We were contacted by Stephanie, and after multiple discussions it became evident that the property owner's son had overstepped and worked without the knowledge of Jamison. Although the violation did in fact take place, it occurred without their knowledge or input. Since this is the only way I can get someone to respond I think it's crazy you guys say that safety is a concern when I have a video of your maintenance having to change my locked because the locks on my house doors also where the locked to get in the whole complex which mean all your tents in the complex had keys to my house I have called an emailed an no response as well as have called the housing authority in which they explain unless you want to reimburse my money for the screen door then in state of California says even if you had it in the lease it doesn't matter it can't be kept as well as I have text between me an apartment manager who said she confirm with Stephanie that I could take the door with me. At this point since nobody will call me or email me back nor answer the phones I will just be reporting this to the housing authority because I know for a fact we have a lot of violations through the complex . read more

We have been living at this rental for a year and a half. The first year was almost good, we got the issues resolved the PM was on top of things but things have changed. We have been having rodent issues since last year, fortunately not inside the house anymore. We have had two 2 pest control companies tell us that there is something wrong the pipes, some are broken, that was confirmed by a plumber who had a plan, and what happened after that? I have no plan, no resolution because our emails have not been responded too. It's been 9 days! Phone calls and voice mails don't work either. We live in a house, always pay our rent on time but we can't get a timely resolution to this ongoing issue, terrible is an understatement. If we didn't pay rent on time, I bet we will get all sort of communications including a fine, where is fine when they neglect their responsibility? read more

Every tenant received a newsletter reminding of our role that we play in our day to day safety, and it's just like you mentioned we do have tenants that prop doors open and doing so over time deteriorates door locks effectiveness. And that's where the intention needs to be focused the most. And I'm very glad that you're exploring solutions to lock the exterior loby doors hence I believe almost every building around us has exterior lobby doors there are always locked. Don't worry we all understand the challenges and limitations and benefits that also come about with Wi-Fi. I just wish that every tenant agrees with their share of the fault for the slew of car break ins in our building and rectifies their bad habits in breach of security (Door Proping ) and maybe now our neighbors can finally stop blaming Mr Hector. Every one of our neighbors seems to think that Mr Hector is some kind of security guard and that's not okay. I will never want Mr Hector to jump into danger the moment he sees a car being broken into. Mr Hector has done everything to make our living environment finally cozy. Mr Hector has replaced almost every lock and every door multiple times and yet our neighbors keep messing those up. Been residing at 13709 Chadron Avenue, Hawthorne for nearly 3 years. Overall pretty satisfied. Service/repair requests are handled promptly. Thankfully, the building is pretty quiet. One complaint: Stairs are so filthy I'm embarrassed to have anyone visit. Plus, they're unsafe. Hard to distinguish one step from the next because stairwells are dark and steps themselves are painted dark. Lighting does little good because of how they're situated. I knocked off a second star because the stairs aren't just disgusting to look at, but due to the safety issue. And, I don't believe it's Management's fault, but contrary to online description, this area is not "very walkable" unless you like to live dangerously and don't mind depressing scenery. Before moving here, I walked 4-5 miles a day four to five times a week. Here, in 2.5 years, I've walked once. read more

Ive been extremely happy with maintenance requests and the time and efficiency of how fast my requests are worked on and properly completed. The customer service I've received from Nathan has been wonderful. He has helped me change my damaged blinds, replace my door keypad and even went over and beyond expectations when he installed peep holes for me. While he was fixing my door I had mentioned that I was interested in getting those installed and he took it upon himself to get approval to complete this for me within the time I had available the same day he fixed my door keypad. I was so happy about it. Nathan is definitely an appreciated and valued worker. polite and considerate as well. He is definitely the man for the job! Much appreciated! read more

I consider myself lucky. Jamison management company was refereed by a reputable firm. I called the owner Todd Slatcher on a Saturday morning, he was very friendly and efficient. He communicated with me throughout the entire weekend and agreed to have a short-term contract with a very reasonable monthly fee. It was a very easy and convenient process to start. Then Eric Jensen took over when Todd was on leave. Wow, another knowledgeable and professional individual like Todd! Because of Eric's excellent communication skills and vast knowledge on what he does, enhanced my communication with my tenant. We mutually agreed on all issues, and everything went smoothly. Todd and Eric also found a move-out cleaning service within 24 hours per my request. I just moved in this property June of 2023 Hector and he's wife are very nice people easy to talk to and they are both caring, I lived at my old residence for 13 years moved because building had a fire. I never did any research before moving in here. I really loved that everything was newly remodeled in the unit the building seemed cool. when I first moved in after 2 wks someone stole my chairs from my parking spot as I had no storage unit at the time . So I went and purchased my own storage unit I live at 3138 139th street Now today September 17th 2023 I decided to do my laundry and by the time I went back in the laundry room someone stole my soap detergent & Downey Fabric softener I was very angry as this being the 2nd time someone that resides in this building is stealing my personal property! I'm a single mother I work hard for everything I have . I've never experienced no one stealing on the property which I live ever before in my Life. I now have 2 cameras installed to watch my car and parking and to watch my front door entrance! I don't feel safe living here anymore and want my lease terminated so I can move ! read more

