My granddaughter loves it here. We stop by occasionally during the weekly downtown farmer's markets to get her a treat and we are always treated kindly. read more

Really disappointing experience at Jamba. All three of us ordered the PB & Banana smoothy. What we got could best be described as a semi-frozen glass of whole milk. There wasn't even a hint of banana, and maybe the slightest taste of peanut butter. All smoothies were the same, so it wasn't just one bad drink. Mine was with soy protein and the others whey, no different in taste or texture. We debated going back inside and asking them to remake the smoothies, but we had places to be and didn't have time. After drinking them we all felt bloated and like we were going to puke. For what these smoothies cost, I expect them to at least taste like what we ordered. Unfortunately, this experience was bad enough that I think this will be my last time going to Jamba. Monterey needs a solid healthy smoothy/juice establishment. read more

Always love the fresh smell. However, their selections need to change a bit. Items are getting a little boring. The fresh fruits don't taste as fresh in the smoothies. Nonetheless, Jamba is like an oldie but goodie. This location in particular is clean and well maintained. read more

I went to this Jamba location this past Saturday morning and specified that my child had an allergen to bananas and we did order a banana free smoothie, however, my son still had a slight reaction to the smoothie (seemingly because of cross contamination). However, the other young lady who served our drink reassured us there was no banana but asked the woman in charge why it wasn't made in the back like it should have been following the procedure. Since my child doesn't have an extreme allergy I thought he would be OK but he still had a slight reaction and am disappointed with the level of care and the woman in charge. Again, kudos to the young woman who served us for speaking up read more

Plain rude. The girl yelled at me that they were closed but the open sign was on. I thought it was me but my boys who are 7 and 10 said she was rude. My husband who was on the cell phone with me heard her yell too. Get retrained on customer service, I used to work for Jamba Juice and never treated anybody like this. This happened on Wednesday, April 5, 2023. read more

I don't come here often but I'm always glad I do. The place is clean, staff is friendly and the smoothies are good. Medium Pineapple smoothie with a free boost for less than $8?! I'll take it. Great selection of smoothies, a few snacks too. I have also gotten wheatgrass shots here, super tasty, be sure to get an orange wedge with it! read more

The drinks are usually good. I don't think the drinks are consistent though. What I got today vs what I got a few days prior were two completely different things. Judging from other reviews, I can see I'm not the only one complaining about it. I never sit inside, so I can't comment on that. Service is quick though read more

I got a protein shake from the place, not made right. Not consistent. It wasn't like how it was a few days prior. I believe it was called the zone. The employee's are helpful. Service was ok, just off day I guess?? read more

I don't know which employee does this... but it literally made this very preggers woman's day:) I love the açaí bowl and the green juice is so refreshing! Thank you for the little smiley face:) read more

Bowl was super soupy and runny. Very few toppings. Worker was snotty as soon as we walked in. I will definitely visit other Jambas, but not this location ever again. Waste of money. read more

Haven't been here in over 10 years but I was happy to be back! The girls here were total sweethearts! Really friendly and helpful in giving suggestions and whatnot. I only caught Eden's name but, yeah, wonderful staff! Loved the smoothies; the peach smoothie was a nice recommendation. read more

Ran in for a drink on Thursday after 5:30pm. Stood in front of two employees at a register who did not acknowledge me at all. The third one was working near the other two. No one acknowledged me at all. The two girls walked away and went into the back. The employee who eventually helped me was incredibly surly and unpleasant. $8.00 for a drink with a free side of nasty attitude. I'll definitely pass next time. read more

Not as good as the Jamba Juice in Seaside. The drinks are watered down at the Monterey location.

Food is great and the juice, but server is very bad, needs training good customer service! Very rude cashier

As always, delicious smoothies, friendly staff and fast service! Jamba is also always pristinely clean. We love it!

Please excuse my sophisticated tone, but... IS THIS A FUCKING JOKE? Oy. (The picture below is of the cleaning instructions for my new reusable cup. That were in the smoothie I just drank.) read more

Such a creative and so need breath of fresh air for our community. The absolute best bread I've ever sank my teeth Into! The fries are the best I've ever had, so flavorful and perfectly crisp, the aioli is super good too! I had the Purest sandwich, it was super tasty, again on that delicious bread! We had chicken strips which were crisp on the outside and juicy tender on the inside. For a complete different sandwich try the CBD, it's on a donut, panko crusted chicken savory and sweet combined. can't wait for them to open for dinner!! The wine and beverage list is so extensive and so carefully thought out. Everything about Breadsong is awesome, something so needed in Carmel. read more

You know a good thing is like alot like a loving relationship,. A storm after a long dry spell and water poured on a potential fire! These are all like a Jamba smoothie from this location. Our family moved to Monterey in 76' I have this totally help aunt who used to make me avocado and banana smoothies. Rich satisfying and nourishing , silky to the palette and of else very refreshing. The mgr girl Tracy? Always goes above all else to please me as I used to be the delivery boy at this location for Order Grove Pharmacy Back in 1981 Once my smoothie was short. I was compensated, once it was too sour! So today Tracy remade my bad smoothie for another day. If you're going to go to Jamba, this is the best one. Just find a 24 min parking area walk over and get ready for great customer service as well as s dynamite smoothie! read more

Quick service and this location offers online ordering! I recommend downloading the app if you frequent Jamba, you will receive points for purchases :) parking is always hit or miss, somehow I usually get lucky though :) Also, they always make my order consistently great!! I've been to other Jambas where the same order (I'm a creature of habit) tasted different every damn time I ordered it?! *TIP* if you haven't already, try the Chunky Strawberry bowl....it's life giving! read more

Nice job JJ. Keep serving up those smoothies and especially those waffles.

