Food is always hot and fresh. Never have had a bad dish from here. Very flavorful and the chicken wings? Amazing. Service is always top tier and take out is my favorite. Always ready within 15 minutes. I don't see many folks sitting down and eating but it's your average Asian takeout joint with large tables and seating if you choose to dine in. It's very clean every time I walk in. I recommend it to everyone to try. They have Chinese, Thai, and Japanese dishes. read more

Ordering was easy food was easy , and when I went to pick it up the staff was nice and friendly. Restaurant was clean and would make me come back again. Food was cooked perfectly. Only issue was I ordered a side of fried rice. Had I known the house speciality rice had shrimp in it I wouldn't have order it being I don't like seafood but other than that it was good. read more

There food is awesome and very sweet ppl if you want good food visit this restaurant because u want be disappointed

Food is good I got Szechuan Chicken, the people are friendly and try to plz. I asked for extra hot sauce and they give it to me. I like things spicy. I got the lunch special. It's a little hole in the wall restaurant meaning not too big and not for a romantic dinner. It's fast food but place it worth a try. A lot of people call ahead and just take it home. read more

I have taken food out twice now from this restaurant and both times I have been satisfied with it. Excellent Portions served with white or fried rice. The ingredients were fresh and the taste was delicious! The Thai red curry with vegetables and chicken was very good but I like my coconut curry sauce thicker. I have tried Chinese Mongolian Beef, Chicken Curry, Beef with Garlic Sauce, Egg Foo Young and Egg Rolls. The food has a mild flavor so you may want to ask for extra spicy. They package it well so it will get it to where you are taking it without spillage. There is limited seating inside. I will be returning and hope you will call today and order take out! Jasmine Chinese Restaurant - Broccoli /Chicken - Chinese Near Me - Lenoir, North Carolina

Shrimp lo mein was really tasty. It had the perfect number of shrimp. I also had egg drop soup which was not so good. Very bland and watery. Won tons were not crispy. Staff was very friendly. read more

Food at Jasmine is always delicious! Tons of food and great egg rolls. I've been coming here for years when I need some quick General Tso chicken. read more

Have eaten here before was good, today we ordered soup to go, my wife got egg drop soup, simple can't mess that up, I got the hot and sour soup, not that great to running not much flavor never had zucchini in hot and sour. It usually it has pork, mushroom tofu , thicker broth , red pepper flakes, this was bland read more

My all time favorite dish is their sesame tofu. It is so fresh, and delicious. This restaurant looks like a hole in the wall but it's is gourmet food they are serving! The price is also very affordable and great considering how delicious their food is! Also the vegetable lo mein has SO much flavor! Jasmine has closed during COVID-19 and I am counting the days until they open back up! update: they are back open and I couldn't be happier! read more

See the pic of the insect on the floor? I took that right after we ate there. I would have given the place 2 stars cuz the food was not that good - had to knock off a star due to the live bug in the dining room. read more

Jasmine Chinese Restaurant - Saw this on the floor AFTER we finished eating. It was alive. - Chinese Near Me - Lenoir, North Carolina

Great food. Their beef and broccoli is on point- just the right amount of sauce, ample broccoli that's still got crunch to it- never over-cooked. Hot, fresh, well-priced, and I always feel great after eating there- everything you could want from a Chinese takeout :) read more

This was my first trip to Jasmine. First of all I didn't receive any utensils or napkins for my take out order. The piece of lime in my dish looked like it had already been used, couldn't squeeze out a drop of lime juice on noodles. I ordered three different meats. I got mainly noodles, only a couple of shrimp and chicken in the whole meal. Very dissatisfied with this place! read more

I love getting takeout at Jasmine. It's a great lunch spot. You can get a plate of food and an egg roll or 3 wontons for $5.55. Today I ordered pork lo mein and told them extra spicy. It was very good. My husband ordered sesame chicken. I took a bite and it was also very good. It has a nice sweetness to the sauce that is delicious. The wontons are pretty good too. The fried rice has too many onions for my taste so I just pick them out and it taste just fine! I think the sanitation rating was 97 or 98 which is fantastic! All the other Chinese restaurants in the area have pretty low sanitation scores. I would recommend Jasmine over all the other Chinese restaurants in Caldwell county. read more

While the quality is very good when it is very good, it is inconsistent according to wherever they purchase the ingredients. The main drawback of this place is the service. The woman who runs the counter is just plain rude and comes across as if she is doing you a favor. If that doesn't bother you, then yes, this is the best Chinese Restaurant in Lenoir imho. read more

We just moved to this side of the county. Had always done China Garden in Lenoir and it was mediocre at best, Empire buffet is terrible so we thought we give Jasmine a try. We were very impressed. Some of the best Chinese food we've had in Lenoir and I love their lemongrass coconut shrimp soup. We haven't tried their Thai yet so no experience there. read more

