I ordered online and usually it gets brought out freshly done. This time, I parked and waited for 10 minutes, nothing came out and everyone else's order got brought out. The girl finally ask me if I ordered and brings out this watery carrot juice tasting drink when I ordered a strawberry surf rider. I asked her why my order was not brought out and unfortunately you're supposed to go inside. I'm throwing this away, disgusting. A waste of my $7...

This place is rock solid for good tomes and all things good to eat and drink. On another visit, we encountered Nikki, whom keeps the Jambor juice spirit alive with her excellent customer service, fabulous smile and her wonderful attitude. This is our sure fire spot from here on out!

My favorite classic smoothie is the peach pleasure or any of their mango smoothies.

I'm really surprised that this place doesn't have a yelp page yet. I believe they opened in…read moreDecember in the mall. We stumbled upon this place this summer and it's so good. They have a lot of things- esquites (corn in a cup w/ cheese & mayo- so like elotes but in a cup), elotes, tamales (these might be seasonal, I'm not sure), fruit cups, hot cheetos with cheese, mangonada, fresca con crema, bionico, diablito, chamoyada, chicharron preparado, smoothies, crepes, etc. I haven't tried everything, in fact, I've only gotten their fruit cups with mango and tajin because I'm a creature of habit and it's an amazing, healthy snack on the go. Next time I venture into the mall I'll definitely try some of their other foods. My mom didn't know what tajin or chamoy was and wasn't sure how she'd like it on fruit. I tried to explain it because I'd eaten it a lot when I lived in California briefly- she's pretty open minded so she agreed to go in and check it out. The employees here were the absolute sweetest and prepared a little sample to let her try a bit of both before she committed. She ended up ordering a mixed fruit cup including watermelon, mango, and cucumber and chose the tajin. She loved it! This place is very spacious and clean looking. There's also pretty close to an entrance of the mall- right under the food court- so it's really convenient, even if you don't want to go into the mall at all! I hope this place stays open because I really love it and recommend it to everyone I know who lives in the area.

The Celery -- Portland, OR…read more Walked in and immediately felt like I should own a fixed-gear bike. Industrial. Clean lines. Slightly edgy. The kind of place where you expect someone to be editing a documentary on a laptop made of recycled aluminum. Late afternoon visit, so the hipster crowd had clearly skateboarded back to their respective creative labs. I had the place to myself. Prime auditing conditions. First impression? This place is built for volume. You can tell. Efficient layout. Assembly-line potential. If bowls were a factory sport, this would be a playoff team. Ordered the Home Grown. Took a quick bathroom break. Came back and -- boom -- bowl was already on the counter. FAST. And it looked elite. Then I saw it. A generous dollop of peanut butter at the top, sprinkled with hemp seeds. I almost got emotional. It felt like flying over your hometown after months away. Familiar. Safe. Right. First bite? Delicious. Smooth. Creamy. Almost like frozen yogurt or soft serve. Easy eating. Crowd-pleasing texture. And then... I looked up. Another bowl was being made. The açaí base was coming out of a soft-serve machine. As a purist, this one hurt. I want hand-scooped. Blender-blade symphony. Crafted, not dispensed. I had a small internal crisis. But here's the problem: I really enjoyed it. So now I'm torn between my values and my taste buds. Would I go back? Yes. Would I wrestle internally again? Also yes. Rating 3.8 / 5 Açaí Berries Breakdown * Taste: 4.3/5 * Ingredients: 4/5 * Consistency: 4.5/5 * Purist Pain Factor: High * Speed: 5/5 Current Status: Machine-Made But Memorable Lesson Learned: Sometimes the machine wins. Spiritual Conflict Level: Ongoing. -- The Açaí Guy
