I absolutely love this place! So many drink options! In addition desserts and regular food options! My favorites are the Mixed fruit tea with fresh cut fruit inside! My kiddos love the Oreo and strawberry smoothies. The price is affordable the ingredients are not heavy or overwhelmingly sweet. The place has ample seat inside. Every clean and organized good luck picking with the large options inside. Staff is quick and polite.

It's Boba Time is located in Northridge, by the mall. When we arrived to the shopping center parking was a bit challenging, it could be from people parking there from the apartments nearby. The business was so crowded, so we knew we were in for a treat! We placed our order on the mobile screen inside of the restaurant. It was super clean inside and they have a case upfront of yummy looking desserts! We finished placing our order and it was out in less than 5 minutes. We ordered the Almond Milk Tea with boba and oat milk, and the Horchata Smoothie with boba. The almond milk tea was really good but you couldn't really taste the almond flavor, and tasted just like a normal milk tea. The amount of boba was perfect as well! The horchata smoothie was so yummy! It was creamy and tasted delicious especially with the boba! Both drinks were super refreshing on a hot day! We can't wait to go back and try some more boba drinks! It's so convenient that it's close by!

I love coming here for their strawberry snowflake--it's my go-to every time! It used to come with bits of cheesecake (which I miss!), but now it's just strawberry, boba, and a scoop of strawberry ice cream. Even without the cheesecake, it's still my favorite. The shaved ice is just like a snowflake--so soft, light, and it melts in your mouth. My husband got the mango snowflake, which came with sweet, juicy mango slices and boba. He really enjoyed it too. Both flavors are refreshing, not overly sweet, and perfect on a warm day. Service is always quick and friendly, and the portions are generous. Definitely one of our favorite dessert spots!

We like It's Boba Time and this location. Whether they are busy or not, they always provide excellent customer service. Thank you Alyssa, the sweet cashier who recommended we try Golden Eagle Milk Tea. We ordered our usual Thai Milk Tea Iced, Strawberry Milk Tea with strawberry popping boba, Boba Coffee and Golden Phoenix. Of course we love our usual and go to drinks. They are always made just right with the perfect level of sweetness. Not too sweet. The Golden Phoenix Milk Tea is also good. It's not too sweet and has an oolong taste to it.

They have great Boba here. I've loved Boba time for a long time. they never disappoint me with their Boba. They always have parking in that parking lot. Sometimes it might be a little busy, but if you wait, someone will get to help you quickly. Inside, you can also use the screens on the side of the registers and that's a lot faster. Inside it's really pretty and the ambience is great. Not only their Boba is great, but so is there macaroons and crêpe cakes along with all their other desserts and food. Overall, good place to go for snacks.

A good refreshing drink with this scorching heat. I am not usually a fan of Boba drink. But since my daughter started working in one, I usually come to support the business and spend some time with her. And on top of that, I get 50% off. Yay!! How wonderful is that? I always get something from the top 20 menu. And so far, I haven't had anything that I didn't like. One time, I got Avocado smoothie. It is filling and healthy. They sell other stuff besides the Boba drinks like macaroons, cakes, fries, popcorn chicken, açaí bowl, etc... They have enough tables inside to accommodate patrons. And 2 tables outside to enjoy the weather when it is friendly. Gender neutral facility. Plenty of parking spaces. Recommended.

BBQ Chicken Sandwich Dragon Fruit Bowl

I am super impressed by their amazing array of menu options which to my surprise are all amazing. The Bbq Chicken Sandwich is delicious and the dragon fruit bowl leaves you breathless.

Matcha Taro Milk Tea

It's Boba Time is doing a collab event with Borderlands this month. I did a pickup order of one of the special drinks, the taro matcha milk tea, and it was delicious. I'd requested the special events coaster but didn't get it; not totally sure why but it's not a big deal. I also ordered popcorn chicken and fries which were fantastic but I really miss the spicy dry seasoning this location used to have; the sweet chili sauce just isn't hitting the same spot.

As always the staff was very nice and the place was clean. This time I tried the new Fresh Taro Black Tea Latte. Taro, milk and black tea. Nice and sweet. I could taste the bits of taro too.

Ask the Community - It's Boba Time - Northridge

Does the almond milk tea use almond milk, or is it just almond-flavored with regular milk?

Hello, we use organic almond milk. Thank you.

Do you still serve the Mango shave ice here?

Hello, yes we do. Thank you!

Which flavors of milk tea (using almond milk) would be safe for someone allergic to dairy?

Hello Katherine, please give me another day or two. I’ll check the the ingredients of the milk tea and get back to you. Thank you!

I order on postmates & ask for no dairy and for my drink to be made with almond milk. Today I had a weird reaction to my drink and wondered if it was because they used "non-dairy" creamer (which still has milk but no lactose) - can anyone clarify?