This is really a takeout restaurant with a few tables. Food is ok but nothing to write home about. There is an overpower order of fryer grease in the air. The restaurant is clean and what I could see of the kitchen, it looked clean. I order pork and broccoli made spicy. I received pork and vegetables with chili sauce on the side. I expected the chili sauce to be added during cooking to blend flavors. The pork was tender and the dish served hot right out of the wok. Julie had shrimp lo mein. Again nothing special and I expected larger sized shrimp. All sauces are prepackaged and not made in house. We order a small size egg drop soup which was just under boiling when we opened the container. This as well as the entrees were severed in to-go plastic platters which were brought to the table on a tray which the counter person unloaded onto the table. Not that it really mattered, but there was no fortune cookie severed. And as expected there was no alcohol available. Menu did contain other Asian dishes. We may stop again to explore some of the Japanese style selections. read more

I would have gave it a better star rating the food was great but I order General tao's chicken but when she handed me my food its was sesame chicken and when I tried to give it back and ask for what I wanted she kept telling me I said sesame when I order no I didn't ! I don't even like sesame seeds why would I order that and they tried to confuse me and talk me into keeping it with their Chinese talk LOL into keeping what I didn't order I finally took the meal to the counter And pointed out and slowly pronounced what I wanted! And they finally recooked what I wanted in the first place! Anyways great food very good I'm impressed! Only problem was the miscommunication at first about what I wanted but the food definitely made up for it! I will definitely come back! read more

Jasmine Chinese Restaurant - two trays of food on a table - Chinese Near Me - Lenoir, North Carolina

One of the best Chinese restaurants in Lenoir. We get the sesame chicken combo with a drink and egg roll. It has always been great.

Horrible food ordered shrimp with lobster sauce and the fried rice was so undercooked it was not edible very very dissatisfied I won't go back read more

I love finding that one Chinese or Japanese restaurant in town that just hits the spot every time. Jasmines has done that for me. When I went I got hibachi chicken and vegetables. For what I paid I sure got my moneys worth. It had the perfect amount of hibachi flavor and the shrimp sauce was perfect. Only problem was the service wasn't all that great. She didnt seem to care much but we all have bad days. Defiantly try the japanese food. read more

I've been all over the country, yet I'm primarily from NC. I've been to countless Chinese restaurants, and have seen how many Chinese restaurants try their best to satisfy local palettes wherever they are. But I'm really surprised at how no one has written a word about Jasmine - mainly because seeing they're pretty much a place off the beaten path, they really rate highly in my opinion, for what that's worth. Their steamed and pan fried dumplings (aka wontons and Pot Stickers) are some of the best I've ever had! I expected a very doughy and thick wrapper (where many places do that just to fill you up), yet Jasmine's was absolutely spot on, and was just plain perfect - and man, the inside meat was the absolute best! No fillers, just a lot of lean pork. Plus, their dipping sauce was not only first rate, but they give you all you need. Most places I've had to ask for extra sauce, but that's certainly not needed here. A+ on their dumplings, for damn sure! I've ordered the Thai style Pad Thai, and sometimes their noodles (& shrimp) were way over cooked. Yet the shrimp was abundant, and I'd expect if I asked them to slightly undercook the dish I'm sure they'd be happy to accommodate. I'm still slowly going through their menu, so it's a basic work in progress thing, and I figure I'll update my Yelping as time goes on. I'm new to the area, Jasmine is right down the road, and I figure I'll be using them as my go-to Chinese place for a long while. The place is always clean as a whistle, and I'd imagine if you like Chinese food and live in a small town like Lenoir, this is a place you should really check out. read more

Pretty good for lenoir. Good selection and they have udon noodles! Good selection for vegetarians, we prefer this place to anywhere in lenoir and morganton. read more

Best Chinese take-out around! They also have a great Japanese Hibachi stir fry menu and I highly recommend the pad thai and the red, green or yellow curry dishes. The garlic sauce dishes are very flavorful. read more

I really enjoy the food at jasmine. Does it compare to some place in Chicago? I could care less. Their food is very good. They have a great selection of vegetarian and vegan dishes. In that respect, they eclipse other local restaurants. I love the sweet heat of their general tso tofu. It's a very good take out restaurant. Their pad Thai could use some work. More sauce would be a good start. read more

Well, as the old saying goes, you only get one chance to make a first impression. In this case, Jasmine went down in flames. The Pad Thai, as one other reviewer noted, was way overcooked to the point the dish resembled something from Chef Boyardee. The taste was not that much better, either. The Basil fried rice that my wife ordered came with shrimp. Nice touch, but she's allergic to shellfish. The Tom Yum soup was "alright", but bland. The orange chicken was about a three out of five. I realize that Lenoir is a small town and we just moved here from the Dallas area, but we've already found a Mexican restaurant (Dos Amigos) that could hold its own anywhere, as well as some great barbecue places. The saddest commentary about Jasmine was when I was handed my order, the woman behind the counter just walked away. No "thank you" at all. As far as coming back there, I'll stick with her suggestion and reiterate, "no thank you". read more

The best Chinese food around. They are fast. Everything is cooked fresh. Great prices. It's best for take out. Wonderful lunch specials.
