The sizes keep getting smaller. I used to work at 2 Jambas and have been drinking since the early 2000s. It's not really what it used to be.... The quality of the drinks has dropped, seems as if alot of Jambas got rid of the secret menu (The 2 I worked at had a booklet of the smoothies) but I ordered a Skittles once and they didn't know what it was. Ended up getting a Rainbow Rocks which is like the new variant. They changed the size names a while back from sixteen, original, and power, to just small, medium, and large. Update: I went to Jamba Juice again and was still not impressed. It was a slightly more pleasant experience than the first time. I go into the juice bar and I am the only person there. I go up to the register and there are two girls(employees) chatting, about two feet from the register. They finish up their conversation for about 3 minutes after I approach the register and I swear I hear one of the girls say something like "yeah, I low key wasn't even gonna show up today. Like, I don't wanna be here" or something like that. Finally one of them laughs it off and turns around to help me. (Definitely knowing I been standing there for 3+ minutes) Their smoothies are yummy though. They have soy protein that you can add to your smoothies for an extra cost and being a vegan I kinda just throw some protein in whatever it is I'm eating whenever I can. But yeah, that was an odd experience. I told them I'd be back real quick as i went next door to chipotle while my smoothie was being made. Out of all the jamba juices ive been to, this is by far the best one for acai peanut butter bowls! They actually fill it to the top and cut fresh fruit to put on top! I went to one in Fountain Valley and was shocked at what they handed me. Fruit that was pre-cut and soggy and a half filled bowl! But not this one, this place is really great! Went into this location yesterday and the service was fair. The only issue was that the smoothies weren't good at all. They were too watered down and had no flavor. The after taste was terrible and it tasted as if the ingredients were expired. Both drinks, Caribbean Passion and Peach Mango, had this distinct taste of plastic. The drinks were so bad that my girlfriend and I threw our drinks away immediately. However, we went into the Jamba Juice across the street from main place the next day. This location had great service, great people, and great smoothies. I shared the experience from the other jamba juice with this location and they had informed us that the location at the Orange Mall used premixed packages they use to make their smoothies unlike their hand mixed ones. read more

Ok, I'm one of the weirdos that's never had a Jamba JUICE product. I only go there for the steel cut oats. They're organic with that delicious blueberry/blackberry compote on top? Yeah, the extra what, 50 cents over Starbucks' instant oatmeal is well worth it. Today however, oatmeal was clumpy, almost solid on the bottom, and the compote was runny. And that TEASPOON of brown sugar crumble they managed...I don't know. Bad day for the new guy I guess. AND he tried to give me a smoothie spoon to eat it with. Really? First of all this is rate for my one experience. So I only have a 30 minute lunch... and I went to the cashier and asked for a cinnamon apple pretzel and an acai bowl. 2 minutes after I received my pretzel and she told me that on my left counter I will be getting my bowl. Okay I waited 10-15 minutes(half my lunch break is already gone). And a boy the "bowl maker" was talking to his friend after finishing her bowl of course and chatting away... leaned against the counter. So I went up to the cashier again and asked her what was going on. She pointed at him and said he is making your bowl. He immediately jumped into service. Making my bowl as fast as he could...yet his friend wouldn't move from the section still talking to him obviously getting him into trouble. He offered a refund and I said nah its okay I just have a timed lunch. He apologized and said that they had told him there weren't any more bowls to make. Um...don't they have to look up the screen where it tells you what is on order. Ugh..so I get to work only to find 2 chunks of strawberry ice in my bowl. I called and complained and when they offered a refund tomorrow with a free of charge bowl I refused. I called in to place a phone order for 3 drinks which shouldn't be that hard, & the girl on the phone named "Emily" tried to hurry me up when placing my order multiple times. I had her repeat my order and it was correct. When I went in to pick up my drinks only two were rung up for and ready when I got there. I told her I had one more drink and she argued with me telling me that I didn't order 3 (even though she repeated my order to me and said all three drinks) so I had her ring in my other drink after she rudely stated I was wrong. I came to this store last Sunday, one week ago to the day. I was really craving a healthy green raw juice. I asked the cashier if they could make a fresh raw juice which consisted of orange, kale, spinach and pineapple.. she rang me up for a orange juice with kale and pineapple added. I emphasized to her that I would like extra kale. When I got my drink I could tell by the color that it didn't have extra kale as it was very light, barely green. I try it anyway and it taste like pure orange juice, but with a very strong bitterness to it, just like an orange peel would taste. I really tried to drink it but just couldn't! It was terrible! I went back inside and explain to them that this was not what I had in mind and let them know it didn't taste right, I asked them how they prepared it..being that I used to work as a manager a juice it up for years, I was expecting all of the fresh items to be juiced in a juicer.. she explained to me that the kale was frozen and blended in and not juiced, Also they did not add the pineapple. At this point I thought it best to just ask for a refund. If I wanted frozen items I would've ordered a smoothie. The girl at the register told me it would take three days for me to receive my refund back to my card, Has been a week and I have called the store twice and I still have not received my refund. I guess I will be calling them again tomorrow I don't understand what the problem is? Only reason I am giving the store two stars is because I have been here before and the staff is friendly and the store is clean. My go-to drink is orange dream machine. This location used to be decent and pretty busy. About a few months ago, the drinks were made very quickly and lines were short or non-existent. At first I thought, wow, maybe they're getting really efficient. Once I tasted my drink, it was off. It felt like it was missing an ingredient or it was watered down or both. I went here 3 more times (4 total) since then and it's tasted bad and watered down. The price has also increased a bit compared to the Jamba Juice at the block. Have had much better at other locations. Do not recommend this location. read more
