This is my third visit to this office. The previous two visits I would've given 4-5 stars due to the staff and the dentist been very nice and capable. Recently I went in for a cleaning with.Olena Immediately, I should've known something was wrong when she was measuring my gums because that was extremely painful, and usually that part doesn't hurt at all. Then when we started the cleaning, she took the water pic and aggressively began working. She did say, raise your hand if you have any discomfort which I did multiple times. This did not cause her to stop or change her technique at all. I ended up stopping her and getting up and leaving my Cleaning within three minutes. I get my teeth cleaned every six months since as long as I can remember so I've had almost 90 cleanings and I've never had to walk out of a cleaning before due to discomfort An office manager was supposed to contact me and nobody ever did. I think if a patient leaves your practice in tears a manager should get in touch with them ASAP. So that part is very disappointing as well. read more

I have been coming here for more than a year now and although staff seems to be trying their best it's just not enough. I've had work done with them and was interested in getting Invisalign. I set up a consultation and Upon getting my scans, Dr. Baquee just pretty much left the room and never came back. I had no definite answers from her and they didn't even schedule my next appointment. I had to call them back and get the ball rolling. The next scheduled appointment, they had me waiting for nearly an hour for a 15 min procedure. I left and found another orthodontist in the area who is charging me HALF OF WHAT THIS OFFICE QUOTED ME FOR IT! Don't come here for your ortho needs. Dr. Baquee means well but she belittles her staff and is very abrupt making for a tense environment for the patients. I hope this helps anyone who needed it. read more

I grew up with a very abrasive dentist so in my latter years I have been hesitant about visiting a dental office. I had a great dentist but moved a few years back so again there was hesitation finding a new dentist. I found Classic Smiles and saw similar stories to mine about patients being scared of the dentist and they came out the other side very pleased. I was able to get an appointment relatively quick and the office was super friendly and made me feel at ease. I had a few issues with a cracked filling they found which required a crown but again was scheduled for a return visit very quickly. I was pleased with the level of attention they pay to the client and making sure you're comfortable. When doing my crown they provided gas which made the visit a breeze. Definitely glad I found Classic Smiles and no more hesitation going to the dentist! read more

Excellent dental care, I found my FL dentist. I've had a toothache for almost a week that worsened the last 2 days into throbbing tooth pain and headache. I called Thursday 10 min before their closing and Shavaugn had an energetic and sweet tone. She did not rush me off the phone. After telling her my dilemma, she said I could come in the next day 1st thing. Unfortunately I couldn't get off work, so she scheduled me for Monday and said she'd call me Friday to see how I was doing and if I could get off. After going into work this am, I was only able to last an hour the pain was so unbearable. So I called the office and they squeezed me in this am. I was seen by Dr. Mikal Baaqee who took time to help me and thoroughly look at my toothache, chart and health background. He gave me options and I went with the implant. Conveniently he was able to pull my tooth out this morning so I wouldn't be in pain over the weekend. His bedside manner is really great, he treats you like he's known you for years. Shavaughn went over my insurance options to make sure I understood what I was paying for by breaking it down. Dr. Baaqee's dental assistant Jackie was so sweet making sure I was comfortable and ok during my exam and tooth extraction. The office is very clean, all the staff is knowledgeable and caring too. The office is clean and the doctor is friendly and informative. My visit was very comfortable and inviting. HOWEVER, they over charge for their services and when you try to question the billing, it's hard to get ahold of anyone. I have insurance, great insurance in fact. I had cavities and after the procedure I paid what the billing lady has told me. Couple months later (after the holidays in fact) I received a bill saying I owed and extra $153. What?!?!? I've tried multiple times to speak with billing and each time she wasn't available and promised she'd call back..... still waiting on that phone call. I thought I finally found my dentist but now I'm left searching again. read more

