I was wearing retainers, and only able to eat because of them. The office offered no assistance in making the appointment. I explained to him that our family was experiencing a life threatening medical situation with our small grandchild. I needed their help so I could get back to them. The Windermere Center for Dentistry is a clean, welcoming office that's about a 20-minute drive for me--super convenient and right near downtown Windermere. The waiting area is simple and standard (no spa-like frills, but honestly, I'm not here for the magazines). The staff at the front desk are friendly and efficient, which makes the check-in process smooth every time. Where this office really shines is the dental team itself. Everyone I've worked with has been professional, kind, and genuinely good at what they do. Cleanings are thorough but not uncomfortable, and they recently upgraded their chairs to include pillows--which is a surprisingly nice touch of comfort when you're reclined for a while. Dr. Rapport is excellent. She's knowledgeable, attentive, and you can tell she cares about her patients' dental health. Sometimes it's a little tough to catch everything she says through the mask, but that's part of the times we're in. What matters is that she explains clearly, makes sure you're taken care of, and most importantly--she keeps me on track with my oral health. At the end of the day, it's a team effort: I do my part at home, and they keep me polished and on track here. Instead forcing me to physically go to the pharmacy multiple times as a hardship to my disability.

Mar 12, I woke with a toothache. The tooth was under my bridge. Instant panic at the bill…read more I walked into Sand Mine with dread as I had the same issue last year at a different dentist office and they wanted $7500-$10,000 to remove the bridge, give me a root canal and leave me toothless for 6 weeks for the new bridge. I opted for the antibiotic, the pain went away and I dodged a bullet. But now the infection/absess was back. Dr. Nirh came in with a big smile, talked calmly, showed me my x-rays and exactly what was going on. Basically, the infection lays dormant and will continue to return if not treated properly. Simply, I need a root canal which can be performed through the bridge with a small hole. Not ripping/sawing/breaking the bridge off as I was told at the other dentist office. I do have to have this part done with a specialist right down the street next week, but what a relief! I was prescriped Ibuprofen and Amoxicillian and today feel some pain relief. My cost yesterday: $0 for the xrays (covered by insuarnce) and my co-pay for the refilling of the "hole" after the procedure will be $145. I'm not sure what the root canal will cost, but I'm sure not $10,000. The staff were great, Dr Nirh was calming and layed back and I would highly recommmend this dental office! I am 62 years old. Excellent experience!!!

I have to say there were not many, but then I found Lasting Smiles Dental Care. I figured I would give it a try since I was in a lot of pain on my lower left molar. I made my anxiety problems very well known and no one judged me or looked at me in a bad way. I have to say that from start to end I was very pleased with the service I received. I wish I would have found them sooner. I had to get my molar extracted and I was in a panic. The assistant was caring (made me feel safe) and the doctor was gentle every step of the way. I didn't feel a thing. He injected novacaine and I felt nothing. Before pulling my teeth he tested the area, I felt a little bit of pain and he put numb it some more. I felt nothing. The molar was out before I knew it. AMAZING!! I am not one to write reviews, but I had to let everyone know that I was going back and forth about taking a valium or nitrous and I didn't need either. I would highly recommend this dentist to all my friends. I even got an appointment for my son because he will be a patient as well. He was also honest and not trying to take my money and their prices are super reasonable. I went to another dentist in Clermont and they weren't honest and were trying to upcharge everything. Dr. Haidar was upfront and when I told him some of the things that they wanted to do to me at the other dentist, he told me there was no need, he'd just be taking my money if he did the procedure. That's what I want, upfront information and honesty. You will not be disappointed with Dr. Haidar and his staff.

They assigned a lovely girl named Linette (spelling ?) to me. I was apprehensive at first due to her young age but her technical ability, sensitivity, and most charming personality disarmed and put me at ease immediately. She was so easy to talk to and we had a lot in common. I hope that she knows what a pleasure it was to meet such a talented girl and almost wish that I needed more work just to be near her again. Kudos to Lasting Smiles and Dr. Ma for having such a beautiful staff. They can inject, drill, or cut me anytime. Be well.
