OK, so here's the deal. It's a nice venue quite cozy more intimate than the larger one, but the customer service really sucked. I had to ask for my bill six times and it was wrong and then the waitress copped an attitude and was rude the rest of the night Because I did not tip because they already included an 18% tip on my bill for just me that's absolutely ridiculous. The comedy was good. The parking street parking so that can be a pain in the butt as for the food it's hit or miss. I mean it's all fried food so Nothing exceptional or unique. It's just basic bar. Oh let's address the drinks as well. Don't order no fruity pretty Fūfu drinks because they're overpriced and will be watered down if you wanna drink go for a straight shot.

It was my first time there watching a country show with great bands! I really came to see Joel Gibson Jr., but I was pleasantly surprised by Hell on Heels! Wow! it's a pretty cool place, it's very small but it's laid out the best it can be. I don't know what vibe they're looking for maybe sort of an alley bar look or what but I wish the bathrooms were at least nicer the place is very cold and very dark which is OK when you have a show going on but it is so loud you can't really talk, but it is what it is, a music venue. I will say I'm going up to the bar to get a drink was pretty easy considering how packed it was in there, and the staff behind the bar were extremely kind! The customer service was excellent, and the drinks were great too. I do wish they carried bloody Mary's she said they did not which is a bummer. Would make for a good Michelada! The front door they have like a bouncer guy or two and they kind of make you stand out front longer than necessary before they let you in the door which is kind of weird. It was freezing cold, rainy, and extremely windy and they just took their time letting one in at a time almost . All in all I will be back it was a great show, and great service. I just will bring a warmer jacket, and deal with the shotty bathroom stalls!

I haven't been to this location for years. But decided to go to see a band that I love. We decided to eat before we came just because I thought it might be a little bit busy as they opened at seven p m and the music starts at eight. That said, the kitchen would be very busy early on, and it might take a long time to get any grub. So this is not a review on the food but the venue itself. There is a lot of great seating, with several levels and floors, and most have a pretty decent view of the stage. There's a very large dance floor and a bar up and downstairs, which makes it very convenient. We ordered a full bottle of wine and could cork it and take it home after the show. This just stopped too many lineups at the bar. We sat upstairs and in the highest section with great seating and view. The sound was not the best, At first, I thought it was the band that opened thinking that they might not have the best sound, but the main headliner also sounded kind of terrible. I'm not sure if the venue does the sound or if the act bring their own sound people but it must be a tough place to get the sound right because it was not anything to write home about. We still enjoyed the show. Got a little dancing in and have a great time.

Menu!!

Went last night to watch a Beatles tribute band. We always go early to enjoy dinner there as they have always had a great selection of food items. Well to our disappointment ownership has changed and the food items were basically quick fried foods(photo of menu attached). We chose the mozzarella sticks as what can go wrong with that, well they were not served with any sauce so we asked for marinara sauce and were given ketchup!! We again ask for marinara sauce not ketchup and we're given some type of salsa, we gave up on asking for marinara! Also the cheese was cold inside! The plus to the evening was seeing the previous owner Rachel and the bartender Denise there, they both are great! We did meet the new owner Keanu and expressed our disappointment of the food choices, hopefully it'll change but until then we'll continue to watch the bands but will eat elsewhere before hand!!

On our most recent visit we tried the nachos, and they were honestly the best nachos I've ever had. The cheese sauce is amazing- not some gross canned stuff. The chicken is perfectly seasoned, and the ingredients are layered throughout so you're not stuck with a bunch of plain chips. It feels silly to be gushing about nachos, but they are next level. It's not cheap, but well worth it!

Dirty Oscar's Annex - Disappointing Experience on 6th Ave…read more We came in as a group of seven, and unfortunately the experience went downhill quickly. First, the service was poor and disorganized. One of my friends arrived early and ordered her drink, but it didn't arrive until after I had already received mine -- even after she asked twice. We also had to wait far too long for basic things like napkins and forks because we weren't given enough for everyone. The most frustrating part, however, was the automatic gratuity. At no point were we informed -- verbally or on the menu -- that parties of 6 or more are charged an automatic 20% gratuity. We only discovered it by carefully reviewing our checks. And to make matters worse, the so-called "20%" was not actually 20%. It came out to 24.1%. When we questioned it, the person who said she was the manager claimed "the computer does it automatically." We are a table full of teachers -- and the math was definitely not mathing. We understand and respect gratuity for large parties, especially when the service is great or when it's clearly communicated. But charging more than the stated percentage crosses from poor service into a billing integrity issue. To add to the frustration, there is also a credit card processing fee, which again was not clearly disclosed on the menu and only appeared at the bottom of the receipt. This absolutely should be visibly posted before ordering. They did offer to refund some of the charges, but we declined because it would have taken additional time and we had an event to get to -- and more importantly, it doesn't resolve the core issue of lack of transparency. She also gave each of us a $10 gift card, but again, that doesn't resolve the issue. And honestly, what good is a gift card if we don't plan on returning because of such an awful experience? Overall, this was a very disappointing visit, and not one we would recommend based on service and transparency alone.