I stop in often at all Jamba Locations due to work, this Alvarado location always has the most inconsistent service and product representation. At this point in time, I often go out of my way to visit the Sand City or North Salinas location. Too many disappointments. read more

I will have to say that I come here once a week. Cheerful staff and friendly. Smoothies always usually taste good, sometimes the fruit doesn't get blended all the way. Overall a good spot to come. I enjoy their all fruit smoothies and a cup of their steel cut oats. read more

It's Jamba Juice. No complaints.

Okay so I just don't have the heart to give this location lower then 2 stars but 2 may be a slight stretch.... Trust me I want to love it here since I drink a lot of smoothies because of digestive issues, so I hit this place up A LOT ;) I spend on average about $50+ a week in your store. I know it's seems small however I've been consistent. In fact I've been so much so that some of the staff know me and will grab my drink from the pre order fridge when I walk in door. Not a total Cheers but we're getting there... The majority of the staff is great. They lack consistency in their product. So even if I walk in and order from register I cannot get them to stop making my drinks extremely runny... It's like their liquid to ice and ice cream ratio is way off. Every single time, even when resorting to ordering from the register. Also I can no longer order their " White Gummy " from the app for the people in my life that don't care is their smoothie is runny, can only order from inside the store.... I do realize there is a second location in Sand City and by far my favorite, it's just a little far since I live in PG. Oh well there's my review, just fix the " consistency " and talk to your software department and there's a chance we can turn this around. read more

Jamba I am extremely disappointed....paper straws do not work!!! If I spend seven dollars on a drink I expect that the straw that is served with it will make it through the life of the beverage. This paper straw did not even make it halfway through my drink. There are other options for plant-based straws that work like plastic. These paper straws have to go! read more

Super sunny day and I came in not knowing what I wanted but the girl with the braids was extremely helpful. As soon as I came in she came to help me I told her how I wasn't too sure of what I wanted and what she could recommend. Chloe at Jamba was courteous professional accurate and efficient. Thank you for choosing your staff wisely.

I just stopped by Jamba and as you could imagine when it's 95 degrees out (actually 78 degrees but anything over 70 degrees in Monterey is considered desert like heat aka too freakin' hot), it's a zoo in there... A party of three arrived, well I saw them when I parked my car outside and was like great, they are going to walk in before me... which they did... 2 young ladies dressed in their summer chic dresses with matching flats and the skinny dude they walked in with... now not sure what happened but I'm guessing it was their special order that too so freakin long but the guy in front of me and I had a nice conversation or three while we waited. Literally over 10 minutes for them to order and they signed their CC receipt 3 minutes after... it was unreal. The young lady at the cash register handled them well and apologized for the wait, smiled too so it made everything ok but I'm blaming the loud blenders for her having to triple check each order. I got two things, one I could pound right away because I was parched and another to enjoy a few minutes later. I got one of my go-tos "Peenya Kolada" or however they spell it (off the menu-board, but an orignial they kept) and I tried the Prickly Pear Tea which rocked. I was afraid that it would be too sweet but it was perfect, slight tart, a hint of sweetness and uber refreshing. The GM allowed me to sample the Prickly Pear juice part of the concotion... that was nice of her. read more

Jamba Juice finally got rid of styrofoam cups! At least at this location. About time their actions caught up with all their healthy living rhetoric. (Polystyrene foams don't degrade quickly and are harmful to the environment. Plus, benzene, which is used to produce styrene, is a known carcinogen. I'll take my smoothie without a side of cancer. Thanks.) read more

Wow the customer service is really poor... at this location ...need to hire some adults VS high school kids that know about customer service .. waiting to order and they stand around looking like deer in the headlights ... while they had no users when another person walked up to ask a question and helped them instead of the people in line awaiting to order read more

I loooooove Jamba Juice smoothies, but I'm not a huge fan of this location. First of all, it's downtown, so parking can be a huge hassle if you're in your car and want to run in for a smoothie. Secondly, it tends to get pretty busy, and they're slooooooooooooooooooow. It's a mystery to me how they can have like 4 people working, but there's only one person making smoothies...... And for a while the was this one girl working there who seriously moved in slow motion, very irritating when you're running late for work! Finally, you know how they rip half the paper off the straw and stick it in your cup before they give it to you? That's great and all, but I wonder if they cover that during training because I've seen way to many times the person struggling with it, and then putting their hands all over the unwrapped part of the straw in an attempt to adjust the paper. Umm, doesn't that defeat the whole point???? read more

Place was hard to find. I mean it was found on the GSP but when you look at the mini mall from the freeway there isn't a sign that there is one here. My friend was jonesin' for one so we came here. I usually don't go to Jamba Juice. Clean, and friendly. Love that they have the calories on their menu. For me it makes a big difference in the choices I make. I ordered 16 oz size which was plenty. I don't like apple juice or peaches so they were able to subsitute items for me which was really nice. read more

Compared to the one in Del Monte Center, the service tends to be slow here. I agree with Kim. They need to get at least two people making the drinks instead of one. But the drinks are as fresh and refreshing as ever and the service is very good. There are 2 tables outside, but right next to the garbage bin and very close to the busy street. Can they move the tables to Alvarado side? read more

Jamba is a pretty popular chain, so the experience you get is pretty average as they standardize things to be pretty straightforward. You go in, order your stuff, get offered an up sale on a protein or something, and you get your drink and go. The drinks are made decently quick and they are what you expect. No real issues with this location, it's ok. read more
