When I got the cupping, I did a full body because I know I needed it! It felt so good afterwards when they took off the cups! I went in feeling stiff and came out feeling relaxed! If you know me, you will know that I am a clean freak/germaphobe. As funny as it may sound to you, hearing the washing of hands between patients in the adjacent area was EVERYTHING!!! I've been to two other clinics in Honolulu and neither of them ever washed their hands. Treatment-wise, Dr. Kim was very thorough in her analysis and gave me valuable TCM recommendations for self-care with diet and exercise. The visual aids also gave me a clearer understanding of Traditional Chinese Medicine and my own constitution. Generally speaking, I am not fond of needles of any kind BUT I am a firm believer in TCM and acupuncture. I have learned to tolerate needles. I am so grateful beyond words to have found Dr. Kim and Gu Fang Traditional Chinese Medicine!!! I'm already looking forward to my next visit.

Initially, I came in because of lingering back pain. I get back pain on occasion, but it usually goes away in a day or two. This time I had pain for almost a week. Dr. Bui was able to make the adjustments with a combination of muscle stimulation and massage therapy. I'd been seeing Dr. Bui once a month, for six months since June 2017. In the last two months, however; I saw her every week. I have a healthcare plan which covers chiropractic treatments which Dr. Bui provides. Be sure to check with reception to see if your healthcare plan will cover her treatments! Even if it doesn't, I would still highly recommend Dr. Bui. The time and care she puts into the session is worth it. I have seen various chiropractors- (all very good) over the years, but stopped going because they were all located in places that were inconvenient for me. The appointments usually are fast- like 10 minutes, in and out. And although it is basically effective, I find that the extra time and care Dr. Bui puts in each treatment works wonders! Dr. Bui is very passionate about her work and it shows in the results. I look forward to regular treatments in the years to come!

I was skeptical at first because I had neither seen nor heard of any good herbal medicine doctors in Hawaii. The clinic looked clean, the receptionist/nurse technician was nice, and Dr. Han was nice, slightly funny, and thorough. I felt so much better after my first visit, and since then, I have been going every 3 days. I have my go-to herbal medicine clinics for acupuncture in Korea and Dr. Han's clinic is my go-to herbal medicine clinic on Oahu. I have never had anyone really get down so close to my "intimate zones" in any of the 100's of massage & bodywork sessions I've had, but Kim is a powerhouse of strength & knowledge and truly understands the mechanics of the human body. She was getting into the deep tissues of old injuries past It's almost as If my body were a piece of clay and she was sculpting it back into a balanced, symmetrical, oxygenated flexible spacious shape. She is ultra confident with her hands and energy and the sessions feel like a medley of Hawaiian lomi, Swedish massage & physical therapy. I've had a huge increase in motion since seeing her twice in the last four days. With my high levels of pain & great discomfort in most positions, I felt safe in her care, that I didn't have to worry about her moving my body in a way that worsen the injury, but that in her hands I would move towards greater healing. She went over an hour for both sessions, but since she did the same for the client before me, that meant I had to wait about 15 minutes. She was great at texting to set up appointments and great communicator. The waiting area is small but clean and business like. It feels very homey. Bathroom is perfectly located next to the 2 therapy rooms, alongside the little office space. There are magazines and tea offering, and some really nice natural soaps available for sale by a local maker. All in all a great experience & I will come see her every time I'm back on Oahu.
