This means there's less fresh acai mix and instead they've added artificial powder in its place. I asked to have the bowl without the protein powder because it absolutely changes the flavor. Although they agreed to do this, it makes the bowl more watery. I also noticed they load you up with granola to the point where it feels like a really crunchy and watery bowl so at my third attempt here I asked for the granola on the side. I'm sure this place still has very loyal customers and makes items that serve their purpose but I sure am bummed. I will continue my search to look for an acai bowl place that doesn't have to put protein mix into everything.

The lady in front of me started to complain that he was taking so many pick up orders and not taking any orders for the people waiting in line. He calmly explained that he was just trying to catch up on orders that had been placed before we had come in. This kid probably made a dozen smoothies by himself just while I was there. The management/owners should be absolutely ashamed of themselves for putting their employees in this position. Not only is this super nice kid having to work his butt off trying to complete these orders in a timely fashion, but he also has to be the one to deal with all the complaints from customers blaming him for something that is absolutely not his fault. While I was walking out one of the other customers was telling me that before I came in there was a lady giving him an extremely hard time for not making her smoothie fast enough. I would also like to say this poor kid was doing all of this with a smile on his face and was overly kind about the situation.
