If I could I'd give this 0 stars, I would. The last shift of workers on the weekdays either need to get fired or quit. I get that sometimes customers come in right before closing but IT'S THEIR JOB to work the FULL hours. It's also why they have BUSINESS HOURS. Came in with a couple other friends to each get the same SMOOTHIE. Granted we came in 10 mins before closing but they were still open. We could've ordered different drinks to make it more complicated and to have them clean MORE blenders. The girl making our SMOOTHIES filled the blender to the top to make 3 large drinks so multiple blenders weren't used. The girl stared at the drinks INCLUDING THE CASHIER knowing that they were made incorrectly. It was literally JUICE, not a smoothie! I've worked in the food industry so I know how it feels when customers come in before closing but you have to work until closing. It's your job! We didn't ask to have the drinks re-made because you can sense the hostility. If they hate their job so much QUIT. Corporate needs to get on top of this location because I've come in a few times already and the the attitudes/glares when you walk in. What did the customer do to you? Took a large group of kids here on Friday Aug. 26th around 10:00am and we were treated poorly from the minute we walked in to order. They had no lines and one customer the entire time we were there. We sat our group outside to not take up their space. The girl was rude at the register never said hi, would refuse to split our drinks for kids and finally agreed with attitude. Clearly she was upset that we had a large order. She charged us for too many drinks, but we just let it go since she was already so rude to us. To make matters worse it took them a VERY long time to fill our drinks, the second girl didn't fill half of our cups up she made less then she should have. They would talk under their breath and would not acknowledge anything we ask. The two of them would barely say a word to us and when we even thanked them after treating us terribly both girls ignored me and my staff. I don't understand why they treated us like this. We tried to support a local business, we came at a time they were empty and they mess up our order and they act like we are such a burden. These two girls looked miserable and have terrible customer service they had no problem showing it. They didn't say hello to anyone who walked in after us. After I explained to her what I didn't want on my order she confirmed that it didn't come with it which was not right even having the menu right behind her. Im not one to just throw out bad reviews just because but honestly, I'm upset and no one would answer the phone. My boyfriend ordered a chocolate smoothie and asked for no banana and peanut butter. Everything was great till he was halfway home and started to get an itchy throat and mouth because he has an ALLERGY to BANANAS. He specifically said no bananas in the drink yet they still put it in. He's never had an issue before and always orders the same exact drink wherever he goes but his first time at this Jamba juice and now he has a problem. Jamba Juice is a large chain juice and smoothie concept. This specific location is in Lake Forest off of El Toro. I have been coming to this location for years and it has been consistently decent. The smoothies come out pretty fast and the customer service is always pretty good. Parking is plentiful, but you may not find a spot near Jamba Juice since it is a busy center. The price is a tad on the higher side for it being a large chain. It's priced similar to smaller local smoothie concepts. My favorite smoothies here are the Red Gummy, White Gummy, Pink Starburst, and Strawberry Wave. Overall, it's pretty decent and you should consider trying it. read more

