my first day. My first class was with Jesse, Mondays at 4:30. He is amazing. I have taken 3 classes with him and he has been so helpful with showing me modifications I can do since I'm not very flexible. I attend the weekday 4:30 or 5:30 classes after work since I live 35 miles away. So far, I've had Jesse, Chae, Debbie and Julian. Each of them are excellent instructors that motivate you to push yourself while guiding you through the movements. The classes range about 10-15 people at that time and they know your names. I appreciated that personal touch when they would address me to ask if I was ok or encourage me to keep going! Understand that this is a traditional Bikram yoga studio, not just a hot power yoga place. I read up on the difference and wasn't sure I'd like it. But look- I signed up for another unlimited month! I'm hooked! The majority of the yoga classes are 90 minutes, 105 degrees, 40% humidity, with bright lights and no music. I go to a 60 minute Zumba and love the music and I really thought I'd never make it 90 min without any music. But the class goes by so quickly you won't miss it. The room is carpeted. I don't notice any smell as some other reviews have noted. I actually like the floor. Give it a try! I'm sure you're get hooked, too. My coworkers tell me my face is glowing, I'm sleeping better, and I have notice increased flexibility! read more

The perfect place for a beginner! The environment is inviting, warm and non-pretentious. Each class I've taken I've thoroughly enjoyed and each instructor has been amazing. The owner, Greg, is incredibly kind, welcoming and attentive - he makes it a point to ensure your first class and every class going forward is as comfortable and as enjoyable as possible! He along with the other instructors want you to fully understand the poses while encouraging you to challenge yourself. This is a huge differentiator between other studios I've gone to (based on my limited experience). My only tiny con is the available class times as I can imagine with people that work around 8-9 wouldn't be able to attend beforehand. If I lived closer (coming from out of town), I'd be a regular! Attended the Inferno Hot Pilates with Gabriele. Very motivating energetic and challenging! just exactly what I need and grateful for this studio. I sweat out a bucket and felt relief knowing that my mind body toxins gunky funk are excreted & released. Gabriele is awesomely encouraging fun and always allows H20/towel breaks. Chances are you have heard many amazing Claims about the power of hot yoga. Well, it's true! ... hot yoga helps regulate all the body's systems to function more effectively! I personally love it! I loved this studio but they are sadly no longer on class pass. I had a class scheduled with them already last week and I got a random cancellation email day of the class for and then realized they were no longer on the app or offering classes through them...an email or announcement online would have been nice especially getting cancelled for an already booked class :/ First of all want to point out this isn't just a hot yoga studio (ie vinyasa yoga in a heated room). They strictly practice Bikram here so it's different and I suggest looking it up before diving in. They also have classes listed as "beginner" but it will be difficult so maybe try a normal beginner hot yoga class elsewhere where they start you off at like 85 degrees before transitioning here. Next thing you do need a mat AND a yoga towel so don't forget it or you'll have to rent one! They also do not have a water fountain so bring your own water or you'll have to purchase one because you WILL need it! They have some express classes that run for 60 minutes but the majority are the typical 90 min. Having said all that the classes are challenging but worth it! You will be a sweat puddle by the end of class but thankfully they do have showers and changing read more

I generally do yoga a large fitness club but I decided to give Hot Yoga a try upon a recommendation from a friend. I'll admit, I was kind of nervous, because I heard about the potentially nausea and how you have to make sure to drink enough water, etc., etc., etc. However, being the brave soul that I am, I signed up for the $5 community (hot) yoga class on Saturday. When I arrived, I was immediately greeted by Tammara. She was friendly, outgoing, gave me all the info and a tour of the place. When I entered the hot yoga room, boy was it HOT!! There was a industrial size heater blowing hot air throughout the room. I quickly assimilated and laid down in stillness like the other yogis and waited for the class to begin. The class begin promptly, and I must say that it was tough. However, I did not quit. I made it to the end (60 minutes). Yay for me! :) I would definitely return..the detox that the body gets is enough alone for me to return. Tammara is a rockstar and a great instructor. At the she gave us samples of some tasty Kombucha. I was also excited to learn that they sell alkaline water for $5. I did not try any this time but I will upon my return. If you are hestitant about hot yoga, give the community class a try. If you get to too hot, just pause, take a break, and resume if you can. Namaste. read more

My roommate raves so much about the magic of Bikram yoga. I've been meaning to try for such a long time but couldn't find a convenient location and the affordable price range. I found this spot via a Groupon deal and was super excited! Parking: convenient location in a large strip mall with plenty of parking, gotta love the IE... Service: AMAZING, I can't find a better word to describe them. I called in with questions about the class and they were extremely nice and throughout. All the instructors/ receptionist I've met have been great! My first class (ever) was with Monica, she is very patient and provides a lot of guidance for us newbies. She even let me borrow a mat and a towel for free on my first day as a complimentary gesture. My second class today was with Greg (the owner). Oh boy he is tough! In a good way of course :) He pushes and motivates everyone. I appreciate how he always correct our posture, which is so important for yoga. TIPS (for newbies): hydrate-hydrate-hydrate yourself the day before your class and after class! Bring your own mat and big towels. Be prepared to get your booties kicked... I thought I was fit because I've done a fair amount of yoga and pilates, boy was I wrong :3 OVERALL: Clean, fairly spacious and brand new studio. I can't wait to take on more classes. I used to live in Rancho Cucamonga right on Haven so when this studio opened first in 2013 I had to try it .Bikram is different than any other hot yoga (as it is slightly hotter and maybe a bit more challenging ), but I think it is also more rewarding.In 2015 I had to move so I had to say good bye :).I recently moved to Riverside and brought my husband to my "old studio " .Not only he loves classes with Debbie ,but now all he does is try to recruit people to Bikram as he can not stop talking about it .So my point is bring all your friends and loved ones , you never know who may fall in love with this and it is such a good practice for your mind and body. I used to take classes with Alex and she is still at this studio(which I was so so happy to see) .Everyone else except Greg seems to be rather new(ish) (at least to me) ,however they each bring something different to the practice and they are ALL super nice.