Do not rent any property from this management company. They will keep most if not all of your security deposit no matter what. We lived in our apartment for 1 year and made sure to make it spotless prior to vacating. Eric our property manager did a walk through and told us everything looked great and then charged 150 for a cleaning fee and 550 for painting because our ceiling had little dark spots on it from the drywall fasteners rusting. My boyfriend is a construction professional and knows what a bad drywall job looks like. How/why would we put little smudges spaced every 12 inches on the entire ceiling? I tried explaining this to him and all he told me was "you can take us to court if you want but we've never lost". So obviously they do this scam a lot and are used to it. I have been complaining about the tenants above me since March 2020. I have sent documentation over to the property manager as well as her boss. Guess what they've done, NOTHING! Eric makes the excuse that nothing can be done due to Covid however, that info is false. You can't evict anyone due to non payment during this time but you can evict for tenants not following a noise policy. I have been living here for 6+ years and have never complained about anyone that has lived above me. Management hasn't even attempted to investigate this. She just texts the tenant or reports to Eric which is all pointless. You have used cheap materials in the flooring when the last tenant moved out so now I hear stomping, dropped objects, loud music, made by the tenant and her guests every day. The stomping causes my windows to rattle damn near sounds like they're going to break. You're a bs company, you ignore complaints from your long time tenants, your maintenance men are subpar and this building has several health code violations. All you care about is the rent and you only post your good reviews on your website, this company is a joke. Honestly, this is the WORST management company to rent from. The onsite manager plays favoritism and you fall short if you aren't of the same ethnicity as him( hate to play that card but its the truth). I have had my packages stolen more than once with no support from the onsite management or office management. I completed all steps such as following up with the post office as well as filing a police report but again, i received no support. I have paid my rent on time (even through COVID) so to be treated as if I am an irresponsible tenant is complete bs. The reason of this review is for what occurred today. I was threatened by their MAINTENANCE staff and was told because I was not home at the time they wanted me to be, I would be held financially responsible for any damages that could occur in ANOTHER TENANTS HOME! Tell me if that makes sense? They called me while I was at work requesting to enter my home but due to the theft of my property, i informed them that they can not enter my home without someone being present. I let the man know what time I'd be home but his rebuttal was that he would not be able to come at that time. We agreed on him coming at 5 PM (in which i had to leave work early to ensure I'd be there in time) only for him not to be there. So I waited and after 20 minutes i left. I was called 45 minutes after stating that he was at my house at 5:15 pm but that clearly was a lie because i was sitting in my living room. I also have video surveillance that debunks his claims of being at my house at said time. I guess because I said i have video evidence, he didnt like it and proceeded to threaten me. I left the office management a VM but tbh I doubt they follow up. I explain all this to say, be careful renting and/or doing business with this management company. They do not care about their renters, half ass fix plumbing issues, threaten you when you dont comply with whatever they are asking, and a list of things I dont have the time to include. read more

RENTER BEWARE! This is the WORST management company I've every dealt with and the worst properties as well. The building we lived in is infested with cockroaches and management refuses to do anything. Instead, they recommended that we buy traps and "deal with it" ourselves. We were killing 3-4 roaches nightly. Absolutely unsanitary and terrible living conditions. There were also multiple break-ins to cars in our garage and management again did nothing. There was a leak from the apartment above us which ruined the cabinets and they started to disconnect from the ceiling and had warped. Maintenance put one bolt in the corner and called it a day. No compensation for our ruined property and they didn't even bother to remove the mold or repaint. Then, the family of 6 in the apartment above us were incredible terrible and extremely loud all day and night, banging and yelling. The only reprieve was between 4am and 6am, which is not even close to the stated quiet hours. We filed multiple complaints and the issue was never dealt with. In the end, we felt forced out of the apartment because of these unhabitable living conditions. Our security deposit was then incorrectly debited and management is, to this day, ignoring my calls and emails. Do NOT live in any properties management by this company. I especially warn against Daniel, Rudy, and Denise who are rude, unprofessional, and a nightmare to deal with. read more

I literally tried saving a lost dog that i found at our door step.... as a human being i fed this dog and tried find it's owners. The "manager" at 13507 chadron ave. In hawthorne ca 92507....ayleen started calling me at 11pm pst..... asking about the dog. What a shame. What lack of human decency especially from some who has kids...sincerely disappointed in the display of such a laxk of humanity. I feel bad and poor under developed management. THIS MANAGEMENT COMPANY KNOWINGLY SIDES WITH PREDATORS. They denied my mother, an elderly and disabled woman housing even though everything checked out on her end. She had to flee her last property due to an Intrusive, emotionally abusive and deranged landlord. She has been seeking shelter for months and finally is approved for this property and the ONLY thing holding her back was her last landlord's reference. She already explained the situation to this management company as to why this reference wouldn't be reliable and any other would be, as well as her social worker helping her seek shelter. Still, they listened to no one. They didn't listen to my mother, the victim, not the GOVERNMENT OFFICIAL WORKING HER CASE, or any other reference besides him that they could have spoken to. Who did they listen to? THE PREDATOR WHO JUMPED AT THE OPPORTUNITY TO SLANDER MY MOTHER AND KEEP HER HOMELESS AS HE PROMISED. They listened to him. This company is unfair and unjust.
