The cashier took my order, and the staff was quick to prepare a bowl. Things looked organized and clean. My strawberry blueberry waffle bowl was delish! It has small waffle pieces mixed in with fruit, granola, & honey. First time trying it and got it with Greek yogurt for extra protein. This port authority location is very convenient. I've had their smoothies in the past and love them, so I decided to stopped by to grab a quick bite to eat. I got the impossible "handwhich" the 1st time. With taxes, it came out to about 6 bucks. When I received it, I was disappointed at how small it was! No wonder they call it a "handwhich". It was under the bites section, but I didn't anticipate that I'd actually finish it in a couple bites. Although super yummy (I could eat 5 of them), it was definitely way overpriced. read more

I always stop by this Jamba Juice located inside Port Authority in midtown Manhattan . The staff immediately attends to your order and makes it fast! I love the Kale-Rribean Breeze Smoothie and i change the greek yogurt to coconut base since I can't have lactose based ingredient- it is made of passion fruit juice,fresh kale, fresh mangoes and chia seeds. This smoothie is very filling and great for breakfast especially if you are on the go! I love drinking Jumba juice but I feel like it's VERY overpriced. My drinks are never really full even though they still have plenty left in the mixer after pouring which they just trough away. Also I got several oatmeal's which were only half full and after I asked them if they could fill it up because that's what I'm paying for they told me they are allowed to only pour two servings which resembles only half of a container. This is a great Jamba Juice. Conveniently located inside Port Authority and staffed by really friendly people who greet you with a smile. It's clean, it's easy to navigate (it is just one room, after all) and it has lots of great, healthy meal and snack options. On my visit, I ordered the Kale-ribbean Breeze, one of their "Whole Nutrition" smoothies. It has passion fruit juice, mango, greek yogurt, chia seeds, and kale. The small size (which is plenty) has 320 calories and 10g of protein. It felt like a really health meal choice and it was delicious, too. I also had one of their parmesan pretzels, which they warm up for you, and that was a tasty companion to the smoothie. Got my order wrong 3 times, they gave me one discounted drink as an apology. Being at port authority (and especially during rush hours) the number of people trying to get a drink could end up having you wait about ten minutes, a pretty long time for a smoothie. This place always seems somewhat understaffed, the workers tend to scramble about trying to make a dozen smoothies at the same time, and in the rush would get an order wrong. When they do get the order right it's pretty good, I usually get the PB love in large which is almost 9 dollars. A lot for a drink but it's worth it if you want a heavy smoothie and don't have the time to make it yourself. All in all when in a rush I would go again, even at the risk of a mix up. THIS LOCATION IS THE WORST! I like the juices and the prices. Unlike most places they serve a more than adequate serving of wheatgrass. I will say this location is rather slow. It is certainly more of a wait. They sometimes forget you ordered and need a better system. The fruit sometimes look rotten. Jamba Juice just open inside the Port Authority Bus Terminal, PABT, 40th street, south wing on 8th ave. The place is all new with a nice and friendly staff all with big smiles. They took the time to explain the difference between the juices, smoothies, and veggie drinks and even the energy bowls. They also have live wheat grass for shots so you cannot get fresher than that. I decided on trying a Caribbean Passion smoothie. It is delicious, I'm sipping it down as I wait for my bus to Jersey. read more

Only recently I'm into juicing, not smoothies JUICING! Got off the bus and really needed a little boost. Was so excited to see Jamba Juice right in Port Authority. Two separate lines one to the right for food and smoothies one to left is juicing station. I had mine with an extra boost. Freshly made juice with spinach, citrus,Apple , ginger a couple other delicious ingredients. They aren't cheap but when your body is craving something good it is so worth it. I use to come to this location religiously. The problem is, the staff has a high turn over rate and the drinks get lost in translation. Just when one employee starts to get familiar making my drink, the person quits and the store has to start from ground one again. The employees also get kinda lazy by leaving the cover to the freezer open so it's easier for them to scoop the yogurt/ice cream needed for each drink. Then the drinks become all liquidity instead of a thick smoothie. This really doesn't help them retain their clients because the drinks become such a letdown. The drinks aren't exactly cheap, so people aren't paying all of this for a watered down smoothie that's the furthest thing from a smoothie. read more

I have been craving the hot drinks which had not hit CA by the time I left. So trying the chais out were a top priority. Zomgz -- they are so delicious. I can't help but stop here in the morning and spring for either the original chai or the chocolate chai which has become my treat of the morning for just waking up. Fruit smoothies here are pricey, but more reasonable compared to other NYC locations. If you sign up on Jamba Insider, you get a free birthday smoothie and $3 off. I haven't used the coupons yet though. Since this is bus terminal location, service is quick. I got the Peach Mango Smoothie and Strawberry Raspberry Banana. The smoothies are as expected and smallest size is fairly filling. Great location for travelers. read more

It's a hit or miss depending on what time you go. Considering its inside port authority, I guess it's expected with the influx of travelers. Sometimes theres no line no wait while other times it can take up to 20 minutes before you get your drink. If you have half an hour or more before your bus, consider stopping by for a drink. But now there is also a Starbucks open in Port Authority so that is also a good alternative. read more
