Horrific This place is a complete disaster. I won't even go into too many details because I don't want to waste anymore of my time with these people. My first visit there I ended up standing at the window while the two office ladies just chatted and stared at me for 10 minutes until some random person told me to walk around the corner to the other window. There, the same ladies decided to address me. But as I was waiting I saw the doctor walk in briefly looking disheveled and unpresentable which made me uncomfortable so I ended up leaving. When I changed my PCP with my insurance company, there was a 30 day waiting period so I ended up making another appointment with Boutros. This time, 10 minutes past my appointment time, even though I was there early enough to finish the initial paperwork, (and no one in the waiting room and they told me over the phone that they were wide open all day - another red flag for me) they ask me for my co-pay in cash. Cash?! Not only do they have stickers on their office window saying they accept all major credit cards, but my appointment was for a routine check up. Which is FREE for everyone with insurance! I told them that I would be using my HSA card and also can't they just bill my insurance company anyway? They told me to go to the 7-11 and get cash for them (?!!). That doesn't seem like a legit doctor's office to me. I also got harassed by a security guard outside their office while I was on the phone with my insurance company filing a complaint. TERRIBLE DOCTOR AND STAFF!!! Disrespectful , unorganized, unprofessional and unhelpful.When trying to call the office during their office hours it goes to voicemail 90% of the time. I had the worst time with them before and after my surgery. They forgot to do one of the tests and asked me to go back. When I called back for the results 4 days after, I was told that they forgot to send it to lab and I needed the approval to be able to schedule the surgery. After surgery I called asking for referral for physical therapy, every time they gave me a different answer. First they said that he'll call me back which didn't happen. Then I called and was put on hold for 30 minutes which I found out she had put me on hold and been to lunch without letting me know. I called after their lunch time and was told that the referral specialist was out for the day and call back tomorrow. I called them back the next day to ask again. They took the information of the doctor I needed referral for and said they'll send it. I called by the next day to followup the status and was told the referral wasn't sent at all. Every time I called they gave me a different answer and when I confronted one of the staff Maria about it and told her how I have stiffness and I need to start PT ASAP she hung up on me. Besides my awful experience they only accept cash and have no ATM which is ridiculous. Dr. Boutros is far away the worst doctor I've ever been to in my 41 years of seeing doctors. I've seen him twice now so it wasn't just a bad day. He's rude, short, unsympathetic, unknowledgeable, and bar none the worst listener I've ever confronted when it comes to doctors. There's a reason he has enough free time to accept walk-ins, and there's a reason you can see him so quickly when making an appointment. My actual grade is 0/5 stars. If there were a Yelp option for " " Are You Kidding me ??" Minus negative stars , then this medical office is the example for that rating . There aren't enough adjectives to describe how messed up this medical office is. I have a son who was a patient at this office and his father and I did not realize how things were because he had annual visits . However, we observed and experienced total incompetence and unprofessionalism recently with frequent visits for referrals for Specialists . Red flags were waving rapidly when the office manager filled out a medical form that we gave her that the doctor is supposed to complete and sign . When it was time for this doctor to see my son , he did not examine him. He didn't have the form that the office staff member had completed and he proceeded to tell me that in a bothered tone ( directed at her) - this is now our concern that she mishandles or misplaces our son's paperwork ) . He also said that he would read the paperwork that we provided for him later as to why we were asking for these referrals. Read later ? I don't think so ! I We were not leaving without the required completed and signed form so we had to wait extra time for him to find the medical form to sign and I requested copies . If he took the time to read my son's medical chart , (and he was not a new patient by the way ) , then he would know why we are asking for referrals!!! Let's see .. he is the one with a medical degree for 40'years and he doesn't see the obvious reason for referrals ?? . Then he went into bratty victim mode and suddenly said that he doesn't know why everyone is dumping everything on him to do referrals for specialists when our son's other doctors should do the referrals. Yeah, okay .., The office staff who processes the referrals wrote the updated information that we provided and said that she would call the Insurance company and the process takes 7-10 business days . My son had another appointment the following week and when I checked the status of the referrals with another office worker , she did not see any updates in the computer system and I was concerned and I confirmed with her the mailing address. Since then , more than 10 days later , I called the office mid morning and no one answered the phone twice even after waiting 10 minutes . In the third call , I was placed on hold for 15 minutes and I hung up and called again . This is when I was placed on another 10 minute hold and she returned with some bs that she could not find our son's medical chart ! Then she asked for me for my phone number and to give her " 30 minutes " to find it and get back to me with the status . Once again , Red flags waving again . No return phone call , .!Then hours later , I received multiple unknown phone calls that I eventually answered . It was this same officer worker , who was responsible for processing referrals , calling from her personal mobile phone (really ??) sounding rushed and clueless saying that she needed to know the reason for the referrals and that the Insurance company was on the other line . If she read the medical notes two weeks ago when the referrals should have been processed , then she would have known the details . I told her that we were on our way to the office and she can ask me any questions at that time . It was 2:15 pm - She hesitated and said that we should arrive before 3:00 pm because the " office would be closing " . Yet anywhere online if you search , the office hours are 9;00 am - 5:30 pm . Once I questioned /called her out for those office hours her incompetence for not calling me back , she said that they are not required to call back patients( professional medical doctors and offices actually do contact their patients if they request a call back and they deserve status updates on their medical paperwork , so that's when she confirmed for us as parents who care about our son's health - that they aren't on that level - yet she had asked me for my phone number 5 hours prior to give us updates - Yeah , okay .. She kept asking me the reason for the referrals and to try to prevent us from arriving at the medical office to catch them in their unprofessional setting and she text me that the office was suddenly closed . Beyond pathetic at this point .., Do we expect a call from them moving forward ? -No Are we going to put our son's healthcare in jeopardy with dealing with these backwards people ? - No If you value your health and want a medical office that doesn't misplace your confidential medical records,, processes your referrals in a timely manner and want to deal with intelligent , professional and caring people, seek medical care elsewhere . read more

