I went to look at a used Nissan Leaf. The first time I stopped by, the car was unavailable for a test drive due to the parking brake being locked, rendering the vehicle immobile. It sure was nice to look at, though! The salesman on duty was very nice, said it would be fixed soon and suggested calling in advance to ensure it was operational.

Given my research on what these vehicles were selling for, I gave him a number. He scoffed.
I like a good laugh as much as anyone, but instead of a reasoned response, I was essentially told to take a hike. When I asked what his best price was, the business owner said the price was the price, which of course is his prerogative.
I ended up finding another Nissan Leaf online that was almost $1,000 cheaper, two years newer and with lower mileage. No regrets! read more
