I went there a year ago for a crown James c wasn't there. I saw another dentist about it, he said it needed to be pulled. but he said he wasn't a doctor and sent me to the front desk. Rosemary wasn't there a which named Alicia was there that day and she wanted to send me to Fresno to a gum specialist and then to L A to a root canal specialist because Alicia said there was neither in Bakersfield that took medical. The witch got all bent out of shape when I said I will find a dentist that will do all, And I did find a great dentist. dental depot in Bakersfield. we been going here four years. I was happy until recently when I was out of town for work and my mother took my daughter in for me. while there Dr. Ma spoke to my mother in a discriminatory manner. when both my mother and I spoke up for ourselves instead of apologizing like a professional the Dr. denied his bad behavior. when your clientelle is ethnic people on medicaid maybe you should not say racist classist comments during procedures. I came for dental care and got unsolicited race comments on braces from other countries. then he dismissed us as patients like I wasnt already looking for a new doctor. talk about foot in your mouth!!! so sad when educated people have no common sense!! read more

I called and the receptionist was very rude and very unprofessional. I am very disappointed I was looking forward to being a patient here. Hopefully they provide the young lady who answered the phone sensitivity training and she learns to be respectful and have patience. I was experiencing EXTREME tooth pain from what ended up being a cracked and infected tooth. I called Dr. Mas' office within minutes of the office opening. I explained my situation and that due to a recently stolen wallet, I did not have my physical insurance card. I did however have the digital card provided by the insurance provider as an emergency substitute until a new card could be mailed as well as all necessary forms of identification. I was told that this would be fine. The person on the phone then proceeded to take all of my info over the phone, including my Insurance ID number and assured me that as long as I had my ID and digital insurance card, I would be seen. After spending the day in some of the worst pain I have ever experienced counting the minutes until my appointment and hopefully some relief, I arrived at the office only to be told I could NOT be seen. That the physical card WAS needed. No explanation was given as to why I had been told otherwise and why all of my insurance info had been taken. But they had my name in the books for that appointment time. This was definitely the office I called. My appointment was at 2 p.m. Far too late to get an emergency appointment with anyone else. Believe me, I tried. This is seriously NOT okay. Had I been given correct Information when I called, I could have continued to search for a dentist office that could have helped me. Instead I waited in intense pain for hours, only to be told that because of an error on their part, I could not be helped. However, I was told that when I received my physical insurance card in 8-10 weeks, I could schedule another appointment. No thanks. Total apathy and unprofessionalism on the part of the office staff. They were nice but they are very expensive they wanted to try and charge me $6,000 for Invisalign when I can go to smiledirectclub for $2,000... I noticed while they were taking out my wisdom teeth they did not use any tools to make sure that the corners of my mouth weren't torn I know this because now afterwards both of the corners of my mouth hurt extremely....its been a week & theu still hurt ... most cosmetic orthodontist understand that people have an image but these people don't care I won't be going back .... I'm a model and I don't appreciate it I have to stay off of social media because of it don't go here if your image is worth something they don't care.... honestly it feels like they did it on purpose because I was telling other customers about how expensive they are I told him to go to smile direct Club instead... read more

Dr. Ma actually listened to ALL my concerns and acted accordingly. He reviewed the X-Rays with me and made sure I understood the situation.