I REALLY RATE THIS PLACE A BIG FAT ZERO!!! HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE!! STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!!!!! DON'T MAKE THE SAME MISTAKE I MADE!!!! I got some faulty braces (6 month smile) put on, I went for a second opinion because these things were falling apart after 2 weeks... & to my "surprise" well not really, this woman put on cheap brackets that were going to cost me $3,700 total! I had made a payment to them for almost $1,000 and when I called to see what my options were due to the MALPRACTICE, the "mighty" office manager pretty much said I can get Invisalign for $1,700 up front plus monthly payments, or I can come get the things they put on my teeth fixed... I didn't like the options they gave me since the trust was GONE! She then quickly continued to offer $300 back and stop treatment since my "faith" in them was shot! Ugh, DUH! I would think my "faith" in your office is out the window. Seriously there was cement all over my teeth, the brackets were fragile and disgusting.... I was afraid to smile due to the appearance of these things!! When I went to a REAL orthodontist, they opened my eyes to how horrible I was treated and the malpractice I had been a victim of. These people seem to only want your money and take the easy way out of things to not have to rectify a MISTAKE they made. I wasn't even a real "candidate" for the 6- 8 months I was going to have these braces on for, I was misdiagnosed. In reality my treatment needs to be 18 months!! All in all, I learned a lesson the hard way! DO NOT TRUST ANYTHING THAT COMES OUT OF THE MOUTH OF THESE SCAMMERS!!!! THEY LIE, & USE THEIR SO CALLED CREDENTIALS TO SOUND LIKE THEY KNOW WHAT THEY ARE TALKING ABOUT!!! THIS PLACE SHOULD BE SHUT DOWN!! I am taking action against the malpractice because they DID NOT REFUND MY MONEY TO ME!! Oh yeah, I told the "manager" I was going to report them to the BBB and she pretty much said she didn't care... Office is very impressive! Super clean and friendly staff. They seem to have ALOT of people working, so you would see different people every time you entered the office. So there was no consistency. I paid ALOT for my braces and i hated the end result. I'm actually going somewhere else to actually get what i wanted. There's still crowding and gaps in my smile! First, this facility is very pretty inside. They have TVs, comfy chairs and a roomie office. My biggest complaint about this office is the lack of personal care/feeling you get. The dentist speaks so quickly and seems to feel like I should be able to use/understand the same medical jargon she does. The hygienist I had was a little brash in her explanations and was almost demeaning. That's after a $500 discount April special ... I thought that was on the high side and went to another dentist in winter park was quoted a price of $3500 ! with no discount .needless to say I will not be returning here . Also the new patient exam is a waste of time .I got the same X-rays and was told the same thing for free at the other dentist in winter park. Pretty much I'm out of 70 bucks last but not least I didn't get the cleaning I paid for which I was told was included in the new patient exam. read more

If you are like me, and 90% of America, the dentist is the last place you want to go to for a check up. But after moving back to Florida and as luck would have it I broke a tooth eating trail mix. Classic Smiles was close to my house and was able to see me and my wife the same day which reduced my time off of work. We were in and out after the first exam, Dr Mikal talked about the best care for my broken tooth which was to get an implant. So I took his advice and had it done. Here is where it gets better. most of the time the Doc sends you on your way and waits for you to contact them. Not Classic Smiles. I received a call later that afternoon from my Doc not the clerk asking me how I was doing and making sure I was ok. The next day the office called to check up on me to see if I was doing well. I was even able to ask a question after hours that clarified a simple question I had. That is how they treat you like family. Because no one takes care of you like family does. read more

This is the friendliest, most professional staff I have ever come across in any setting. They pay attention to every single concern you have and are always extremely careful. They explain every procedure and move they make which really allows you to feel comfortable by knowing what's going on. They also take time to get to know a little bit about their patients which makes you feel at ease and like you are important to them. I haven't had work done here yet so I will have to come back and update. But I've had a consultation and I will say that I LOVED IT! My biggest things are 1. a super clean office and 2. caring staff. So far Classic Smiles appears to have both! I will be able to tell more over time. But for now I really like it. Only downside is that I've heard that the office is VERY EXPENSIVE! With the way dental insurance is set up these days, that could end up being a big drawback. We shall see... read more
