Just passing thru and grabbed some "General Chicken". It was freshly prepared, hot and ready a couple minutes before promised. They were busy with mostly takeout orders. Service was friendly and prices were good. The rice was just brown rice tho- not fried rice, which I was a little disappointed to see but it was still good. I did a call in order for 6 PM got there and had to wait for 10 minutes to get to the window to pay when I got to the window they told me they were only excepting cash no credit card no check told me to go to an ATM and then come back to the window I went to the ATM got the cash came back to the window and had to wait another 30 minutes to get my food terrible. read more

The food is great only if you drive up and order. The one star is only for the rude cashier, NOT the food. I love the food, always fresh and very plentiful! Never had an issue with my food quality. One time I did call my order in, that night, they failed to tell us over the phone it was cash only, so I go to the ATM get the cash, come back. The lady said she'd run my food out to me since I had been waiting. Mind you the cars in the drive thru were wrapped around the building going down the road. Stood outside for 30 minutes only to be noticed by that same lady 3 times and once by a fella who walked off I guess on his break and ignored. We called and cancelled our order and left. Yesterday we decided to use the drive thru to order. That same lady was just as rude if not more this time around. When I had a question of substitution in my food she told me no as of I asked the stupidest question in the world. Finally got my food and barely got a thank you shoved our food at us and slammed her window shut. The food is and has always been too notch, but they really need to get rid of that lady who handles the orders and window service. She's not a good server whatsoever. I don't eat Chinese food often but when I do I go to General Wok. The food that I have tried and enjoyed was the General Chicken, House Lo Mein, Shrimp fried rice, egg rolls. I can't remember the exact name but another dish I liked had lobster sauce, if you like something a little spicy then you will enjoy that one. The portions are huge. read more

We have general wok every time we visit from NC. It's not the absolute best Chinese food we've ever had, but it's still tasty and huge portions. They are fast and nice and priced phenomenally. It's a place we miss when we're in NC, that earns a 5 star review in my book. read more

Was so disappointed. Love their food but don't like certain ingredients (ex: mushrooms) always ask for it to be made with no mushrooms. Got home and opened box and had to pick out literally 1 cup of mushrooms. Where more mushrooms than anything else. Also don't appreciate when I order "without" the lady at register rolls her eyes and says "oh God". Won't be back since I am inconveniencing them so much.
