We've sampled quite a bit on the menu (kids' chicken tender and fries meal, chimichanga, tortilla soup, fajitas, taco salad with grilled shrimp, and of course salsa and chips. Again, nothing incredibly unique but pretty standard quality Mexican food and options. A few reviews mentioned service, and I wouldn't criticize it honestly. Everyone has been nice, they appear to be slow with taking our order and bringing our food, however, they've been busy every time we've been here, so it would make sense to take a little longer. The portions were enough to take with us since we would be arriving in Florida late and had to clear 8 hrs before we took over our buses. The buffet itself was a little bit on the smaller side, with two hot food bars and one cold one. However, there was also a stir-fry station and sushi. The food appeared to be fresh, but were the basic offerings from a typical Asian buffet. There were crab legs but they did not look very appetizing. However, the frog legs and the chicken wings were fresh out of the deep fryer when I was there, and were probably the best items on the buffet. Staff regularly tended to the buffet to ensure that it stayed fresh and my server made sure my drink was always filled. There is a freezer in the front filled with little single-serving cups of ice cream that reminded me of the school cafeteria when I was in grade school. The buffet is a bit on the pricey side compared to others of the same caliber. However, the service is excellent which it why I gave it 4 stars instead of three. The King Buffet is a little bit out of the way for me, but I would consider going back the next time I am in Jennings.

As a former restaurant manager myself, I know how situations like this should be handled--with care, professionalism, and at the very least a sincere apology. The manager, Kaylan, was rude and didn't even remove the plate from our table. The whole interaction left a bad taste in my mouth, and unfortunately, we won't be returning. UPDATE: The General Manager Joshua Spell made the matter right with a sincere apology letter and gift card, and reassured us that the manager who attended to the matter that night would be trained on how to handle the situation better in the future. I agreed it was a learning experience and was very grateful for the way Josh made it right. Thank yo adn we will give Fezzo's another shot.
