First of all, finding this spot was like a game of where's Waldo, lol. Maybe it's because we were hungry and our brains weren't firing on all cylinders, but it took us a good 10 minutes of searching. So, after all of the zigging and zagging, I had worked up even more of an appetite and was going to be so sad if it wasn't good. Luckily it was worth the journey. Three words: churro iced latte. To know me is to know I love a cinnamon and sugar moment, so this was right up my alley and it was GOOD. Coffee traditionalists, unclench your jaw, I promise it's a not an overly sweet mess. Those who prefer a little coffee to go with their cream, I promise it's not too bitter or strong. It was well balanced, you could tell the coffee was good quality, and the sweetness was just right. Very solid drink. But let's get to the real reason we were here--the food. I got the cheddar herb biscuit Benedict, tomato, spinach, avocado, poached eggs and hollandaise with bacon on the side, and it was very tasty. It came with a side of hash browns, but they kindly allowed me to sub them out for grits. As a southern girl I can confidently say those grits were some of the best restaurant grits I've ever had. I didn't need to add any butter or salt, they were the perfect consistency, and just cheesy enough. That cheddar biscuit was fire and a great medium for the other ingredients and held up well and didn't get soggy at all. We also got the banana bread french toast and I loved it! We got the half size and that was still more than enough to share. It's a super cute spot with an adorable patio. It was before noon, so the day hadn't reached its peak temperature, so we opted to sit outside. We had come from Louisiana, so while it was still warm, it was nowhere near as hot as it was at home, so we enjoyed being able to dine al fresco without sweating bullets. We also tried the blossoms and vines cocktail. It's kind of like a super fancy mimosa with peach orange blossom vodka, st. Germaine, orange juice, and topped with Prosecco. I placed the order on Uber eats and arrive about 20 minutes later to pick it up only for them to tell me they don't have it because they sold out. No one thought to call me and let me know? It's not like the order didn't come through b/c they had it in their system. No one thought to mark the steak and eggs as unavailable in ubereats? The pink-haired lady was apathetic and didn't seem to acknowledge the issue or care. She told me I have to deal with uber to get my money back and shrugged the situation off. The ambiance is lovely as the restaurant sits among the Downtown buildings and is generously decorated with plants and modern interiors. Our server Greg was incredibly kind helping us navigate the menu and checking up on us regularly. They really do a number with the coffee and the jam, as their name suggests. The coffee is fresh and packs a full punch of aroma and flavor. The same is true of the jam. Regarding the food, it is clear that it is prepared carefully with great ingredients. But the food was unfortunately bland, significantly lacking in flavors aside from cheese and sauces already on the dishes. I walk by this restaurant every time I'm in Las Olas since it's close to my job. I finally decided to go with a coworker and I really enjoyed it. We grabbed some coffees to drink there as we caught up and then we got a classic breakfast with eggs and bacon. Everything was cooked to perfection. It's really got a homie feel and you have the option of sitting inside and outside, so when and if it ever gets cold, you can make your way to the outside. The breakfast is reasonably priced, I would say $$. I will be back as there are good options and the coffee is what really won me over as they have the best quality coffer in the area. read more

The wait staff is polite and professional. As their hours are from 7:30 AM to 3:00 PM, it's a breakfast and lunch diner. They have a really good daily menu together with a special weekend menu. It has all of the egg benedict classics, all sorts of sandwiches, salads, omelets, bowls, and even a section of "Hearty & Health." As their name would imply, they have a big emphasis on Well's coffee with some 8 different types including latte and mocha. I had a cup of their Americano and would say it's better than the same at Starbucks. And for breakfast, I had their American Omelet which was nicely done with a white America cheese, bacon, and caramelized onion, while Beloved had Smoked Salmon Benedict with a capered hollandaise sauce, which we both thought was very good and at bargain prices. What a huge disappointment. So many wonderful reviews, but sad to say this isn't one of them. Bottom line the service doesn't exist, you grow old waiting for your food, and they skimp on the best parts - one slice of bacon broken in two. Starting with the good is their coffee and the freshly squeezed OJ. Though they're both expensive. The outside seating is lovely. On to the rest...Starting with the food, the banana bread while mighty in portions tasted like it was at least a day old - dry and not much flavor except the coconut butter that was packed on top. Then we had the tacos and the corned beef bowl. The bowl was the better of the two, but they were really skimpy on the corned beef. The tacos with bacon was a joke. One strip of bacon broken in half and the tiniest dollop of guacamole. Come on! Our service was non existent, Not including the 45 min wait we were there for another 2 hours because the service was so slow. Just waiting to get the check we played two hands of cards. My sister was in town and we stopped by for breakfast spontaneously on a weekday. It wasn't too busy and we got seated on the patio immediately. Service was attentive and our food and drinks came out quickly. We both loved the drinks and bowls that we ordered. The sourdough toast was thick and fluffy and really really good. Our parking in the structure behind was validated too which was nice. It is touch expensive for breakfast, but pretty standard for downtown. Would definitely return in the future! read more

