I'll start this review off by saying, I'm the wife- leaving the review for my husband! My husband had dental work done a couple of years ago (a bridge), at another dental office, and had pain in one of the teeth since- it was off and on pain. I figured he was eventually going to need a root canal, but he was trying to wait it out. Until one day, he could no longer ignore it. Our dentist is out of town, and my husband asked me to find someone who could get him in ASAP. Of course that seems like an impossible task. Most places you call have an insanely long wait time (by a month or more) for new patients- if they are even taking new patients. I called one dentist who referred me to this facility. I called and spoke with Tara, one of the office workers. Tara was amazingly kind and has wonderful customer care. Not only was she able to get my husband seen within a day, they were able to get him antibiotics and schedule his root canal for the following day. I can't say enough good things about this place! My husband said the doctor (Dr. Branden Dailey) had wonderful bedside manner. As you can probably tell, my husband initially had a lot of anxiety around dental work. They took care of him right away- which we were both so grateful for. I know it's no easy thing to find room for a new patients, and for an emergency at that. For those reasons alone, I am so grateful for this place. It's clear they TRULY care about people- you are not just another number or appointment like so many other offices treat their patients as. Clinical work seemed fine, but the patient care side really needs improvement. walking in office looked nice, clean and cozy. But the staff and Dr were cold. I felt like I was on a production line-get them in, get them out. The Dr or Assistant had no sense of bedside manners or compassion. Not once did they ask are you doing okay. Most people say "root canal" and cringe. And while I didn't like the sound of those words rolling off my tongue, popping 10-12 Ibuprofin for a midnight snack every night was getting old and wreaking havoc on my stomach. So with excitement to put an end to the pain, I arrived to Dr. Dailey's office; beautiful office, welcoming staff, comfortable setting (new fish tank is beauty). I was numbed in no time. Painless! Okay, a few pokes, but I gladly accept those if it means not having to feel any surprises once the drill revs up. If we are being honest, it's the jaw and holding my mouth open for hours on end that always gets to me. However, Dr, Dailey has this special insert that you bite down on and it keeps your jaw relaxed while your mouth is wide open! So there I sat, my jaw relaxed but of course my body tense. I am THAT patient who sits in the dental chair putting all my focus and attention on that one tooth just waiting, anticipating for a nerve to be hit and to be seeing stars. NOT THE CASE HERE. Nope. In fact, I almost fell asleep. The slow drill vibrating my jaw was practically therapeutic, and the meticulous handy work and gentle touches of Dr Dailey had me almost in dreamland. When it was all said and done, I was prescribed extra strengthening pain meds along with a schedule as to when to take to combat the lingering pain. Well, I am here to ask you, what lingering pain!? I never had to take anything! NO PAIN. NONE. In fact, I taught a cycle class couple hours after the procedure. Most people are haunted by their first root canal experience. Mine however? Beautiful, comfortable office which focused firstly in my safety and the safety of those in the office by requesting that I wash my hands 1st before paperwork. Everyone in the front office was professional, kind, and speedy. I was brought back to see Dr. Dailey within 10 minutes. The dental assistant was very kind and reassuring. I felt comfortable and cared for. Dr. Dailey, was the kindest Doctor I ever have spoken with. He was very thorough and competent in his treatment plan. I have been in pain for 3-4 weeks due to a tooth that required a root canal. So much so that I even had to go to the ER for antibiotics and pain medication because it was driving me crazy. I couldn't eat or sleep or even think because all I could focus on was the pain. Today I called Dr. Dailey's office and had a major breakdown over appt confusion but Gabby at the front desk was so kind and caring and as I cried in frustration. She managed to get me in right away and Dr. Dailey and Martha (I believe) his tech got my root canal done quickly and painlessly. Best dental experience ever! I had been in serious pain because I needed a root canal and the front desk staff did their best to get me in ASAP. Visited Brandon L Dailey DDS for a re-treat root canal. Whatever he injected in to my mouth made me shake uncontrollably. At which time he placed a clip board with various disclosures on my lap. I could barely hold the pen. My heart was racing. Assistant said 'he probably did it too fast' and 'sometimes that happens to older people'. He proceeded as if nothing happened and chatted to his assistant about their weekends all the time working in my mouth with a drill. Ugghh. I had heard how kind and gentle he is. I was referred here to get 2 root canals done and I'd never heard of this place before so I didn't know what to expect . Also I'm the biggest chicken when it comes to getting work done on my teeth so I was very nervous ..... I was very impressed by the staff and reception at River Oaks endodontics. I am glad there is finally a root canal doctor on the west side of town. I had been downtown to get my last root canal, and it took all day. Dr. Dailey gets them done in about an hour and it was one of the nicest environments to be in when you have to go to get work done. Love the office and ambiance in the reception area. The patient chairs that you rest in to get work done are quite comfy. I would recommend this office to anyone. The staff is amazing. So I got a root canal treated here recently (referred by my dentist).I have a high pain tolerance but this pain was soo unbearable that I ended up in the ER..It was a sharp throbbing pain that wouldn't go away (the worst pain I've ever felt). I had to get two pain shots and a norco prescribed..I was told by Dr. D's assistant to take ibuprofen & a stronger antibiotic and I should be fine. WRONGG. Another thing that got me irritated is that I called Dr's "emergency cell " and yet he doesn't even answer or call back. So what's the point?! He's seems nice and all but all that "suffering" I had to endure this past weekend... Lets just say I'm not a very happy camper right now. read more

Dr. Dailey delayed treatment resulting in a raging infection getting much worse. Saw him on Monday and scheduled for treatment Wednesday at noon. After begging for a sooner appointment was given early morning cancellation. Only to be called while on my way to the office after waiting an excruciating 2 days to postpone again. Given antibiotics I was allergic to causing vomitting in addition to my whole face swelling, unable to eat or sleep. Finally seen and he proceeded to berate me and telling me I need to treat his staff with respect. Ironic since his unprofessional staff showed no respect to me as the patient. Even with dual coverage was charged for imaging not covered by insurance..... and wasted several days suffering needlessly. Unbelievable! No empathy at all and worst experience imaginable. Wow! Painless! Wonderful Doctor and staff. Highly professional! Dr. Dailey has completed two root canals for me. The first was two years ago. It was for a failed root canal. Another endodontist and a dental specialist told me I was going to lose the tooth. Dr Dahlquist referred me to Dr. Dailey because Dr. Dailey has state of the art microscopes, which no one else in town has. Dr Dailey did a new root canal and found the nerve--two years later I still have the tooth! He is so fast! My second root canal was done in an hour! I actually fell asleep because I was so relaxed.