Very rude front staff Doctor won't write refills for regular prescriptions because he wants you to have to come back in to charge more visits. I have had an albuterol inhaler for years now and its like some kind of game. Not appreciated when its a pandemic and avoiding the doctors office is helping lower my chances of catching the infection that affects people with lung problems like me worse. Never reads my chart I have 1 allergy sulfa drugs He has tried on a few occasions to prescribe me sulfa and I catch it at the pharmacy before I leave. Today though he was very rude with me about it. Dr. Boutros has been my GP for over 10 years and this location is where I have always gone. The nurses and doctors do a good job considering how full the waiting room is every time I go. Think twice about visiting Dr. Boutros. Seeing him has been the worst medical experience I have ever had starting from the decaying waiting room and unprofessional staff to the even filthier lab coat that the doctor was wearing when he finally saw me. Sadly the impression is that the doctor and his staff take no pride in their work. Dr. Boutros was dismissive when I asked questions. No one in his offices was helpful or showed even the slightest compassion. The doctor was supposed to provide a referral for a specialist but he or his staff completely batched the paperwork which created delays and my medical condition getting worse. I am not someone who writes reviews, and decided I would just never return there for medical attention. However, I am now very compelled to write this review because several weeks later I had to return to Dr. Boutros to ask for my medical history. His office kept me hanging for two weeks despite several phone calls and two personal visits to the office every time giving me some different excuse as to why it was taking so long. Finally, the doctor and his staff outright refused to provide this information saying "It is not our responsibility to provide you such information." I was shocked. It was finally revealed that they could not find my chart, which means they somehow lost both paper and electronic copies of my records. I just can't see any reason to see Dr. Boutros. read more

Dr. Jason Boutros had been our doctor for years. Not sure why my parents continued to go to his office but I followed their steps until I finally changed PCP after one year. Boutros is easy to talk to and he quickly approved the referrals you ask for BUT there are many continuously wrong things with him. After blood work, he barely goes over my chart unless he occasionally mumbles that one thing or another is too high or too low. My mom had high blood sugar for years and he never mentioned it until she "suddenly" developed diabetes. He was charging my parents a high copay which they did not question, only for me to have to call the insurance and find out Boutros is no longer in their network - Thank you for the heads up. Many times that I have gone to see Boutros, I have been seen by a black nurse/doctor. She is very friendly, quick to see me and very frank (note: some may find her a little unprofessional but i preferred her over Boutros). The staff at the reception area are incompetent. I waited almost 4 months for them to REQUEST a referral. I had to do their job by calling many times to ask and remind them to request the referral. The referral person, was very short with me and didn't "appreciate" me calling daily so eventually she stopped receiving my calls. Boutros' medical group, Exceptional Care, are also very very incompetent. They referred me to an ENT that was an hour away from my home because according to them "they are the only option". I requested an allergy test which took over 5 months to get straight and still, they did not figure things out before I finally left that medical group and Boutros. (I was referred to an allergy specialist, again over an hour away, and was told they were the ONLY OPTION. I called the allergy specialist, only to find out the dr I was referred too did not work at that location and it was a pediatric location only - I AM 26 YEARS OLD! I call Exceptional Care and they refer me to another specialist - What happened to there only being one option??) Point is, Dr Boutros is not a great fit for anyone, old or young. Their offices are very outdated and dirty. His staff is completely incompetent and lag on their work and the medical group they use is just as incompetent and lazy. read more

