By the time our food finally arrived, the restaurant was nearly empty. To make matters worse, the $20 fried gator po'boy initially arrived cold and rubbery, and had to be sent back. Thankfully, when it was remade, it was everything it should have been: hot, crispy on the outside, tender and juicy within, and bursting with flavor -- easily the highlight of the meal. Adding to the frustration, our appetizer, which had been ordered with our drinks, wasn't brought out until we were nearly done eating. That said, if you're fortunate enough to receive your food hot and in a timely manner, the kitchen clearly has the potential to impress. I might consider giving the place one more try for the food alone -- but given the poor service, it's unlikely. Hence, the one-star review.
