Since I found this place - thank you Yelpers!! I have brought in 2 pairs of pants and 4 curtains for hemming. Simple stuff if one has a sewing machine. I'm not asking her to make alterations on my Chanel suit - first because I don't have one and second - that is some dicey altering I know. But I'm just asking for a hem - ahem - a hem... My is my go-to. I do my own laundry but I don't know about the rest. I'm already regretting giving her such rave reviews because now all you non-sewers will storm the place...but you would go just for her smile.

My DIL had her wedding gown tailored at a shop on S Colorado and the experience was not smooth, but worse of all, the tailor stained the bodice with oil from her sewing machine. She took no accountability. With 6 days till the wedding, I took the dress to Laundry Day who I have used since I moved to Denver. The owners were kind and compassionate. They calmed me down, confirmed the stain was oil and would have the gown ready in 3 days for pick up. I burst out crying. When I told them I was so angry with the seamstress from the other store, they encouraged me to let that go and focus on the wedding. I burst out crying again.

The employees response is, "we have hours of operation on the door, and we don't refund money." Additionally, they place a piece of paper on the wall that state the hour. And that the doors do lock. HOWEVER, these papers DO NOT warn people about what happens with the machines. When putting time on the machines or will not prevent you from going over the closure time. This plays STEAL your money and will not refund it. Ps. I have noticed that ALL negative reviews on google get a nasty response from the owner with NO personal accountability, which is an indication of poor customer service. It is statistically impossible for a business to be perfect. Thus, instead of addressing the issues, they berate the customer.

I had a long and tiring work week that left me extremely sleep deprived, with a long and productive…read moreweek ahead of me... However, I've always been in the habit of only ensuring that I put clean clothes in my luggage, even if it meant losing a couple of hours of sleep to do the laundry before I caught my flight. The hotel I stayed at had a coin washer/dryer, but it didn't run a strong enough spin cycle so my clothes were more wet than usual to begin with, not to mention the dryer hardly did anything... At the same time, I didn't want to pay another $1.50 to under-performing equipment, time wasn't on my side that day, not to mention since this laundromat was pretty close by, I decided to just come here. As I was still half asleep, I tossed my clothes and a quarter into the first machine I saw... Which I failed to notice that it had an out of order sign, which the manager politely pointed out. Instead of just leaving it at my own ignorance, while I was heading towards the change machine, he put in TWO quarters on my behalf, and I tossed the last quarter I had in my pocket in there... Although $0.25 is no big deal price-wise, it's a HUGE gesture that demonstrates the manager's integrity, and I'm grateful that he has helped immensely in getting my clothes nice and dry!

The machines also work well and always clean my clothes and remove all the soap. However, there is never anyone at the site who works there in case of any issues that may arise. Lately, while there is a sign on the door that says masks are required, most of the people I run into are not wearing masks. This is fairly disturbing since I'm on disability, can't afford a washer/dryer for home and can't afford to get sick either. It's a really great laundromat, and I would like to continue using it, but please, to the owners, I see you look through the cameras several times when I am there...please enforce the mask rule.
