I booked a deep tissue couples massage with advance notice having read all the good reviews. Have…read morebeen to multiple massage places, I try to be gentle in understanding people have different strengths and weaknesses. But my experience was negative enough to comment on. The good: The location is very clean, welcoming, and convenient with parking. Wade was very solid with deep tissue, would absolutely come back for him. He offered us some lovely tea upon exiting. The Bad: I probably won't come back, with Tera. I repeatedly asked for somebody upon calling for deep tissue to which they said all their technicians were good. There were multiple red flags. Notably when they said she was more experienced with Thai massage but could do deep massage. To their credit, their sign says they can change your therapist in the first 15 mins. We agreed to do a mixture of stepping and deep massage with a focus on neck and shoulder. But unfortunately, after she finished her stepping process, it was past that time. I had to repeatedly ask for more pressure, and I'm not convinced she was planning to do any deep massage until I asked when it would happen. When I asked her again, she said that I needed to relax with an irritated voice. Her pressure was ultimately very weak. She then proceeded to elbow me awkwardly for the next 45 minutes in my shoulder and ribs. If you told me that you would set me with a beginner technician who was in their first few weeks of schooling, the bar would have been set appropriately. Her shoulder massage was awkwardly poking into my shoulder blades with sharp nails. Her neck massage was poking her thumb into the various nooks. There was no point at which I felt like she knew how to massage in a cohesive flow or was familiar with the human body or how to focus on knots. But alas, I paid $70 for somebody to elbow me, watching the clock to end, and walked away no more relaxed than when I walked in. I am not sure what technician the other good reviewers had but would not come back.

Many appointments went good. A couple went bad. Last appointment I was in with bf, both masseuse were talking non stop. Loud. Laughing. Talking. For the entire hour. I was so upset, i had to stop the massage before it was done. It's so fucking rude. Please note, this was not the first time, just the loudest and longest time. Other times I went, either my company didn't mind, nor wanted to speak up, or I simply didn't want to speak up because it's awkward. But imagining sitting there for your whole massage wondering when they would stop screaming!? Also note- one time i called and ask how much it would be extra to focus on my shoulders, the man on the phone said no extra charge, but when i finished my massage the lady said it was $40 extra. I asked for 1.5 hours, she said NO because she worked too hard on my back. Fucking rude how are they still open. Don't go to their sister location up the street either. I expected the owner to reach out and apologize for his employees behavior. It's been about 2 to 3 weeks. No one's calling me so I'm leaving this review cheap ass massage place.

Robbie was my therapist and just concentrated on those areas with some very deep tissue, which at some point was a little too intense, but still, he found some gnarly knots that needed some work. I should've had him do some more on my arms, because he did a couple techniques that felt good. The one thing that was surprising was the country music that he played, but it was interesting to have work done listening to country music. So if you need work done on specific areas, this is a great place to come to. If you are looking for one of those "serene aromatherapy" massages...this is not the place. But if you need serious work done, definitely check them out.

My technician was Mina. She performed my service package. At other spas I've been to, different people performed different tasks in the spa package. Mina was excellent at everything, from scrubs and massages to facials. She was professional, friendly, and thorough with her work. She also provided instructions after each item session (my package included facility use, scrub, massage, and facials). I got to the facility ~30 mins before my appointment. An employee walked me through the facility and provided instructions. I used the hot tub and plunge pool before the scrub. After my session was done with Mina, I had lunch with friends. After that, I used the dry and charcoal rooms. The business was clean and organized. They had lockers for us to store our things in. The posted signs on the wall were a little confusing, but you can always ask the staff if you are unclear. They were friendly. In the beginning, I was a little nervous about booking for my group after reading the negative reviews and responses, as I wanted the day to go smoothly since we were there to celebrate birthdays. Anyway, I'm glad it went well :).
