I'm a regular customer here. I work down the street and regularly come in at least two to three times per week. I enjoy my mango-a-gogo, or fresh squeezed orange juice blended with some peaches. I would say I've been coming to Jamba since I was 12 back in 1998. I won't give you 5 stars because I've NEVER been asked if I would like to add an upgrade my drink by adding some type of BOOST, which is a Jamba staple. I will give you 4 stars because I've never had bad service here. I will say that I like the speed at which they work with considering some of the morning to afternoon summer mid-day traffic. They also have some challenging customers at this location and I've seen the staff go above and beyond to please these types of people which is why I give you a 4 stars for effort. What happened to our Jamba Juice??? Where did all that good.. friendly vibe.. that makes you feel like you're becoming healthier by just entering the greenish environment disappear to??? Maybe it's this particular location because me and my wife did not feel welcomed at all at this used to be friendly place. I've ordered the Peanut Butter smoothie and my wife got the Apple and Greens and they both were fantastic. The peanut butter smoothie had a rich thick creamy peanut butter taste followed by a strong banana flavor kick which is a superb match, more felt like drinking a protein shake. Trying to remember a sip I had of the Apple and Greens but can't really get the grasp of it.. and I don't like to leave a biased review so I'll let my wife handle that part since she enjoyed drinking it. Very good customer service. The cashier was very helpful and nice. The person giving me the drink gave me a bigger size because they made extra smoothie. I've never waited longer than 5 in the busiest place. They were kind of rude; no customer service skills. We were greeted when walking in, but that's where the friendliness ended. This is where I come to get my regular fix for Razzmatazz if I am in the area...The guy that served me was very friendly, when he saw me at the counter he stopped what he was doing and came over to greet me and asked how I'm doing. I placed my order and he made it pretty quickly and I was on my way... I just thought this was worth noting because some places I have been to, the people would ignore you for a good while before they come over to help and take your order. Which is so annoying!! I would have gave it zero stars if I could. Walked into Jamba Juice to hear loud music blaring throughout the store. Don't know if I was greeted or not because I could barely hear anything over the music which had cursing every other word. There were young children in the store as well. The manager (in the black polo shirt) who took my order looked very unpleasant and was singing along to the music as she was helping me. One worker green shirt was too small and she had on slides with mix match socks. It's a regular Jamba Juice - kind of small, but sufficient. Best part is that it is very convenient to the Oakland airport. So that I could order two larges, have them split into two smalls each, and still be delightfully cold when I pulled up to the terminal curb. The worst energy bowl I've ever had. The manager, an older Asian(sorry) man was extremely rude to the other employees that were obviously training. He kept belittling her in front of customers and aloud. Employees reflect the training they are given. So they're obviously under poor leadership. It was horrible! Then he made my bowl. I frequent Jamba for my fix of orchard oasis. It is rare that I find an attendant that is familiar with this tropical concoction, but through persistence I can find someone in the store that can manage. However this time I was met by a flamboyant Kendrick Lamar Afro centric type that responded by saying "I never heard of that" with a look of displeasure on his face like I ruined his day. I then look up the secret recipe online, where I find a caption saying, " if you want to order one, show them the recipe and they'll be more then happy to make it." unfortunately he was pissed he was stumped on his own menu and made a terrible orchard oasis. I love JJ!!! I love this location especially. I walk in, and they greet me by my name...LOL! I do go there a lot, but for all of them to make a point to greet me by name is a great gesture of good customer service.
