Found out about this place last time I was travelling through Brugge by the hotel staff and could not resist checking it out again this time.
It is a small place seating only 24 people max. But not so small that you are seated on your neighbours lap.
There was an option of a fixed three course menu with either fish or steak or you could chose off the menu.
There were a couple of local delights but I decided to try the set menu.
To start with I was given a small sample of a carrot soup to try, not part of the menu, but something that the chef was working on which I thought was excellent.
The first course was a mozzarella croquette with some garnish - tasty
The second course was a beef fillet that had a herb butter kind of thing on top which slowly melted on the top of the fillet to deliver some flavour with frites (expected in Belgium) and veggies
The last course was by far my favourite, a combination of Belgium milk chocolate and white chocolate mousse with a light dusting of grated chocolate on the top
Excellent value, excellent service, short walk away from the main square but well worth it read more
