Excellent work by Alex, Jake, and the team. Found the perfect trees at the right price and installed them expertly (I helped). I highly recommend them for someone looking for high end service and the very best specimens. Bought 2 medium canaries and couldn't be happier.

We purchased our first home back in June and my hubby and I have been wanting a palm tree for a long time .. but we wanted a nice palm tree! We went to about three different places and didn't like anything and what we did like .. cost body parts... we came here last Saturday and as soon as we got there Alexandra came right up to us with the biggest and most humbling smile... I just can't get over how nice and respectful she is.. she gave us several options she explained how to take care of it... Just absolutely amazing! Their trees look so healthy and their property is well maintained !! But out of everything they just have the best customer service I have ever experienced .. thank you Jax Palm trees for making our dream come true .. please don't ever change those amazing and wonderful hearts you have!! God bless!!

Jake and team at Jax Palm Trees are the trifecta of quality, price, and professionalism. We bought our first palm trees here and were so impressed by the no-pressure, educational nature of the team, and the quality of the trees. We could not be more pleased with the process from A-Z and our yard looks like a tropical oasis thanks to the team here, don't even think about going elsewhere!

Even the pup likes the new palm!

You can't beat this place for palm trees! I'm so happy we found them. The prices are fantastic and everyone we dealt with was really nice and knowledgeable. Our tree was picked out and installed within a week. We also found some really nice bamboo. We will definitely be going back to Jax Palm Trees in the very near future!

Jake hooked me up with a 3 gallon needle palm that I will take north with me to plant this hardiest of native palms.

I told them the basic of what I wanted and I let them run with it. They came up with all the plants and the design and I even had a dry River Creek put down which is fabulous. It was one of the easiest projects I think I've ever been involved in and the project team that I worked with was great! They were the nicest bunch of people, so polite, on time, clean up was great including pressure washing my driveway. Darrell was the project manager that was responsible from start to finish. I pretty much left everything up to him and his expertise for suggestions, arrangements and most plants used. I wanted something low maintenance but aesthetically pleasing to the eye. His plan was perfect! Adam, the foreman, who actually supervised and did all the work out front was one of the nicest people you could ever meet. Even asking him to make a change or add something was not difficult, he was so agreeable to please the customer. His Workman Kaboba and Jay work together so well it was pretty amazing to watch it all come together. Would I hire them again for another project, absolutely!

The new addition to the mural on the side of the main building is stunning (I loved seeing it get done!). They host events too, makers events, specialty dining in the gardens, gardening workshops. They are a no nonsense company and obviously know what they are doing. Quality of sod is so much better than what the local hardware stores carry. For sod, I highly recommend Hickory Creek nursery located at 12615 Ivylena Rd Jax FL.

Support local small businesses! Many years ago I learned about how those who grow the plants that…read moreend up at the big home improvements stores and big box stores get paid- or don't get paid. Any plants that die on site, even if the store doesn't water properly or puts them in the wrong sun/not sun spot, any returns of dead plants equates to the grower not getting paid. This rubbed me the wrong way, when I heard it. I am going to be honest- I still end up buying plants from said stores, but I do pop into various nurseries and try to support their small business. Since I broke out of apartment jail- I have plans for the house! For the yard- don't ask me what those plans are.... it's a vague concept right now. But as the young lady asked me what I wanted- ha! I want jasmine- shows me various jasmine plants! Yippee. I am thinking of maybe putting a tree in the front yard- those are in the back. Ok- I'll walk back there, or hop in the convenient golf cart with my plant guide! Zoom~ we are rolling up and down aisles of trees! John was thinking live oak which I love, but then I saw they had weeping willows! WHAT!??!!! And a weeping bottle brush! I need to do research and ask the hoa before diving into a tree purchase! I was looking over azaleas, hibiscus, sod (I need some for my front yard) and various other plants! They even had blueberries! hmmmm. Generally speaking- my thumb is green. I ended up with Jasmine and Honeysuckle and had to lay both down in my car- because they both had trellis attached and were pretty big. John caught me when I got home! In my work dress, with 2 massive plants, one on each hip. I did change into jeans before digging into the earth! I can't wait to go back for more! March should bring more varieties of flowering plants- good tip to know! And peak season will bring Sunday hours (currently closed on Sundays)- aka, March- April! This place is HUGE and they are right there to greet you and assist with anything you want to look at!

I found a gorgeous hibiscus shrub and two bags of red mulch for my front yard in the garden center. Then I pushed the heavy cart to the paint department where I met Corey. Corey helped mix my gallon of Pacific fog Behr paint for my cabinets. I also needed to purchase a quart of ceiling white and exterior paints. Corey pointed me in the right direction for the ceiling paint and he came out from behind the counter and walked me to the external paint. Excellent customer service and bonus he was friendly too! Teresa was my cashier who also called for assistance to help me get the mulch in my car. Thank goodness, because I barely got those bags in the cart;))) I had such a fantastic experience at Home Depot this evening. I was treated with kindness and respect and I was thanked for choosing my local Home Depot. Customer for life!

No matter which Home Depot you visit, you're always going to find what you need to fix up your…read morehome, things for your yard, gardening - even through the Christmas/New Year's holiday season as well! It would take me a day plus to write up evening this, and other Home Depots offer their customers. This HD has been around considerably longer than the JAX Beach HD I reviewed earlier this year. It's somewhat older in appearance and seems to have a fair amount of dust in the air, but nothing harmful to that end (I hope!). But if you like the smell of lumber, it offers a ton of different types and sizes of lumber for side walls, studs, you name it! As for tools, whether electronic or battery operated, or practical hand tools, HD has it all. And certainly this included the popular brand names like Milwaukee, DeWalt, Stanley, Husky, etc. They do not carry Craftsman tools, though. Its popular tool brand, Ryobi, offers an amazing variety of practical tools that are battery operated. These include lawnmowers, box cutters, saws of various types, drills, etc. I will say that I have purchased many of these types of Ryobi products and not been disappointed with any of them! My second favorite brand is Milwaukee. Guess I wanted to look like a real construction man at times too! I like their grill section and got a great deal on a Traeger last year. Traeger has been my go-to grill for years and this one has been pretty awesome! I probably can assume that most people know that they can find new appliances here (ovens, washing machines and dryers, microwaves, refrigerators, among other household appliances) but I will say that the brands they offer are pretty solid. Though I do favor the LG brand. There is much more here at the HD from painting products, household interior and exterior lighting, home alarms, doors of various types, - and so much more! I even use Home Depot shops as a walking track to get the calories in on my Apple Watch because this hot weather is unbearable! In addition, at this HD, the staff is pretty phenomenal! Very courteous and friendly - and more, those assigned to their departments know the products well. I would say I've been very happy with the value of the products. They hold up and perform well for the money. Also, what's great for the customer is that HD is just about always having some kind of sale. Get their app and it will keep you up to date! HD does support military active duty and retired veterans with a 10 percent discount (these do not apply to large appliances and the expensive stuff, but most of the basics you'll want, you'll get it!). However, be sure to apply for it on their app or website. Home Depot has become a favorite place for me - gotten me out of a number of jams. I'm sure others find it a fantastic option for what it offers. Visit this HD and I'm pretty sure you'll feel good about what you received in service, selection, and value for your dollar!
