They conducted an X-ray and a brief consultation with the doctor, but to our surprise, they didn't perform the cleaning that was supposed to be included in the special. Instead, they tried to upsell him on a deeper cleaning, citing that he hadn't visited the dentist in a while. He felt pressured and refused all the additional services. When I called to inquire about the situation, I was informed that the special is only for individuals with healthy teeth and gums. This crucial detail was nowhere on their website, leading us to believe the special was misleading. It seems like their main goal is to lure you in and then upsell their services. I called to schedule an appointment with the oral surgeon and they don't even take my insurance. So I made an appointment with the urgent care office and they gave me antibiotics. So I called today to see if she would please squeeze me in as today makes day 7. I was told again she couldn't do anything as she believed it was my wisdom tooth and wouldn't be able to see me. After pleading and having to over talk her to explain that the pain was nowhere near my wisdom tooth she finally decided to schedule me but told me she wouldn't be able to do anything about it. This is unacceptable. I am 8 months pregnant and never thought I would have this experience from a doctor. Doctors have to learn to take black pregnant mothers more serious across the board.
