I had a very disappointing experience at this office. I…read morebroke a tooth on Thursday night and called Friday morning to schedule an appointment. The earliest they could see me was Monday. When I arrived, they charged me $100 for an "exam." However, all that happened was this: the dentist briefly looked at my tooth for less than a minute. She did not clean it, did not examine it properly, did not perform any procedure. I had placed a temporary filling myself to protect the tooth, and she didn't even remove it to actually see the situation. Immediately after, without any proper evaluation, an assistant came in with a treatment plan of over $4,000 for a single tooth (root canal + crown). I found this outrageous since there was no real clinical examination to justify such a high estimate. When I questioned it and asked for my money back, they said they couldn't refund me because they had done an exam. What exam? Paying $100 just to have someone glance at my tooth for a minute and then push an overpriced treatment plan is unacceptable. I felt misled and disrespected. I do not recommend this place to anyone.

I showed up today and the front counter gal said the 16-minute procedure was $495 (but she changed her tune when I told her to look at their own website). However, after waiting almost 1/2 hour, she told me the doctor would need to consult with me, plus I'd have to get x-rays. That's not what I understood from my phone appointment. To her credit they offered me the extra work at no charge, but no dentist should require a full set of x-rays (think lots of radiation) just to do a quickie in-office whitening procedure. This did not cause her to stop or change her technique at all. I ended up stopping her and getting up and leaving my Cleaning within three minutes. I get my teeth cleaned every six months since as long as I can remember so I've had almost 90 cleanings and I've never had to walk out of a cleaning before due to discomfort An office manager was supposed to contact me and nobody ever did. I think if a patient leaves your practice in tears a manager should get in touch with them ASAP. So that part is very disappointing as well.
