3.5 to 3.8 stars. The food was good for the price. We were greeted at the door. Our waitress Kay was nice and helpful. The place was a bit dark (where we sat) and somewhat run down, especially the women's bathroom. The food was warm, fair selection of sushi that was included in the price. Driving through on my way to New Orleans and was hungry. Thought, Buffett that way I can get a little of everything. Nope. Never here again. Hostess too busy on her cell phone to talk to you. I wanted to know how it works, price, etc. Same attitude when I went to pay. It's only noon so you would think the food would be hot and fresh, it's not. Sushi is dry and crunchy rice. Always greeted at the door. The feel of this place is interesting, it's fun but there's a lot to look at. My favorite part of the decor is the chandelier above the buffet. This female owner is rude! I frequent this establishment at least 2-3 times a month. I normally treat my acquaintances to the buffet. She has told my guests not to eat all of the crab legs. She told me that on copious occasions. That's why I go there to consume the seafood and crab legs. I don't waste food, I only eat what I like. In my last and quite honestly final visit, she called me a pig in her native tongue!!!! She told me I needed to be seated before I could obtain a plate! It's a buffet lady, not Ruth Chris! I did NOT see a sign that said wait to be seated. The last time I checked at a buffet you can eat all you want, if things have changed, please someone properly and promptly inform me. Our family has been enjoying China Dragon for over 15 years. The service is always excellent and everyone is very nice and friendly. All of their dishes are homemade and fresh. My favorites are butter shrimp which is so buttery and rich garlic flavor along with perfectly cooked broccoli that is soaked with the rich sauce! Yum. The Szechuan bean curd, extra spicy. Where to begin. Perfectly fried firm bean curd in a rich dark sauce with vegetables. Its balanced with their perfectly cooked white rice. China Dragon is a very good restaurant with very fresh,delicious,and inexpensive food.Weekday lunch is $6.99 and dinner is $9.99 including seafood such as sushi,boiled shrimp,fried shrimp,and at dinner time there is crawfish,and weekends there is snow crab,boil crawfish,and a lot of other seafood for only $12.99 what a cheap price.I had been there for 14 years and they keep making better and better food. Every time I go there they are very very busy and every people I talk with they said it was very good.My whole family went to that restaurant and they enjoyed it. People on the reviews think it is very expensive but I think it's very cheap. One time it was my friend's son's birthday and the waitress made some cake for him and turned on a birthday song for him. Overpriced food. Most unfriendly bunch of people I have ever met. Extremely rude to the customers. Will curse you out in Chinese right in front of your face and smile. Just horrible experience. Very clean and family run establishment. You can usually find the husband and wife working, as well as their son entertaining the patrons. The food is fresh and they have a pretty extensive sushi selection for a chinese buffet. Best place in Crowley for chinese cuisine! read more