The food is my favorite part. I can have a beer anywhere, but the food is actually pretty on point minus the nachos, sad to say. Always overcooked, cheese is hardened and well beyond melted, but a massive portion in size. The sandwiches are amazing, the quesadillas are amazing, have yet to make it there before breakfast ends but I'm betting it's probably pretty good. Staff are friendly, efficient, and do well on checking to make sure you're not waiting too long for service without being too bothersome. It gets a little loud, busy and crowded on nights especially on the weekends, but that's typical bar atmosphere. When I arrived at 10:00 AM, the manager was not there. I want to specifically thank the kitchen stuff who was there early; he was very kind, tried to help me, and suggested I wait at the bar while he tried to contact the manager. However, when the bartender arrived later, the situation turned unpleasant. Even though I had been waiting since 10:00 AM, he rudely accused me of being late. When I explained the situation, he dismissively said, 'I never seen my manager here on Wednesdays anyway,' and showed zero effort to help. He wouldn't even have bothered to call the manager if I hadn't explicitly insisted and asked him to. After the call, he simply told me the manager 'had something important to do' and wouldn't be coming, suggesting I should just come back later. It is incredibly disrespectful to confirm an appointment and then simply not show up , wasting a candidate's time and gas money. If the management treats potential staff with this much disregard and allows their floor staff to be so rude to applicants, it speaks volumes about the business culture. I hope the owner addresses this internal communication breakdown.

We were out celebrating my buddy's birthday today, and started out next door for some smokes and drinks. I had a plan for some choices for his bday dinner, and he opted with Ms. Jane's inside BJ's Casino. First off... this place is very elegant with a fine dining experience. Secondly, Cassandra was absolutely superb!! We all thoroughly had an amazing experience, from the drinks, appetizers, to our entrees, and the service. The Lavender Martini was top notch, and we also ordered the White Mojito. That mojito was crisp and refreshing! Two spectacular cocktails. As for our meals, undeniably unbelievable!! I ordered the 12oz. Ribeye, with Garlic Potatoes and crisp Broccolini. So crisp and a unique almost vinaigrette flavoring, with a subtle spice. As a side, we ordered the Thousand Layer Potato. My first time ever having this, but seen how it was made on a video. Simply divine. My wife ordered the Braised Bison over Polenta, with some Carrots. This is the tastiest Bison we've ever had!! We finished the evening with a Dubai Chocolate Fudge Sunday, and Cassandra gave us each a spoon to share in this decadence. Needless to say, my buddy had an incredible day of celebration! Turns out it's the former, at least in atmosphere. The service was genuinely lovely from start to finish. The host, server, and table assistants were warm and attentive. No notes there. We went with the ribeye prix fixe, which felt like the obvious call given that Ms. Jane's has built its reputation around it. The menu included a salad, two ribeyes with mashed potatoes and broccoli, and dessert for $150 plus wine. The salad was beautiful and delicious. It just could've used some cheese, and I will die on that hill. The mashed potatoes were legitimately outstanding and nearly redeemed the entire evening on their own. The broccoli was fine. Broccoli is always just fine. Then there were the ribeyes. They were enormous, beautifully presented, and unfortunately not much else. Both cuts had an excessive amount of fat and lacked the depth of flavor you'd expect from a restaurant that's staked its identity on this one dish. We make better steaks at home, which is not something you want to be thinking about after dropping $150 before wine. Dessert closed things out on a high note. A chocolate and vanilla mousse topped with genuinely delicate whipped cream. In the moment we told ourselves we'd come back and try something else. A few days of reflection later, that enthusiasm cooled but it didn't disappear entirely. The service was too good, the mashed potatoes too memorable, and the mousse too solid to write the place off completely. Ms. Jane's clearly has something going on. We just hope the ribeye isn't the thing they're most proud of.

Finally got a chance to try it at noon today, and it was a great experience! Environment: The overall vibe is very American. There were TVs on the walls constantly playing various ball games, like today's playoff game between the Thunder and the Lakers. It was pretty busy on the weekend, especially the outdoor seating area, which was almost full. The building is an old structure dating back to the 1900s. Though it shows its age, it's very clean both inside and out--you can tell the owner really cares. Service: Our waitress was very, very friendly and professional. She gave us great recommendations, always served with a smile, checked in on us during the meal, and refilled our water. Very satisfied! Taste: Pizza: There's a funny little story: supposedly, Marco Polo went to China and saw pies, but didn't know how to wrap the filling inside, so he just put it on top--and thus the pizza was born. Personally, I think this is a myth, or many people have started fantasizing about Marco Polo because they think he was too great. But according to various unearthed historical records in China, Marco Polo never actually went to China. In fact, around 2010, more than 20 scholars organized an event called "Retracing Marco Polo's Route." After completing the journey and comparing it to what Marco Polo himself recorded, most of them concluded that he probably never made it to China. Sorry, I have a strong urge to share--went off on a long tangent about Marco Polo. But the pizza was really delicious. It should be truly fire‑baked, not oven‑baked. The sauce was well‑balanced, and the toppings were generous and fresh. My wife and I ate more than half of it! Salad: The dressing and cheese were very generously applied, and the greens were fresh. Chicken wings: They had a pleasant sweet‑savory taste, just right. Unlike most American restaurants where they're too salty or too sweet, these were perfectly balanced. All the dipping sauces were good. Overall, highly recommended!