I don't know why only 3 stars but this office is a 10 star to me! Amazing staff! Maria is outstanding and a serious mutli tasker! I mean today she's checking me in, and on the phone and talking to a nurse. I was pleasantly greeted by her but shocked at her skill level! She's amazing!!! I know customer service, being a restaurant manager, we live and die by are yelps. People can be very unfair. I try and only yelp good experiences. But I have some bad reviews. That being said in customer service industry, you only hear what u did wrong. No positive remarks. I believe in telling when someone or a business knocked your expectations outta da park. Dr boutros is very charming and could be a comedian if he wanted. I rarely see him, talk rarely. But he hired a nurse practitioner, If you don't know what that is. Horrible. Several times when I called I was put on hold and some times I had to wait for 1 hour, for NOTHING! sometimes they hung up on me after putting on hold! Recently I decided to findout what is m blood type, I was referred to a laboratory. More than 3 weeks after giving blood test nobody called me and I decided to call Doctors office. Apparently I was supposed to make an appointment with the doctor, because they don't call, and they don't give results over the phone. So just to get the result I have to take time from work and come sit at least 1 hour waiting to be called in (with appointment). GREAT!!! Will change the doctor! read more

Too bad this is just another crappy doctor in a crappy building that makes you wait four hours just to get into a room, then you usually wait another hour or so to see the doctor for less than ten minutes. He just blasts through his patients without really listening or taking the time to properly diagnose the patient. The first time I came here, the nurses did not wear gloves handling and extracting blood. I should've gotten pictures and reported them to the health department. The nurse who drew my blood didn't wash her hands or wear gloves and was touching the cotton ball all over before placing it in the blood drawing site. Just last Thursday, I came in because of what looked like strep throat. Like always I have to self diagnose and give Dr Boutros cues and ideas about what to do as a doctor. He wasn't going to do a throat culture with strep test, he just prescribed me some antibiotics after quickly looking in my throat. I had to ask for the throat culture. Then he prescribed me penicillin, which is in my chart that I'm highly allergic to it! I've been coming here for almost two years! I had to get the pharmacist to call them and get the prescription changed. I've been here in the past for strep throat and got azithromycin before. They prescribed the same thing and it didn't work, probably because the dose was the smallest possible, meaning now the strain is resultant to it and I'll need a much stronger antibiotic to kill it. So now I'm here again today and they tell me they didn't do the test on the culture they took. Do not visit this place, find somewhere else because you will not receive proper care here. read more

MURDER! My mother wasn't feeling well and had trouble breathing. She lost 10 pounds almost iver night. She went to Dr. Boutros three times in one week. He told her he would get her a referral she waited a week for it. The next week she had a massive heart attack and DIED. My father wasn't feeling well I told him to go to the doctor have them check his blood pressure because his symptoms were leaning toward that also he has a history of high blood pressure. He went on a Monday they said his blood pressure was 120/80 which is never the case with my father. They told him to quick smoking and sent him home. Wednesday morning he suffered a stroke. Luckily he is alive but he isn't all there and requires someone to take care of him. read more

The staff is all excellent and very friendly, and the Dr. himself is easily one of the nicest physicians I've ever encountered. This is one of the worst places you can ever go for medical care. People go because you could see the doctor for a cheap price and get a prescription for anything. I strongly recommend that you see a whole different doctor if you have a condition that needs to be managed because he won't care enough to do it correctly. They just moved over to a new location. The last one was so nasty and smelly I would not allow them to touch me with a needle to draw my blood. Couldnt take ANY chances and I am serious. On two different visits we talked about referrals for different things just to find out he never did it. I had symptoms of diabetes and He did blood work but to this day still don't know the actual results, just him telling me "eh it's ok" and I did ask him. I called in as a new patient today and was greeted by a friendly voice and when I arrived friendly staff. As a new patient walk-in I was suprised by the short wait time. I was called in by a cheery M.A. and I met with Dr. Boutros less than 2 minutes later. He spent appropriate time with me and he is professional, friendly, and even remembered by bfs full name, job, location etc. even though they met once over a month ago.
