I purchased zoom teeth whitening from Groupon, I read reviews, and I even went in for a consultant. The doctor was pleasant and focused on care and comfort for his patients. It's his staff that is unprofessional and needs training to meet the needs of their staff. I had a follow up appointment 3 weeks after, and unfortunately because of their incompetence they canceled my appointment without reaching out to the correct number. I make it to my appointment on time, and the receptionist shared she called me and couldn't leave a voicemail, and sent text messages. I shared that's strange because I haven't received any since the last time I was there in mid December. I asked if she can call the number on file, she calls the wrong number (there were two numbers strangely on file- only 1 number different from both phone numbers on file). Which I'd think due diligence would be calling both numbers if one number doesn't even allow you to leave a message. She proceeds to argue with me, and share that's it's not their fault and that unfortunately I do not have an appointment anymore when I waited 3 weeks prior to vacation for this appointment. I will take accountability, maybe I shouldn't have purchased the zoom whitening on Groupon and stayed loyal to my primary dentist. So disappointing and never again. I do like the doctor but based on their staff, I highly do not recommend!!

My appointment was ultimately canceled without any attempt to resolve the situation. This experience showed a complete lack of professionalism, respect for customers' time, and basic communication. I will not be returning and would not recommend this business to any one due to a clear lack of respect from the front office staff. I understand things happen and get busy, but the way this was communicated was incredibly unprofessional and disrespectful.

If payment is required it should informed prior, not hidden and withheld information. They knew from the beginning from when I scheduled the appointment the medical issues with my son, I then once arriving I informed them once again my sons special needs, then again to them when I brought them back. When she informed me it was required for him to be restrained she withheld the cost or the fact it was not able to be billed by insurance. They are required to tell me prior that something isn't covered by insurance and let me make that decision, instead they dilebertly withheld information for a financial gain.

Went on Monday and was prescribed an antibiotic then by Friday I was experiencing more infection. I called was told it was an administrative day. The doctor wasn't there, but she would get back with me and never did. my experience was more like a sales pitch after the initial visit. and I felt like because I only spent $69. They really had no interest in their financial future with me. but Kelly was nice enough to give me a pitch about if I spent $1500 to repair a tooth I could spend 170 on a discount program that would save 20% off future costs. I would advise anyone that goes there to beware if you don't have insurance or money to spend that's not the dentist for you. as I sit here and have never gotten a response back and it's Saturday sad

He also tried to sell me a 1000 dollar crown on another tooth that I just wanted pulled and another dentist just said needed a root canal. Last this was the most painful extraction that I have ever had. He kept saying just a little pressure. No that's pain and he wouldn't stop even when I spoke up. The first time I came, I was impressed with the facility and how each room seemed to have foliage and big glass windows that allowed natural light to come in. I personally think that helps make it feel less "hospital-like" and helped calm me down before my first dental cleaning in yeaaaarssss. My dental hygienist was kind, patient and did a fabulous job helping me feel/stay comfortable. After my first visit, I looked into Invisalign and started treatment shortly after. My experience was a little unique since it was during COVID-19 but overall the treatment was really easy and they did their best to make us feel safe and followed safety precautions which I appreciated (having a partner who is high-risk w/ an autoimmune disease). I personally probably should have gotten braces bc I have no self-control lol but overall Invisalign was best for me since I was graduating college and didn't want to have metal in my mouth for those photos. During my treatment, Southpark Dental was able to contact Align Technology and make sure I was given the refinement that I was owed with my original package [keep in mind COVID closures and delays in normal routine visits]. They did not have to do that but it was SO NICE of them to take care of me like that and with a little luck and time I was on my way to even straighter teeth. Although my teeth aren't where I would want them to be that is MY FAULT and has nothing to do with my dentist or her assistant who I both absolutely love! (Dr. Reiter and Leishla) I've been coming here for six years now and everyone in the office is so kind and professional.
