Great fries and tasty burger. We had it delivered and even though it wasn't piping hot, it was delicious.

Had to go to the bar to get service and order which is ok. The drink menu was a QR code, which I appreciate but I also like physical menus. The food menu is minimum and didn't order anything. They don't have anything passed 7pm for food which is unfortunate. Also, it was supposed to be trivia night but I didn't see any games or why it wasn't happening. The ambience is definitely different. Quirky, fun, good instragramable place. Unfortunately, when we arrived although cozy there was a strange smell like burnt candle or burnt something. The candles they have are LED so ruled that out. This is my 2nd time. I would give better review but I am a little disappointed by their overall offerings.

At first glance it appears super tiny, but the bar goes back pretty far and is a good size. We got there before the nighttime crowds and managed to score the cozy couch in front of the fireplace in the back. It filled up quickly after that, though! The mood is moody and cozy, the perfect spot for making this apart of date night. I can't speak much to the food as we did not order any, but the menu is pretty elevated for a bar. I wouldn't say this place is divey at all, but the menu was still surprising. Service was good and they had a great selection of drinks. I got a hazy IPA (as per usual) and it was delicious! We also got a couple of shots here and absolutely adored the shot glasses they use. They look like tiny cocktail glasses! Overall we thought Holy Moly was a vibe and we will definitely include this in our 6th Ave rotation.

Seating is limited, but the bar is fully stocked! We ordered the chicken caesar salad and the Lil Saigon Sliders. The salad was fresh and crunchy, chicken well seasoned and tender, and the caesar dressing was BOMB! But those sliders..... WOW. The sliders bring everything you love about a banh mi to a mini slider that is the perfect snack size (although, they were so good we ended up ordering another) Our waitress was super kind and helpful with ordering, even suggesting a cocktail that was delicious. I can't stop thinking about how surprisingly good everything was and I cannot wait to come back for more!

She then said the best option for me would be the mushrooms or the wings because they are lightly breaded and she is gluten free and does well with those. We paid for our drinks and left. I won't be coming back and it's not because of the menu.

You can't really just show up and easily join in a table with friends anymore (the downside of booths). It's basically all new staff. Everything that made Terrys Terrys is gone. Its lost the casual, approachable vibe. The remodel looks great. The woodwork is absolutely beautiful, but that coupled with the cement floors makes it very loud. I do love that there is a patio where dogs are welcome. Of course the menu changed, that's expected. A lot of the old staples are gone. It's higher end fair. The new Mac and cheese bites are good (a new fancy version). You get 3 for $8. They no longer offer a patty melt, so I got the Meaty Mama Melt with Jo's. It was good, however I was baffled when it came out with ONLY 3 Jo's. It just seems cheap and ridiculous. The ranch used to be homemade and was delicious. The new one is watery and bland. And no tots?! It's still early days, and things may change. We will go back, but for now will need to find new spot to get takeout and classic bar food.

This place is ADORABLE when it's the holiday season!…read more We came this past Friday and it was starting to get crowded. It's a small place so definitely show up when they're about to open (4pm) bc it'll get crowded by then! Their seating is small so the booths are really for 2 ppl. We were a group of 3 and made it work! Our server was nice and patient with our questions! He said they do this "Christmas pop up bar" during the holidays and fully revamp their menu to be holiday-themed. Everything will be taken down and full menu back in January. I got the Christmapolitan which was lovely! My friend got the cocktail that was named from the Die Hard movie, "Yipee, kai-yay MF" lol. It was pretty good and came in a cute Santa mug with only Santa's bottom half The popcorn chicken was crispy and juicy! Their fries are BOMB, loved the crispiness of it. I got the hot chicken sandwich and it was crispy but kinda got messy and saucey towards the end...overall, pretty good food for what we had and drinks. For the holidays season, they have mugs and shot glasses for purchase to take home.

When I arrived, there was no greeter or host present. I went to the empty seat, briefly set down my coat, and dropped off the birthday gift. When I returned to the seat moments later, a member of the wait staff approached me and said, "What do you think we are doing? We seat people here." I asked whether that was how customers are typically greeted. She then stated that I had "tons of privilege" and directed me to leave the bar, including while I was standing near the door waiting for my friends. I understand that businesses have seating policies, but in this instance there was no clear signage or staff guidance upon entry. The situation was handled in a way that escalated rather than clarified the issue and detracted from what was intended to be a birthday celebration. Added after response from owner: You are certainly free to report your side of the story. I was greeted by your staff with the line, "Who the hell are you!" I asked, "Do you greet all of your customers that way." She then berated me and told me that she does if they just walk in and skip the line. Like most bars, with no one present at the front I assumed bar seating was open. Upon greeting my friends I took the seat. In regards to threatening remarks, the only threat I made was that I would leave a review. I used no harsh language and proceeded to the front of the restaurant to wait for my friends who decided to cash out. Your staff member proceeded to continue to berate me and tell me I would be trespassed if I didn't leave the restaurant and stand in the rain. I did leave while she continued to scream at me. Since I did not have context for what you described a simple, "Hi, we seat at the bar here and this is someone else's seat" would have been a great way to greet me. Don't assume I had bad intent just because I was trying to patronize the establishment. I highly suggest you read your reviews and quit attacking your patrons. Based on what I have read you have a serious problem with staff behavior. You spend all of your time on here defending bad practices instead of improving your service. I am happy to say that I will never patronize your business. In addition you lost 14 other customers due to your actions. I was told I must have privilege just to walk in to meet my friends at a bar. You have a clear over inflated sense of self worth to assume your bar is so great that treating customers this way will keep you in business. Best of luck, and you are correct, a place where staff greet you by yelling at you is not a great fit for me. It likely isn't for others as well.

On our most recent visit we tried the nachos, and they were honestly the best nachos I've ever had. The cheese sauce is amazing- not some gross canned stuff. Dirty Oscar's Annex - Disappointing Experience on 6th Ave…read more We came in as a group of seven, and unfortunately the experience went downhill quickly. First, the service was poor and disorganized. One of my friends arrived early and ordered her drink, but it didn't arrive until after I had already received mine -- even after she asked twice. We also had to wait far too long for basic things like napkins and forks because we weren't given enough for everyone. The most frustrating part, however, was the automatic gratuity. At no point were we informed -- verbally or on the menu -- that parties of 6 or more are charged an automatic 20% gratuity. We only discovered it by carefully reviewing our checks. And to make matters worse, the so-called "20%" was not actually 20%. It came out to 24.1%. When we questioned it, the person who said she was the manager claimed "the computer does it automatically." We are a table full of teachers -- and the math was definitely not mathing. We understand and respect gratuity for large parties, especially when the service is great or when it's clearly communicated. But charging more than the stated percentage crosses from poor service into a billing integrity issue. To add to the frustration, there is also a credit card processing fee, which again was not clearly disclosed on the menu and only appeared at the bottom of the receipt. This absolutely should be visibly posted before ordering. They did offer to refund some of the charges, but we declined because it would have taken additional time and we had an event to get to -- and more importantly, it doesn't resolve the core issue of lack of transparency. She also gave each of us a $10 gift card, but again, that doesn't resolve the issue. And honestly, what good is a gift card if we don't plan on returning because of such an awful experience? Overall, this was a very disappointing visit, and not one we would recommend based on service and transparency alone.
