Many of us HATE going to the dentist, yes I am one of those people. I have always had anxiety going…read moreto the dentist from a younger age because of patient treatment. I have been going to Dr. Marte's office for about two years now and I have to say it's the BEST experience I've had at the dentist. The two hygienist I've had have been the sweetest to me! First one I had really made me feel so comfortable being there and made sure I was comfortable the entire time. Sadly she ended up leaving and was moved to another hygienist and been with her for over a year now. And just like the first one she always making sure I'm okay and talks me through it. Dr. Marte has been super friendly and always has great tips. In a few months I'll be moving but I will still make the drive just to come to this location. 10/10 experience for me.

It would have helped to get it beforehand, and after. The dentist wants me to get $5500.00 Invisalign Braces for TMJ that I thought I MAY have. She didn't even examine me for a diagnosis. We didn't even discuss my Xray results, or other options for my clenching jaw. She just jumped to my 3 slightly crooked teeth. THREE! Really? They didn't even make my next 6-month appointment after 3 HOURS of appointment time with them. Everything immediately focused on my new braces. They even pushed me to apply for credit. When they asked me for my checking account information, I put the brakes on. All they did, was make me feel like I was being taken advantage of. Cavities? I don't know if I have any. I will most likely get an appointment with someone else in 6 months. I really hate the way my appointment shifted. Seven days later, I am still feeling that vibe. I don't like it at all. Ruban kept calling me, even after I left him a message telling him that I will be seeking a less invasive treatment. None of which they discussed with me. Invisalign Braces were my only choice from this dentist. I told everyone in this office that I spoke with that my hearing is an issue, and please not to call me on the phone. My phone is ringing. I think this office has a hearing problem. Obviously no one marked my record as I asked them to. I am thoroughly disgusted, and not happy at all about this wasted appointment.

I was the first of my family to schedule an appointment; and, I really didn't know what to expect…read more However, the practice is well-run, the operations are top-notch, as is the equipment; and, the billing is accurate. The dentists are highly regarded in the industry and hold professional accreditation beyond DDS. They were thorough in their examination; and, took great pains to ensure my comfort and expand my knowledge as to what they were doing and assessing. The hygienists were fantastic; and, my procedures are more cost-effective with our new insurance (and Denitla) than they were with our old dentist and the insurance that he took. I've yet to schedule my crown and filling; but, those are on the list for early October. I was very happy to have been here; and, am looking forward to my wife and our daughter making appointments and visiting the practice.

I have been a patient of Dr. Castro for nearly nine years and was always satisfied with the care I…read morereceived until recently. Unfortunately, over the past couple of years my experience has changed significantly, and after my most recent visit I have decided to seek care elsewhere. About a year and a half ago, I was told I needed a dental implant and received a quote from Dr. Castro's office that was extremely high. After getting a second opinion, I had the same implant completed by another dentist for $3,000 less. During that visit, the dentist also identified an infection in my upper right tooth. Six months later, during a routine cleaning with Dr. Castro, I asked him to check that area and was told everything looked fine. However, at my most recent visit two weeks ago, I was advised to get veneers on my four front teeth and whiten the rest of my teeth. I was also told the office would bill my insurance for crowns instead of veneers so that part of the cost would be covered, which raised serious concerns. Because of these red flags, I returned to the other dentist for another evaluation. I was told I do not need veneers and that whitening would be a more appropriate option. Additionally, the infection in my upper right tooth is still present and will likely require a root canal. Since it may have gone untreated for over a year, there is now a risk the tooth could need to be removed. In addition, the atmosphere in the office has changed noticeably. While the staff is friendly, the frequent loud chatter and laughter create an unprofessional environment that was not present years ago. It is disappointing to see such a decline after so many years as a loyal patient. Between the pricing differences, questionable treatment recommendations, and concerns about quality of care, I no longer feel comfortable continuing treatment at this practice.

The staff members…read moreare very welcoming, and the new patient paperwork is all electronic which allowed this process to go by quickly! Dr. Tran was very invested in getting to know who I was. My previous dentist did the same, but Dr. Tran didn't only ask a few questions - we talked during the whole cleaning! She is also very gentle! While flossing my teeth she wasn't aggressively shoving the floss between my teeth, like my previous dentist did. Overall, Dr. Tran makes you feel very comfortable in her chair. On my way out, another patient brought in a gift for Dr. Tran and thanked her for all that she does for her. That gesture validated how I feel about Dr. Tran and this dental practice. I definitely recommend this practice!

I would give zero stars if possible…read more I originally visited this dentist because I was experiencing severe jaw pain, facial pressure, and distorted vision. I was genuinely concerned that I had a serious tooth issue causing these symptoms. X-rays and an exam were done, but I was told there was nothing wrong with my teeth. Despite that, I was referred to an endodontist anyway, which I paid for completely out-of-pocket. The endodontist confirmed it was not a tooth problem. Because my symptoms were continuing and worsening, I made the decision myself to go to the emergency room out of concern that something more serious could be happening. I underwent an EKG, CAT scan, and was even transported to the hospital for an MRI. After all of that, I was released with no answers. Following advice from a nurse practitioner at the hospital, I returned to this dentist requesting a referral to an oral surgeon for a TMJ evaluation. The dentist refused, stating she didn't think I had TMJ, and provided no further guidance, suggestions, or concern for what was clearly an ongoing and serious issue. I eventually sought out an oral surgeon on my own and finally got answers. The cause of all of this was nighttime teeth clenching/grinding (bruxism). The strain on my jaw muscles had irritated the trigeminal nerve, which was causing referred pain, pressure behind my eyes, and even vision disturbances. This could have been identified much sooner if the dentist had actually listened to my concerns and considered clenching/grinding as a possibility (which there was apparent evidence of). Instead, I went through unnecessary specialist visits, emergency testing, hospital bills, missing days of work, and weeks of stress -- when the solution was ultimately something as simple as a mouth guard. I would not recommend this dentist to anyone. Patients deserve to be heard, taken seriously, and guided appropriately when dealing with potentially serious symptoms.

I had a 9:30 a.m. appointment that I moved up from the following week because of a broken crown. I arrived on time, but by 10:30 a.m. I still had not been seen or given any proactive update. Meanwhile, another patient who arrived about 30 minutes after me was taken back first. When I asked about my appointment status and expected wait time, I could not get a clear answer, so I asked to speak with Office Manager Lisa Bullock. Unfortunately, her manner was dismissive, confrontational, and humiliating. She repeatedly interrupted me, and when I asked if she could please let me finish speaking, she responded, "I don't want to listen." This conversation took place openly at the front desk, where other patients could hear how I was being spoken to. When I asked how much longer I needed to wait, I was essentially told that if I could not wait, I could reschedule. I ultimately canceled my appointments and left without receiving treatment for my broken crown. Delays happen. What was unacceptable to me was the lack of communication and, especially, the way a legitimate patient concern was handled by the Office Manager. I also submitted a complaint through the corporate channel and, to date, have received no response.