Very cool breakfast place with a large selection of nice foods. I had egg white omelet and my husband had a bagel. He also had decaf cappuccino and was very good. I had some hot tea. I don't like to write reviews that are poor because I believe it to be a negative waste of time. But some things to note. The wait was long. But it was a Saturday morning, so not a reason to dock stars. Some places you have to wait and that was made clear from the beginning. So this was not the issue. The issue was all the food came out lukewarm. The eggs were overcooked for the eggs Benedict (which defeats the whole purpose of the dish if you ask me.) All the coffee was far too sweet. More like cream with a splash of coffee. The place looked under staffed so I take all of this could be a direct result from that. But at the end of the day. No matter the place. If you go to a breakfast spot coffee should taste like coffee and eggs should be cooked properly. If those two things are not done correctly then nothing else can really save it. But you add the long wait and lack luster service. Then well you get a disappointing review. read more

Nothing stands out to make me want to come back to downtown to go here. Definitely got the I can make this at home vibe. I went here for a work lunch and they were really slow. Considering where they are situated, and the fact they would want to cater to a "lunch hour" of the many businesspeople in the area, I was surprised. I had to rush through my food and run out on my party to get back on time. It was an easy 15 minutes to be seated and to order and another 30 to get our food. The food was good, but not spectacular, and not quality enough to make their prices justifiable. The bread and chicken were the star of the chicken cutlet sandwich, but it needed a sauce to really set it off. I ordered the cheese grits, which I found rather lumpy, and not cheesy, rather they just had a pinch of cheese melted on top of plain grits. Some would argue that is cheese grits, but if you are southern at all, you know it's not. I wouldn't mind coming back here if someone else wanted to, but also feel like there are better options in the area and in the price range. My sandwich, an ice tea, and tip ran me over $25 for lunch. read more

I'm giving it four stars only because it took me a while to get someone to take my order. I have to say they were jammed when I came. Also it's loud. you can sit at the counter which really gives me points. I love to sit at the counter, especially when there's no other place to sit, and they have seats at the counter. A big plus for me is they don't use packaged butter or jam they give it to you in a little saucer. I love it. I did notice that they prepped things in plastic and then they throw the container away. they could use it again I guess maybe there's some rules that I don't know. Against that I had poached eggs with hashbrowns. And bacon which I hardly ever get. I got it because it was included in the $15 for my breakfast. And they serve a big one slice of rye toast but it'sthick sliced so it was unusual, and the poached eggs were perfect and the hash browns is like a cake that was perfect and the bacon was Really good bacon. I think people think you can't mess up bacon but if you don't get your the right kind it will mess up your stomach like it messes with mine. I just saw somebody carrying ice to the restaurant because their ice machine is somewhere else that must be a big drag for the people that work there Great for breakfast great for two people maybe 3 or 4 they have great tables. Came for a quick early breakfast while on vacation. Loved this little upscale diner. We started off with the churro iced latte and the maple iced shaken espresso that came with candied bacon . Initially I had ordered the seasonal pumpkin cold brew and hated it, so I exchanged for the churro Iced latter and it was spectacular. The maple shaken espresso was better. Very similar to the brown sugar shaken espresso from Starbucks but more artisanal . You can make any coffee drink *dirty* and add a paired shot of alcohol if you're planning on starting your day drinking at breakfast. I had the taco eggs which were awesome and my husband had the breakfast sandwich, he loved it. I would recommend coming here and would even come back for lunch or another breakfast. read more

