This Jamba Juice is usually very busy(Especially on game days and weekends), but despite having lines out the door the staff does a great job getting customers in and out in a timely manner. The workers here are very friendly and don't mind explaining menu items or providing samples upon request, and they also do a great job in keeping the business clean and well maintained. I would have given this place 5 stars, but they are very expensive in comparison with other smoothie shops, it doesn't cost $6 to make a blended cup of bananas and oranges, but they still manage to charge an arm and a leg for it. read more

I was going to buy the oatmeal and the host "Monique A" told me they were out of oatmeal. It was 1:30pm and I had spoken with a store manager the nigth before. They told me they stop selling oatmeal at 3pm. I asked Monique when they were going to make another batch. She told me they weren't. I ask why. She told me they could make half a batch but they weren't planning on making it. I asked her if this store does indeed stop selling oatmeal at 3pm. She told me she does but hesistated on continuing her answer. I told her if she didn't have the resources to make another batch, show could have told me and I would have left. However, she indicated that they did have the resources to make half a batch. She asked me if I wanted her to make it. I told her, "You are asking me if I want you to do your job that would normally be done by another employee of Jamba Juice. I don't want to be the customer that is asking you to do somethign above and beyond for me, but you are asking me if I want you to do your job." I was a little frustrated that I would have had such a conversation. However, another employee told me there was enough oatmeal to make a cup. I was a little more bothered that Monique didn't even check if there was a enough. There was actually enough to make a few cups of oatmeal. While this hasn't discouraged me from Jamba entirely, this shines a bad light in Jamba of Hegenberger. Other customers were there and though the notion of being asked if we wanted them to make more oatmeal within the time frame they normally have oatmeal was a little ridiculous. Monique wasn't too friendly and didn't give me my recipt. I grabbed it myself when she left after the transactions (she didn't tell the other employee I ordered extra topping and layered). It was a little disrespectful. I doubt I will visit Jamba juice in the afternoon time frame. Her employee (I didn't get her name) was very kind and did a great job in trying to mediate the situation. I've had nothing but positive experiences since I first went to that jamba juice. I was a little shocked at this time. Wasn't our first time here, but customer service was exceptional this time. We used the $2 colada coupon & opted for the $3 Medium size and we substituted with a different fruit. So when they handed us an orange drink when we specifically knew it should be pink, we pointed it out to them. Yesterday I went in to get a drink at around 4 the guy at the register tall black guy named Isaí ( I know I misspelled his name) I wish I could say I never had ever met him. I asked for my drink and he charged me three times what I pay then when I said it was wrong he looked at me like to bad I already rang it up so deal with it. I don't frequent this area as much as I used to but when I do, I'm always satisfied with how they make my drinks. It always tastes like perfection and cures my sweet tooth and sour cravings! But, I debated if I should keep a star or not because I walked in and it was fairly awkward because I wasn't sure if the lady in front of me was in line or not. There's a lot of Jamba Juices in the Bay Area, but this one is different than others. It actually has a list of secret menu items! (Although it is kept behind the register). Normally, I would not come to this one to get a regular menu on the drink because I feel like their drinks lack flavor (I don't know why it does), but the reason I keep coming back is for their secret menu, and basically only that. When I go to other Jamba Juices, they mainly have to "usual" secret menu items you can find at everyone of them, which is White Gummi/All the gummies, Pink Star, Skittles & Sour Patch. Some Jamba Juices don't even tell you what they have because they want you to google it, then tell you they don't have it. This one, you just ask for the secret menu, and they give you a paper with a list of them. There's not five, or ten of them, but almost THIRTY different secret menu drinks. I have tried Hawaiian Punch, Sour Patch Watermelon, Peach Rings, Mango Tango & a lot more that only this Jamba Juice offers. This is one of the only Bay Area Jamba Juice with a huge selection of secret menu drinks, and actually has all the ingredients for it. Having been to Jamba Juice locations in multiple states and as a former employee, I can say that this is one of the worst Jambas I've been to. As mentioned by other Yelpers, the customer service is horrible. The employees were rude to each other and had major attitudes with customers. We had to wait beyond 15 minutes and it wasn't even busy. It's like they hadn't stocked or prepared anything that morning before the store opened. I ended up throwing my smoothie and acai bowl away since they were made incorrectly. Also, the cleanliness was questionable; the place smelled like a dirty mop had been used and the outside area was nasty. You've been warned. read more

I come here all the time because it's the closest to me it's Always crowded on hot days but never enough employees for the amount of customers. Literally waited in line for 15 minutes because the cashier stopped the line to go and wash dishes then waited another 15 minutes for my drink.
