As these times are unprecedented, how greedy do you have to be to RAISE rent in the middle of a GLOBAL PANDEMIC and then had the audacity just a few weeks ago to send a "if you need a payment plan during these times" we are here to help blah blah. If folks need help do you think INCREASING rent is going to help? I mean honestly, again during these unprecedented times they couldn't make the decision to just hold off on the rent increase this year for a few months? Would it have it ruined the company to wait a while, till at least things were coming back to normal? No it wouldn't, its greed. It's business as usual. If they are like this during these times imagine how it is when it's not. Going to put this as many places as possible because they ought to be ashamed. I rent an apartment managed by the Jamison Management Company and they have made it really easy for me to pay rent via Online or having automatic withdrawals from my bank account. It saves time from going to the bank and paying the Cashiers Check fee. They also advise when they will be doing apartment safety inspections ahead of time and send Christmas Cards every year making feel a family company. The staff are friendly and extremely helpful especially for first time renters like me! Greatly recommend Jamison! read more

Larry is the best! I enjoyed living in the property he owned. I felt like he always took great care of me and had my best interest at heart. When I first came to look at the apartment, it was Sunday which meant it was the on site manager's day off but he was kind enough to show me the place any way. While living there, I also locked myself out at night and he kindly let me back into my unit. My unit had new finishes and I enjoyed living there. The balcony was a fun extra. I always felt safe and comfortable in the unit. Being able to set up automatic rent payments was very helpful. I also liked the ability to make maintenance requests online via the website. I have nothing but great things to say about Jamison Mangagment Company. They not only helped me prepare the house for rental they handled the rental itself. We had to do some improvements to the house, like termite, paving a new driveway, getting new appliances, and various smaller tasks. They provided several quotes and handled the vendors and oversaw the installation. They also placed the ads, provided us with comps for pricing and showed the home for rental, and successfully found tenants for the property in a short amount of time. No complaints here, and that's kind of rare these days! Our property is well maintained and any service calls we have are answered quickly and dealt with quickly. Never have to wait and worry about when something will be fixed. So far, all fixes have been legit too, haven't had any need to call back and complain about shoddy work. Both the management and manager were extremely responsive to any maintenance requested submitted. The request was generally taken care within 48 hours of being submitted. Not to mention that the automatically payments for rent made it easy to pay it without having to worry about having to hand it over to the manager on the day of rent as not everyone has a free schedule. read more

The on site manager Daniel is very responsive via text or phone and when there is a problem it is handled within 24 hours. They also make you feel a little more than a tenant by sending you a birthday card and a Christmas card. Jamison rocks! read more

They were upfront about everything from the beginning, I didn't feel like there were any sales pitches or gimmicks when we were shopping for houses, and they have been extreme helpful with all (3) of our minor issues. My apartment complex is always peaceful. Rent started off great and is only raised a little each year.

Perhaps Jamison Management Company treats their tenants better depending on where the property is located. I stayed at a property located in Hawthorne. The carpet wasn't new when I moved in and looked as if a football team ran through it for years. Over the 5 years of living there I couldn't get them to replace the Carpet so i would have to have it professionally cleaned all the time. Yes the on site manager is friendly but friendliness doesn't fix maintenance issues in a timely manner. My heater needed to be fixed and a request for maintenance was made in December numerous times. Between December and August the heater hadn't been hadn't been fixed and at that time I moved ou. You're better off fixing any issues on your own rather than waiting for someone to come by and address the issue. There was only two washers and two driers on site so it's like pulling teeth to do laundry on site. With the property only having one assigned parking spot street parking is nearly impossible after 5pm. Like some property management companies they are willing to raise rent but not properly maintain the property. Understand that some tenants don't care and will destroy a unit not all tenants are like that and test the property with respect. They list does go on with other issues such as PEST Loud neighbors and receiving packages from ups/fed ex is damn near impossible because they can never enter the building. Unlike some of the other reviews I will not be bribed with a gift card for lying about my renting experience. read more

Me and my daughter moved into one of the units and we are very pleased. Clean out on the outside and inside. That was one of my concerns when I was looking for a place. I like that you can pay your rent online, However 2 times there has been issues with my online payment with them. One time I was charged double the amount of my portion of the rent, which wasn't authorized by me. The second time received a notice of a late fee. This was their error due to the fact that my portion of the rent was never taken out of my account even though I have authorized my rent to be automatically withdrawn from my account. I had to email them and have it taken care of, but still this should be something that should have Never happened. They are responsive to most issues on the property, however there are things that slip through the cracks and get lost in the shuffle.It's a bit annoying because you will have to remind them to tend to things such as maintenance issues that were never tended to. They typically will raise your rent after a year of renting, they say it's based off of market rentals, but not sure that is the case. If people are good tenants and have been there over a year, they should take that into consideration when choosing to raise the rent. Especially when simple maintenance tasks go unattended. read more
