Located on the corner of Balboa and Nordhoff right across the street from Target. The store itself is kind of small, so it can be kind of annoying waiting in line when there are a bunch of people packed in there. On the other hand, the employees were great. Sadly, I had one really bad, DISGUSTING experience here and sadly I will never go back! I work all day Saturday and it's very difficult for me to take a break, I went to get a Jamba Juice because it usually hold me over. I was very disappointed with the product they delivered (Worthy of a 1 star warning review) however, I contacted the store manager and explained my situation, at first she was taken back by my concerned, but she did handle the situation, had a quick response, was very apologetic and delivered good customer service, due to that additional star rating is being given! Like I said, I order a Power size Caribbean Passion with Energy and Vitamin Boost, to eat I got a tomato cheddar twist. Pricing is a little on the expensive side, for those two items it came out to $8 and change. The lady at the register put the food I had ordered in the toaster while another employee there made my my smoothie. The girl was much more friendlier than the guy making the smoothie was, the turnaround time from when I placed my order to when I received my food and smoothie was almost instantaneous! I noticed the guy placed the straw in the drink, placed the drink in front of me and quickly walked into the back. That struck me as off considering they usually call out the drink and say something like "enjoy," or "have a great day," etc., but it was early and I was the only one in there, common since would say the drink was mine right? I took the smoothie and food, got in my car and proceeded to drive to work. I went to take the top half of the straw wrapping off and notice this dark red residue on the paper. I didn't think much of it and then when I went to look at my drink there was the same residue on the rim of the lid and stained on the cup. Grossed out, convinced it's blood because that's what it appeared to be, I called them up. The shift leader invited me back and offered to remake the smoothie for me, since I was no where in the area at that point I declined the offer and mentioned that I wouldn't be by after work either, she was very apologetic and assured me that they have a strict protocol for members when they have any injuries on their hands, they are to immediately go to the back, tend to the wound and wear a glove over it. Recalling how quickly he went to the back basically reassured my blood residue theory! I asked if I could be refunded for the smoothie since I had no intention to drink it and was going to toss it out. She asked me fore the credit card number the transaction was on and a phone number to get back to me. She was kind enough to refund the full total of my purchase even though I told her I was more than willing to pay for the food. The way she handle the situation is definitely a 5 star rating, unfortunately I didn't get the 5 star experiences with the food and smoothie! read more

Great customer service would like you to feel special and happy in the morning. However, the cashier was not so friendly, seemed very sour of her morning and rude. You can totally see it in her facial expressions that she hated her job. She got our order wrong and instead of just making it right, she kept insisting to charge us more. Apparently the staff is on another level of incompetence. They don't accept bills larger than a $20 because they have accepted too many counterfeits in the past. I work in the shopping center and have visited Jamba a few times before my shift starts- they always make my Coldbuster so yummy! Never chunky, like some stores do. Everything is consistent here. Things taste "as they should". Tried the low fat mango a go go.. it wasnt tasty.. no one's fault. Just want my cup of tea. My only qualm is that in the numerous times I have visited this place, it smells like "dirty mop". Not jambariffic. read more

Service was fine, but they should be trained to make their smoothies correctly. I ordered a screaming orgasm (off of the secret menu) and they made me a pink star. I sent it back because it obviously wasn't what I had asked for, and they bring me back ANOTHER PINK STAR. Obviously they didn't get it. There wasn't even a hint of orange in the so called "screaming o". Made my terrible drive to LA even worse. I'm convinced that Los Angeles just sucks altogether. Worst location to visit. I had a birthday drink went in to get it, they had a system issue. My drink was already made and sitting there, the cashier "Ali" a Pakistani American kid rudely says you must be mistaking. I showed him the email, then he says aww u must have used it. I have not. After 5 minutes I wasn't given my drink and was asked to pay for it! What I came in for the offer not just because! and I just left. I was in the process of calling corporate so I walked back in to get the store number and heard they are bad mouthing me after they thought I left the store. I usually call in my order so i can just pick it up and keep heading to work. I called this morning and they said I have to order on the app... like what?!? I don't have the app and I rather not try to download it and register while i'm driving. So, I just said ok i'll order at the store. I get to this location, order a sausage and cheese wrap and a ginger shot. Then I get told the wrap is still frozen and if I want to order something else. well no I don't!! (I said it nicely of course).. i canceled my order all together. This could of been avoided if they just let me ordered my food on the phone when I first called. The staff usually checks if they have the wraps and they would of told me it's still frozen. When did that no ordering on the phone even start?!?! Doesn't Jamba open at 6:30am.. I came close to 8am, shouldn't everything be ready for costumers?? Maybe I'm having a bad morning but that really pissed me off since i got to work hungry and irritated. This was the absolute worst customer service experience I have had my whole life. The employee ZOILA made my juice in which I paid extra to add ginger to, mind you this juice was almost $10. As I watched her add the ginger she basically poured an empty cup for the ginger they keep on the side on top of my juice and three drops of ginger came out. I kindly asked her for more and she with MAJOR attitude turned to the centrifugal juicer and threw 2 tiny nubs of ginger and ran the device for a couple seconds in which another couple drops of ginger came out and abruptly brought it back to me. I even tasted it to give her benefit of the doubt and told her I don't taste ginger in here and I paid extra she then told me she would have to charge me again for extra ginger. What planet does she live on??? I told her I paid extra and how much are you supposed to get when you pay extra she replied "2 ounces" and then told me she put a lot of ginger in there, I told her I watched her the entire time and specifically came in here for a juice with ginger and only a couple drops of ginger were poured in my drink, no where near 2 ounces and not what I paid for. When I asked for the manager she said she was the manager. I shouldn't have to feel harassed by an employee over something I PAID FOR. This is also fraudulent behavior to charge someone for something and instead of fulfilling the order I PAID FOR, refuse to fulfill it and demand that I pay more AGAIN?!?! Is this for real??? As a business owner of two businesses if I ever saw one of my employees treating a customer so poorly and engaging in fraudulent tactics I would have fired them on the spot! Not ok! Who put this person in charge?!?? She doesn't get it and doesn't understand the fundamentals of fair business practice, ethics and customer service. read more

i love jamba! my favorite is mango-a-gogo with extra pineapple juice and they always get the consistency correct here. they have tables and chairs outside to remind yourself that you can wear flip flops, drink jamba juice outside and enjoy the california sun during winter. parking is no problem as the parking lot is huge. read more
