How greedy do you have to be to rip off people in need. GROSS. Also, I tried to leave this review on his facebook page because they seemed to be all positive. I was unable to leave a review. When I googled why can't I leave a review on FB for a business, it says the owner may have turned off reviews. Don't believe the other review sites just another one of his scams.

I ended up having to forgo having my cavity filled that day and go back to the dental surgeon to have a tooth pulled. That being said, Wonda took my X-Ray that day and she is truly a kind, caring, and beautiful soul to have as your Expanded Functions Dental Assistant. A kind person is so important to those who are having dental work done and who are worrisome or afraid. I can see that she is this kind of person that will bend over backwards to help you with your dental care needs. I would also like to add that Artistic Smiles does take Medicaid and Liberty Dental.

Dr. Carl fucked my shit up BAD…read more I went to this dentist a little over a year ago for several cavities and a root canal. I ended up having to come back multiple times because he had to fix his own work. A filling fell out, and the tooth that supposedly had a root canal has continued to hurt. The last time I was here was less than a year ago, and I am now having to find another dentist to fix the problems left behind by this treatment. I am in excruciating pain on a daily basis and, at this point, I haven't been able to eat properly for days because my mouth hurts so badly. The tooth that had the "root canal" is by far the worst. There is now a giant hole in the tooth where the filling has fallen out AGAIN, and the tooth is extremely painful. He also left sharp pieces inside my mouth after I told him multiple times that they were sharp and hurting me. On top of the dental problems, he was extremely rude and dismissive. He made me feel like I was an inconvenience for asking for nitrous, dismissed my concerns, and generally made an already stressful experience much worse. The women at the front desk, however, were absolutely amazing and incredibly sweet. I have nothing but good things to say about them. I'm leaving this review because I genuinely hope it saves someone else from ending up in the same situation. I am now dealing with significant pain and the cost and hassle of finding another dentist to repair work that should have been done correctly in the first place.

First, there were the repeated billing issues. Duplicate billing to my insurance companies, billing in excess of the charges incurred, unclear explanations for these events. I've had to reach out to my insurance companies to gain a better understanding of how these matters should be handled, I've explained it to the staff more than once and have been told (repeatedly) that the information was included in my file. Yet...it keeps happening. Next, is the lack of communication and failure to follow up and through. I've left multiple voicemails without receiving a return phone call. When I've been able to get someone to answer the phone, it's usually the poor receptionist who only passes along my messages (which I've been assured time and again was done); however, I've yet to speak directly with the person(s) that keep screwing things up. I have spoken with the Officer Manager (who also happens to be the wife of Dr. Junca). She's very nice. However, even she fails to follow through on what she tells me she's going to personally do or have done. My most recent appointment was the last straw. Apparently, I needed some additional work but the Billing Clerk did not want the staff to schedule me until pre-verification. I was told someone would call. After a week, I called multiple times with no answer and finally left a voicemail. During this time, more billing issues for that visit. I sent to emails. I called again asked for a return phone call from the manager. We had a nice discussion and I thought it was resolved. I was promised that detailed billing would be emailed to me with 20 minutes. It's been more than a week and...crickets. So, I finally made an appointment to see a new dentist. Crossing my fingers! Dr. Junca is nice and the hygienist I had was very sweet, too. Unfortunately, his front office is in shambles and has been for a while. I really hated to change dentists just when he's finally moving back close to where I live. But, good customer service is a must for me.