Hello, what was the drink? We used lots of almond milk due to many requests to non-dairy related drinks. If you tell me the drink that you ordered I could specify the ingredients. Thank you!

What happened to the free upgrade when you check in with yelp?

As of 7/6/20 they were still giving it, just does not show on the app. I checked in and showed them when I went and they gave me the free upgrade as usual. Hopefully they still do or they need to start offering a punch card to be competitive with…

Are you open and if so what time do you close?

we open 10:30 AM - 10PM everyday !!…

Does this location have avocado smoothies?

We have Avocado smoothie and Avocado shake !

Is the coconut fresh out of a coconut?

We use fresh watermelon, kiwi, strawberry, blueberry, banana, mango and fresh vegetables. For coconut drinks we use coconut powder, but we also have shredded coconut as a topping.

Excellent…read morecustomer service and consistent in providing both excellent customer service and really delicious milk tea and specialty iced coffee drinks. Thank you Angel. As soon as we walked into the establishment we were greeted and welcomed. The baristas answered all our questions regarding ingredients and food allergies. Also, plenty of parking spots available. Inside the establishment there's plenty of huge seats like couches while waiting for your drinks. Many just hanging out with friends playing board games while sipping their milk teas and specialty iced coffee drinks. The milk teas and specialty iced coffee drinks we've tried and enjoyed are the Ube Coffee, Coffee Brûlée, Bobo Coffee, Caramel Milk Tea, and Strawberry Milk Tea. We enjoyed the specialty coffee drinks because they were not too sweet. You can taste the espresso along with the ube and brulee yet it's not overwhelming taste. It's a good balance. We added Bobo The Boba to our list of go to milk teas and iced coffee drinks in the SFV and have shared this place to our social circles. We look forward to trying other items on their menu.

Update to review:…read more After hearing from owner Jay, I thought I'd elaborate here: The shop is probably a paradise for the little ones and their parents: Lots of cartoon-y imagery and colorful walls, and toys to buy; and a kind of 'lounge' that was quite adult in it's design which made for a little cognitive dissonance..that, plus the signs to please not jump on the furniture, lol. My visit was on one of those blisteringly hot days in August. I just wanted a boba milk or fruit tea, and there were a bewildering number of menu items that, granted, I reviewed in a cursory fashion because I was on a mission to get a boba and get back under that blistering sun to continue my errand run. I scanned for something to satisfy my thirst without packing on 500 calories, and noted that most items displayed seemed to have cream or custard, or all sorts of dessert-y items. It wasn't until I was finished with whatever it was I got -- some kind of fruity slushy with boba -- that I saw the small menu listing for milk or fruit teas. So my bad for that, but my observation still stands: This is a Gen Z sort of business with plexiglass partitions and the impersonal, contactless pay system -- do they take cash? -- that's for the convenience of the business, and not necessarily the customer, at least this customer who's obviously not their target market. Most people my age are watching their calories and macro nutrients, and proobably don't even drink boba drinks. They still use cash and even in a kid-oriented business, appreciate signage that is simple enough to read without every item screaming for attention. Finally, the contactless pay system so beloved by businesses that embraced it since Covid, really makes for an impersonal experience, IMHO, and does little to build customer loyalty. The young man who took my order was absent from the premises when I arrived and took awhile to show up. He then answered my questions, but didn't make the effort to ask me if he could help me find what I was looking for. That's another hallmark of businesses left to be run by inexperienced hands. The actual experience of the customer walking into a shop and giving you business should be thought through as carefully as the marketing, the menu, or design of the business. That's where the bucks get exchanged to keep the business thriving, no? All this said -- I think I am just too old for Bobo the Boba. I am not their target demographic and peeps under 40 may be fine with Bobo. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~` Too fussy too Gen Z. Wanted a boba but navigating menu of frilly creamy mixes was a turn off. Wanted lower calorie drink options but didn't see until after I ordered.

I came here on Easter Sunday (today)…read more And let me just say, the customer service provided by Adrian and Sophia was amazingly beyond exceptional!!!! These days, I'm scared about coming to food places only because I have A LOT of dietary restrictions. And because of that, I need to ask employees the ingredients that go into various foods and drinks. This typically makes feel really bad, and the employees need to do extra work than needed because of what I'm dealing with. BUT Sophia, and Adrian did not mind that at all. They were able to answer all of my questions, and helped me out so much!!!! :D I was able to find something that I can have, and I was super happy as a result of that. So once again, SHOUT OUT TO ADRIAN AND SOPHIA FOR THE AMAZING SERVICE THEY GAVE TO ME, AND ANY OTHER CUSTOMER THEY SERVE!!!!! 10/10. And if you're a decent human, you should definitely make it a point to give the staff a tip because it is truly well deserved!!! Keep up the good work Adrian and Sophia!!!!
