Was in Cave Creek and knew local singer Dean James was playing as he does most Saturday's. Cool casual place to listen to live music outside and sip your favorite beverage (coffee, tea, soda, beer, wine). Ordered a chicken sandwich and that made the day complete. read more

Stopped in for an iced drink and got an americano. Pretty good price for a 16oz. ($3.00!) pretty dead on the inside but it was midday on a Wednesday. I'm planning to check this place out tonight with some friends when they have the live artists playing outside. Looks like it could be a cool environment outside with heat lamps and blankets. Everyone inside was super friendly and eager to chat. Looking forward to my trip back. No red flags here just a bit dead. read more

A good friend brought me here about a year ago to have breakfast while out on a ride This place is situated off of the road behind a furniture shop so keep an eye out as it is not visible from the street. The decor is very industrial, lots of steel and iron work. There is limited seating inside but a ton of space to sit outside and enjoy the live music and fresh air. Now I've been here a handful of times, with friends, my kids and date night and I can tell you that every single time it's been somewhat a disappointment. This place has all of the makings to be such a great restaraunt/bar, but it desperately lacks consistency and overall management. Example 1: On almost every single visit the person taking orders has no clue what it is they serve or how to work the point of sale system. Takes so long to get a coffee or a food order placed. Example 2: We sat around today for a simple breakfast buritto... 30 minutes...in the meantime they brought the wrong coffee orders and had to make them over again. When we finally got our breakfast , I noticed something very different about the burrito. All of the vegetables were completely cold and raw... Never seen that before and inconsistent from past visits. Example 3: In total there are about 4-5 people that work the breakfast hours. I've never really seen this place to full capacity and am puzzled as to why the employees dont come out from behind the counter to check in on customers , bus tables or upsell on food and drinks. I mean, the customer makes there own order, the customer seats themselves, the customer picks up their own order, the customer has to get up and get their own knives, forks etc. I really hate to be so hard on the place, but it could be so much better. I'm so laid back too and hate say anything negative about a business in my town , but I really hope things change for the better so I can change my rating. read more

It's set back from the road, so watch for the wooden marquee sign. The place is cozy inside and equally relaxing outside. Cushy chairs, secluded nooks, and service counter to be right up front with the action. Free Wi-Fi is bonus and the signal reaches to the patio. Here's the best part: they serve coffee AND wine! Janet's is absolutely adorable. The inside ambiance is hip, fresh, and somewhat rustic. There is a patio where you can sit outside and enjoy views of Black Mountain and a flush of cacti. Every weekend there is live music. I tried the loaded oatmeal-it was divine. You can choose what you want on it. This selection includes fruit, berries, nuts, granola, and a number of sweeteners. Janey's Coffee Co. Is a great hidden gem. The music scene at Janey's is the best part. The great outdoor ambiance on a nice desert evening rocks! We go to Janeys to see the fun local bands "The Stumbles" & "Stumbling Moxie". We will be back soon when they are back on your patio. read more

Stopped by for a quick pick-me-up and was slightly disappointed. The chai lattes my sister and I ordered were made from powder and they got two of our orders wrong. The sizes were huge, but not all that tasty. The ambiance was adorable but the drinks were nothing to write home about. read more

I went there for the Wednesday wine tasting with a group. All things considered it is the best wine tasting I have ever been to. The staff is very knowledgeable but not stuffy. They appreciate your business and everyone else who is there at the tasting is also very nice and enjoying their self too. Lastly the food is great. It is a little drive to get there from where I live but it is always a treat when I do go. read more

Well welcome to Janey's! This review is def over due. I've been here twice now, and both times were absolutely worthy of writing home about. Ok I actually texted home about this place, but you get the point. Visit number one was a couple of beers and a pub board to share. Yummy!! We got the half and half. It was veggies, cheese and meat. It also had pieces of warm, soft pretzels. Extra yumm!!! The atmosphere is warm and inviting. The staff is incredibly welcoming and I felt as if I had just walked into a friend's house. Visit number two was this past Friday night. We stopped in for a beverage and some live music. The band, "The Dickensons" was great. They played more of an Alt Rock type of music and we really enjoyed them. We listened to the music for about 30 minutes or so, enjoyed a beer and called it a night. It was the perfect way to end our evening out, and I very much look forward to my next visit. read more

This place has a fantastic layout. With a a huge expansive patio, and an industrial inspired design. We came for breakfast, and I ordered the burrito with eggs, bacon, and all the veggies. The presentation was visually pleasing, but the overall flavor was pretty average. There was a good helping of veggies and bacon in the tortilla, but the horseradish cheddar was sparse which was disappointing as it was the most distinguishing component of the wrap. I wouldve liked to see some more flavor overall such as more of the cheddar, more spice, or more of a sassy salsa, but overall good quality and satisfying. The service was fast and friendly, and the coffee had a nice robust dark flavor. I only wish it would have been balanced out with some citrus notes. I'd come back here again as its a good spot for a leisurely cup of Joe outside. I'd just like to see them step up their wow factor. read more

Super duper cute spot! From first glance we thought Janet's was just a little tucked away coffee joint, but we were pleasantly surprised when we walked in. Janet's has a full bar with beer on tap and a selection of wine in addition to a full coffee bar! If that wasn't enough, featured every night is a music performance which is a nice touch to the ambiance. The interior design reminds me of an old saloon with tall wooden booths and some other wooden tables mixed in as well. Outdoors they have a LARGE patio area with some nice trees and vegetation to make it feel like your in a little garden. The prices are super reasonable and there are some food options available. I have visited twice for both coffee and a cocktail. The cold brew coffee has great flavor and is customizable to your liking. I am always a sucker for a black cold brew with coconut syrup...tasty! The other time I visited was with my mom and a friend. I decided to try a cocktail this time. I ordered a mezcal margarita which has all homemade ingredients. I was in heaven! I saw some other people sitting near us munching on a little charcuterie board which looked so savory and would pair nicely with a red wine. That's my goal for the next time we visit! read more

i frequent janey's on my lunch breaks and Julia and Shelby are just the most fun staff there hands down. Everyone is wonderful but they are just the most entertaining people on the planet. They both make great conversation and coffee! couldn't love them more! read more

Janey's is a great little place in Cave Creek for coffee, lunch or a craft beer or glass of wine. The Turkey Sandwich with Gruyere is very tasty. 12 craft beers rotate on tap and a very small but diverse wine list. Great coffee as well. read more

The girls were full after that, but I wanted to try the beet salad. Have to say, one of the best I've ever had. Beets, arugula, goat cheese, walnuts (I think) and Orange slices with a tasty vinaigrette. Although the girls were 'full', they saw that and had to try it. Nothing left in that bowl as well. Overall, very pleasantly surprised and will for sure return to try other items on the menu. Service was great btw! My wife and I will certainly be back!

I grabbed a seat at the bar, enjoyed a flight of 3 reds, and stayed for dinner. One of the highlights was chatting with the owners, Terry and Janet, who make everyone feel welcome the moment they walk in.