They put a lot of spinach and mushrooms which is awesome but what to do when spinach has no taste and neither do mushrooms. They had their special called Oscar fillet. Check the pictures that I uploaded neither it looks anything like the picture that they had kept on the table and again had no taste. The drinks again were so basic. Only the names of drinks were fancy. They did not advertise anywhere that Oscar fillet was $42 and it is my mistake too that I did not ask. Any which ways it would have been ok if the food was tasty. We went there on a Saturday at 11AM, we were 2 and were given a 50 minutes wait. They have an online system that will show your position in the line, which is handy. The wait was longer than expected, total wait time was 1h10. I was a bit annoyed by the fact that many tables were empty. Which might be a reason why the wait was so long? The waiters was fast to get our order in, but it took another 40 minutes to get the food. The waiters apologized but that was still a bad experience. The coffee was surprisingly good for a breakfast place. They have Wells which is the best coffee in town. The food was fine, but far from being worth the wait. Nothing special at all. The service is great, we had a super sweet and attentive waiter. The food was hearty and kept my boyfriend and I full. We ordered with our eyes and couldn't even finish. I started by ordered an iced salted caramel latte. Usually I judge a breakfast spot by how good the coffee is and this place did not disappoint me! Each food and drink item we ordered was on point. My wife and I split the Nutella French Toast which was a perfect start to the meal. The probiotic drink I ordered was refreshing exactly as I hoped it would be from the description. Highly recommend the crispy chicken biscuit sandwich. A delicious breakfast sandwich and I even had it without egg (unfortunate allergy) and it hit the spot and taste buds. Capped it off with a maple bacon coffee. We've tried to come her a few times before but seems to get crowded at times. So, we got up early this Sunday morning to get in before going to church. The hostess gave a great first impression of how our experience was about to go. She was so polite and accommodating to our requests. The ambiance of the outdoor seating paired with this gorgeous South Florida weather made us feel comfortable and relaxed for the early morning. The menu isn't overcrowded with choices, but there is something for everyone's taste and dietary requirements. Lucas, our server, gave us some excellent recommendations, and we went with them. Everything was literally the most amazing breakfast we've had in a long time. We stopped the manager, Jesse, on our way out to pay a compliment to the kitchen, to Lucas, and to the hostess. Friends are in town visiting and they picked the place because it was near where they were staying. It was okay. The pancake special was some kind of lemony blueberry concoction that one of our party loved. It wasn't what she originally wanted but the waiter steered her toward it because it was the special. He sounded a little pushy to me, but I don't eat anything lemony, so I stayed out of it. I had eggs, sausage, hash browns and an English muffin. It was good. Everything was cooked properly. I asked for a cup of tea, but the only black tea they had was Earl Grey. How can you not have black tea? That should be in every kitchen. Also, don't try adding more hot water to the cup. Tea bags are only used once. You refill the coffee, refill the tea. Not the hot water. It's not the same. Why do I have to be the one to teach this? And when you bring out the food, bring the butter and jelly for the English muffins with it. That really should be a no-brainer. One of our party ordered an iced coffee and that took a very long time to get to the table. Granted it was Sunday morning and the place was busy, but I could have made it in less time than they did and I don't even know how. So, it was good. Not great, but good. The weather was not helping as it was pouring outside and everyone wanted to be seated quickly. Service was also good our server was friendly The food was basic they do have some pretty interesting choices. I had the classic breakfast 2 eggs, multigrain toast, and ham with Grits but was not a fan of the grits the cheese it had inside was not good it took away from enjoying the grits as it was too overpowering. My daughter had the Taco Eggs and she enjoyed them. For beverages, I had the salted caramel cappuccino which I didn't enjoy as much due to it being more whipped cream than cappuccino. My daughter had the Pistachio Paradise and she enjoyed it very much. I will definitely come back as there are so many choices on the menu I would like to try. Recommended. read more
