Even after moving an hour away, I will still drive back to have my kids see a dentist office that we trust and they are familiar with. The set up is great. My kids know that the dentist and their team will walk them through everything that is about to happen to help keep them informed. They are treated as any patient should be - the ones who are talked to, the ones who are asked questions, and not just talked about. I can not brag enough about Windermere Pediatric Dentistry!!!! Who likes the dentist? As a child I hated to go, even as an adult I dread my 6 months appointment. Kristen and Dr. has been amazing! Very helpful, understanding and great with kids. My kids loves coming for their checkup. The office is clean, colorful and definitely kid friendly. I walked in this morning and was greeted with a smile and was advised the doctor was running behind as our regular doctor had an emergency. I can't tell you how much I appreciated the information. The kids understood we would be here just a little longer and was very patient. Kristen called us back, took x-rays, cleaned and we saw the doctor all without tears as they got to watch their show in the interim. Once it's all over the girls received a little swag bag with a toothbrush, toothpaste and floss. To make it better since they were well behaved they receive a coin to get a neat little toy from the front. Overall, it's always a great experience and will continue to re with the girls. read more

They lied, deceived me and stopped my daughter's treatment in the middle for a futile reason.... And after seeing the huge amount of negative reviews on google, it's strange that instead of improving the service they lie to the customers. To remove negative reviews you should talk to the customer and propose a solution instead of cheating and punishing children. I scheduled my daughter's visit in 2021 with 3 months in advance, I went on the first visit to start the treatment and the second visit was scheduled, on the way back from the second visit to the clinic I was not allowed to enter the room which was totally different from first time and I was taken completely by surprise and when trying to talk to the person who was in the reception she was very rude, but Okay, I didn't have much choice did I? After waiting so long for a treatment she needed! So on the third visit they called me and informed me that the clinic would no longer accept my MCNA insurance because your clinic would no longer work with this insurance this was in 2021 which I found out today is a lie and the receptionist told it to me because of a review that I did on Facebook or Google review regarding the fact that the clinic did not allowed me and my daughter into the treatment room , so instead of you explaining your policy to customers, you lied to me, denying me the basic right to carry out the treatment or at least finish it the treatment she had been waiting for months to do! Today I called because my husband only speaks Portuguese and he would probably have to take her and this was the only place I found with a Portuguese-speaking dentist (she always provided very good service) so I called today to make an appointment and I thought it was strange when she told me that accepted my insurance but she was rude and refused to accept my daughter's appointment, I immediately sent an email too the clinic asking for an appointment because I didn't understand, the second person called me and explained that this was all because of my review on Google - Facebook and even she insisted in reading the review completely to me in the phone, so only at that moment did I understand that the receptionist had lied to me a year ago and again on the phone to deny in schedule it because an online evaluation, harming my daughter's health. I feel totally shocked, because I even made it clear on the phone that I had never heard about parents being forbidden to follow the child but that's okay, I agreed in waiting in the waiting room and even so she said that because of my evaluation the clinic refuse treatment! I don't even know if refusing a treatment for a child for a reason like that is legal but I do know that stopping treatment in the middle leaving a child in pain and harming her health is definitely not legal. BEWARE... they just want your money, they don't care about your kids health or teeth. They try to get you to take xrays every single time you go in for a cleaning every six months even when not necessary. They canceled my appointment I had made months ahead of time and then the doctor wouldn't see my kids because I didn't give permission to get new xrays, the doctors here don't even face you and send the secretary. Assistance had no care or patient with my 5 year old who has gag reflexes and had a hard time taking x-ray pictures. Not thorough explanation on summary of visit report. Will not be going here anymore and please if you have young children do not take them here. Great experience at this Pediatric Dental office from beginning to end. All of the staff was very courteous and professional, and we were accommodated on all of our requests for appointment times with no issues. The doctor went over the results from the check up and cleaning, as well as making recommendations to keeping out little ones teeth as healthy as they are. Completely wasted hours of our time(months of waiting for appts.) Wasted two appointments trying to get a crown on my sons tooth and she never did it, the second appt she did a filling and didn't want to spend the time to do the crown which was the most important thing that needed to be fixed. Dealing with them has been extremely frustrating. If there is another dentist you could use I would suggest that instead. read more

Don't make an appointment with this dental practice. They are disorganized and cancel your appointments with little of no notice. I had an appointment for a Tuesday for my child and arranged to pick both my children up early from school and rearranged my work schedule, I was called 2 hours before appointment to be informed my child's appointment was cancelled due to an office emergency. O.K. Rescheduled for two days later ... Thursday. Showed up for appointment on time. Was told appointment was cancelled due to Dentist being sick. Was told that everyone was called including me ... I received no call and offered to show my call history on my cell but the assistant office manager refused to look at it. Orthodontist in the office but he refused to help in any way because he was an Orthodontist and not a dentist. Not once did I receive an apology. When I asked what they could do for me they told me "nothing". This dental practice is a sick joke. read more

I do not recommend this office for orthodontics. I loved this dental office for my kids when we first started going there a few years ago. My couple of experiences with Dr. Arruda was good. My issue is with the new orthodontist there now. The previous orthodontist, Dr Smith, was very personable and knowledgeable. He would explain the process to me and my son after getting his braces placed and during and after every appointment. The new orthodontist, Dr V?, seems incompetent. I was told from the beginning that it was important to contact the office whenever a bracket came off or there were any other issues with my son's braces. While my son is getting his tightenings monthly, this new orthodontist seems to not even be able to keep the brackets on. Once a bracket comes off and he can't get them to stay he just tells me that he will just keep it off until the next appointment a month later. At this time, my son is without a bracket that will close the last remaining gaps because the orthodontist could not get the bracket back on. I tried contacting the Orlando office to try and switch but was told they were no longer affiliated with this office. I am so over this and ready for this experience to be over! read more
