I was wearing retainers, and only able to eat because of them. The office offered no assistance in making the appointment. I explained to him that our family was experiencing a life threatening medical situation with our small grandchild. I needed their help so I could get back to them. I decided to chuck my dental insurance and go to a dentist I found rather than one they told me to see. First I actually went in person to see the facility and get their pricing. The receptionist, Haydee, was SO nice. She even tried to call my dental insurance for me (they never answered) and offered to watch my son during my dental appointment if I couldn't get a sitter. My actual appointment was great. The entire thing, exam and cleaning, took about 45 minutes. There was no talk of needing an appointment for an exam and a different one for a cleaning like the two other places I'd been. I had my X-rays sent over from a previous dentist so I didn't need those again. Dr. Vito did his exam first and Cindy did my cleaning. The cleaning was gentle and she got the coffee stain off my front teeth. I didn't get pressured whatsoever to buy more services and feel I can trust Dr. Vito's advice in the future.
