This team claims to have competitive pricing. When I did my own research they up charge by $400. I asked if they were willing to budge on the price since competitors are selling it for less and they said no their margins are not large enough. See for yourself: homedepot price for the Karavan 5x8 sliding rail system. The better trailer with the fold up is still $200 cheaper than their ask elsewhere. read more

After speaking with Denver's big trailer dealerships, I got a tip on Jay Hawks. Couldn't be happier. Aaron, the owner, was knowledgable, kind, down to earth, and honest. I'll admit I called them because I was told they had the best prices in town, which was true. But I was blown away by the staff's kindness on the phone (Shannon rocks), and also the hard working guys in the back who led my lost a-s to the front - and later quickly made mods my new trailer on the spot on a very busy day, with a smile! Since then minor questions have been taken care of easily over the phone, with Aaron making it clear he will do whatever it takes so that I feel safe and happy with me new rig. First off I want to say I have had alot of dealer experiences from cars and power sports. I have even work at one, and let me tell you that the professionalism, product knowledge, and customer care is hands down second to none. I showed up unannounced with an idea of what I was looking for in a trailer. When I walked in they were understandably busy but Shannon still dropped what she was doing to come and talk to me(by the way Shannon is awesome). At first Shannon is all business, she sat me down and explained to me all of my options and we quickly found the trailer that suited my needs. She explained to me their prices which from my research are some of the best in town. She even told me up front where their profit comes from and where they try and save the consumer (me) money. Which honestly threw me back a little because she really doesn't need to disclose that kind of information. After deciding what trailer I wanted we then discussed all the accessories available for my trailer. Shockingly all of them were in stock, you don't see that to much anymore either. Also the prices are unbeatable on accessories too. The mechanics at jayhawk know what they are doing and my trailer was customized before we even fished the paper work. The mood inside was really good and you can tell everyone was having a good day(Even though it was pouring rain) and seemed to enjoy their jobs. If you've ever had an experience with disgruntled employees I can tell you from first hand experience it's a pretty unsettling feeling and makes you not what to be there (which was not the case here). As soon as my trailer was done they hooked it up to my truck explained some details to me and double checked everything. I was pretty much in and out with a brand new customized trailer in less than an hour without have even calling them prior or setting up an appointment. If you think about it that's pretty impressive by it self. I'm vary happy with my experience at jayhawk and want to thank everyone there for an incredible experience. We had a new larger ATV (a Gator) and needed a new trailer. My wife called and talked to the owner for quite a while and he was very helpful on the phone, so we drove there from Boulder. They were busy, but were super helpful. We found a trailer that needed some add-ons but we needed to pick up the Gator soon, so they loaned us a trailer! They were even busier when we picked up our new trailer. We managed to leave with only one hubcap, but with the hectic scramble, that was understandable. Very friendly and helpful staff. Very nice and accommodating owners. Highly recommended when you need a trailer. read more

absolutely the worst flat bed install possible... incomplete, parts missing, improper bed install, improper electrical wiring.. absolutely no idea how to do a proper install.. at this point i am surprised that the bed is even still attached.. they may be able to purchase a built trailer and sell it but jayhawk absolutely cannot install a flat bed.. most likely the bed will have to be replaced for a safe and proper install.. Do Not Use.. they even kept my class 5 hitch .. without permission.. this is one of those that will most likely end up in a lawyers office.. read more

After doing research for a used ATV trailer and finding Jayhawk Trailers to be the most competitive in price, I purchased a used 2013 Echo 2-ATV trailer from them on 7/24/18 and I am mostly pleased with the trailer purchase. However, I didn't receive the trailer title until 10/4/18(more than 10 weeks after the purchase), after being told ALL paperwork would arrive within 4-6 weeks of the purchase. After waiting over 9 weeks with no contact, I contacted the dealer and they realized "they had the title all along", but somehow, it was never signed by the previous owner when this trailer had been traded in for another trailer. Due to their delay in transferring/obtaining a new title for my purchase, I was charged a late fee by the DMV during registration. The dealer only offered an apology for the delay, after they realized their mistake! read more

We had a terrible experience. We stopped there to purchase a 2 place ATV trailer. We walked in knowing what we wanted and we were ready to buy. The sales people in the office were reluctant to even talk to us because they were too busy eating lunch. After a couple minutes, someone said "well I guess I'll go outside with you". We had confirmed with someone by phone the day before of the price and when we asked for the price again, the price had gone up $100. Not that big of a deal, except when we brought up the lower price they said it had never been that price. We then brought up a competitor that was between the two prices and we were told that if we could find it cheaper someplace else, to go there. So we did. We know not to go there when we decide to upgrade. read more
