I was greatly warmly at the front desk by a young woman who took my information and let me know who would be out to see me first. I waited for about ten minutes and was asked to follow a nurse to a small room to do several eye tests. She returned me to the waiting room which was attached to their eyeglass area with lots of frame options. Dr. Morgan came out and got me and escorted me to an exam room. He went through the normal battery of tests. He asked lots of questions and was straightforward with information which I appreciated. I got my new prescription and took a look around at all of the frames. All of the staff were extremely helpful and pleasant. I would definitely recommend to facility and Dr. Morgan. Every staff member greets you with a warm hello and smile. My previous Dr. left to another facility so I had the services performed by Dr. Rachel Inlow and she was nothing short of amazing. she was very detailed and conveyed the information in an easy to understand language. I'll definitely be requesting her for my next annual exam. The fees are very reasonable (I had to pay "out of pocket) and I consider a great value. If you're due for you annual exam I highly recommend Lake Murray Optometric without reservation. Also recently my wife's expensive pair of glasses became damaged (one of the ear piece hinges broke and couldn't be repaired). I brought them to Lake Murray Optometric (where they were purchased) and Des Elsen one of the Opticians said she'd try and get the frames replaced under warranty. She was successful and when the frames were received she sent the frames out for installing the frame lenses. Everything was performed under warranty and with a smile. Thank You Des for saving us hundreds of dollars!

I had an unexpected crisis at work and was running 15 minutes late. I explained the situation but was told I would have to pay $75 to see my doctor, or I could see a different doctor for free. How does that make sense? My vision is complicated, and continuity of care matters. I understand having policies, but there should also be room for compassion and reasonable judgment. This experience made it feel like collecting a fee was more important than patient care. After 35 years with a doctor who truly cared about his patients, this was incredibly disappointing.