I stopped by here to kill some time while my car was being serviced. They were crazy busy with orders from post mates as well as in-store customers. While an employee was handing a customer her drink, it accidentally fell and the customer was being so rude to her even though it was just an accident. I felt so bad I wanted to give her a hug. The guy working the register had to very nicely urge everyone to stay calm while mopping up the mess and was still incredibly nice to me and other customers amongst the chaos. He politely let me know that it may be a few minutes because of the amount of post mates orders coming in. I forgot to get his name but it's the end of the day now and I'm still admiring how amazing the employees were. My mother still loves to regale friends with the tale of how I had to be taken to the emergency room as a three year old for shoving peas so far my up my nose I needed a medical procedure to remove them. One pea-oscopy and over 40 years later, my opinion of this food group hasn't changed much. I have always sought out creative ways to get my fruits and veggies and some times it leads me to Jamba Juice. Jamba Juice has over 800 locations in the United States, the Bahamas, Canada, the Philippines, Mexico, Taiwan and South Korea and is headquartered out of Emeryville, California. There are 287 company owned locations, 517 franchised locations in the United States and 45 international locations. In 2000, Jamba Juice acquired Zuka Juice, Inc. and three years later was acquired by Services Acquisition Corp. International for 265 million dollars which changed its name to Jamba Inc. On this particular visit I was warmly greeted by all three of the employees in front with my medium Aloha Pineapple order being taken and prepared in a timely manner. There are a few stools inside of the shop and some tables outside for seating with some umbrellas for shade. In my absence, this location at the very least, has made some interesting changes. The first change was the styrofoam cup being replaced by a plastic one which is slightly more environmentally friendly because plastic can be recycled and styrofoam is not recyclable. However, styrofoam is a much better insulator and keeps hot drinks warmer and smoothies colder which was noticed on this visit. I can remember getting Jamba juice in the past in the styrofoam cups and having the thickness really hold up even with the heat of summer while the plastic cup provided zero insulation and even though it wasn't that hot of a day the smoothie was partially melted by the time I arrived at my car. I am not sure the person making my drink was new or if there was some other issue, but I would think this was just a fluke. I would also like them to add a little additional yogurt to the smoothie if they are steering away from the styrofoam cups. And here is another health fallacy I am going to obliterate: smoothies are not so healthy. Here is the breakdown of a small (12 oz.) Aloha Pineapple smoothie vs. a 12 oz. bottle of Coke. Calories: Coke 143 / Smoothie 310 Carbs: Coke 39.9 gm / Smoothie 67 gm Sugars: Coke 39.9 gm / Smoothie 67 gm So basically you would have to drink two bottles of Coke to get the same amount of calories / carbs / sugars in one small smoothie. As my readers know, I don't really care about eating healthy, I care about food tasting great especially if I am eating out. Rohlinism: You can't cheat death, but you can die with a happy palate! The location is somewhat convenient and I am not really sure if there are any other locations nearby so I will probably continue to come here for my daily blended fruits. Don't go here. Orange juice was poured out of a pitcher sitting on the counter, not freshly squeezed. The whole reason we go here is the freshly squeezed OJ machine. When I asked when they squeezed these oranges they said about 45 minutes ago. The manager then told me they use old orange juice up to 2 hours if it's busy. That way they don't get backed up by a lot of morning orange juice orders. We bought ours around 2pm. Manager and staff didn't really care when we asked about this because the OJ tasted bitter. We've had better tasting OJ out of a bottle at the grocery store. Not worth the cost if they aren't going to freshly squeeze it. read more

I have been to this location many times with friends but it hasn't made me feel like coming back. I get off work and try to play tennis with friends IF I can get off work on time. Many times I stay late at work as urgent matters may arise. That being said, the last 3 times I have been to this location have been roughly 10-15 min before closing as I come after tennis. I understand it is coming close to closing hours but I believe if you are still on the clock, you should still be providing service. Close to closing time isn't excuse to pack up and be waiting to leave. That being said, the last 3 times I have come it was with friends and I am given rolling eyes or these flares that pretty much scream for me to leave. It makes me feel totally unwelcome. There is one particular employee that I have seen each time and she is the biggest offender. Besides giving some serious attitude and bad service, the quality of the product suffers as well. I am not sure if this is because she is training or if she thinks she is giving me some sort of payback. The first of the 3 visits, I was given a watermelon breeze about 70% full. I let it go because I felt like it was a one time thing. The second time, same thing. My drink was about 70% full. This third time the drink was full but the drink was almost as liquid as juice I would buy at the store. You could visually see the consistency was incorrect and there were other workers who stared at the drinks while they were being poured because they could see it was wrong. Despite this, they felt it was okay to give my friends and I drinks that were clearly made incorrectly. So 2/3 visits, I get skimped on my drink and the 3rd time I'm given a drink made incorrectly. There was no point in asking them to remake it as I don't plan on coming back to this location. Do not come anywhere within 20 min of closing time as your drink will likely be mediocre at best and you'll get to enjoy the passive aggressiveness of an employee who is ready to leave 20 min before closing. read more

I just went to Jamba Juice today (as well as yesterday). Their WiFi is down so you cannot use coupon or earn points. When this happened and their was a different managed, because she took blame for the inconvenience of not being able to get your points, she gave me the $3 discount. EVERY TIME and I went daily. I worn at HomeGoods in the center and told several associates, who also went to Jamba Juice and for the same discount. That is customer service. Yesterday, they gave me a $3 discount. Today when I went, their WiFi was still down. I asked the cashier to ask the manager if they will give a discount again. The manager came out and told me ' I recognize you from Yesterday. I cannot give you the same discount $3, You can take the receipt and call them to get your discount. '. I wasn't asking for the $3, $1 would have been ok. It was the principle of the matter, the manager taking responsibility for the inconvenience, not inconvenience the customer and make them so the work for $3. I won't be eating at this location any longer. I am on the morning shift (5AM or 6AM, the only place open at that time is Starbucks and Denny's. I will be going to Corner Bakery, Farmers, Denny's or Starbucks on my morning break, since they will be open.
