They used to have good customer service. I saw a sign saying "Sorry temporarily closed 30 minutes". 45 minutes later I see the door open allowing two customers to go in and grab their order. The worker tells me, "Did you order online? Sorry, we're only doing online orders at the moment. It'll take 5-10 minutes." And the manager was there. Terrible communication to the public. Don't you think that should've been written on the door rather than having 5 customers waiting outside? This is the second time in a row I go over and they close on their own terms. Jamba seems to have gotten rid of their non dairy yogurt options so you can't make the smoothies a non dairy frozen yogurt option unless it just contains fruits and non dairy milk, they do offer non dairy milk options but they also run out of products so would need to check what is available Tried the pumpkin smash and pumpkin crunch. I was expecting the pumpkin crunch to look like the picture, white bottom, but the pumpkin crunch and smash and the exact same smoothie except they added a scoop of crunch, looked like oatmeal or granola, the smoothies were lacking in pumpkin flavor and had way too much frozen yogurt just tasted like sweet drinks. Hopefully it was just made wrong I remember having a pumpkin drink last year and it was so good it was like pumpkin pie in a drink. It's Jamba Juice, how could you go wrong? This location is in Koko Marina, closer to the side of Kalanianaole Hwy, nearby Kona Brewing Co. We ordered online and picked up maybe 5 min later. It was fast and ready, which is why they still got more than one star. Also, the taste was fine, so they followed the recipe - great. Again, another reason they don't have just one star. So why only two stars? Disturbingly awful customer service. I can forgive no greetings when we walk in but when we arrived at the pickup area and stood there for a good few minutes, none of the workers even acknowledged us waiting there. Then without asking us, the young man opened the fridge where they kept online orders and placed it on the table. He didn't say A WORD. No eye contact, nothing. He looked like he didn't want to be there. My goodness, customer service at a minimum is what customers deserve. You don't need to be the friendliest nor bubbliest. A simple "thank you", even without eye contact is enough to acknowledge the customer as another human being. In this day and age, it is more and more disheartening how the new generation of customer service is turning out. Please do better to train your employees, Jamba Juice. Invest the extra time to emphasize customer service to your employees because that's what businesses need to realize - that your customers are how you are able to operate. Kalden is a very good worker. I ordered a 50 smoothies for my football team today and told him that I would come back for it. He instead told me that he could make all of it in 2 minutes. Upon hearing this, I did not believe it and just said ok. I stood there shocked while he made all of the 50 drinks in only a 1:42 s. He should get a pay raise. Kalden's customer service is over the top. Kalden is the worker who has glasses and he was very kind to me. Me being from California, Kalden was very helpful and he helped me decide what to order. Jamba Juice has lasted so many years and somewhat has evolved with the times to include boba drinks and açaí bowls. Merchandise such as shirts and plastic jugs have disappeared to include just cups. The basics have stayed the same although the styrofoam cups have disappeared replaced with plastic cups. The drinks though are classic and although you can probably make the smoothies at home somehow having a Jamba tastes better. The classics such as Strawberry Nirvana have disappeared to be replaced with a more jazzed up version. This store with the young staff are polite and really try to be helpful. They actually upsold a cup that I did not need but could not say no. The pineapple drink I ordered tasted like a pina colada and was refreshing. I keep on returning to Jamba even though there are so many drink places out there because it's refreshing and good for you but bad at the same time! read more

Jamba Juice is my daughter's reward from my husband every week. If she behaves and takes a nap at school, he takes her to Jamba Juice after school on Friday. I'm not invited, haha. And they have a lot of other smoothies for adults. I've had their acai bowl there for lunch once. It's not bad. I've had better acai bowls but it's still good. I've also had some smoothies from there. The medium size is big. It's just a lot of sugar and too close to dinner. I just drank less than half and put it in the refrigerator. I learned my lesson though, the next time I just got a kids cup. It's the perfect size and I didn't ruin my dinner appetite. Ordered an Açaí Super Antioxidant drink for the first time and it tasted delicious. Probably my new favorite drink when i get tired of drinking my Peanut Butter Mood. The staff are friendly and there's ample parking. Anyways, I placed my ordered in and noticed there's only 2 workers (the cashier and the assembler). The assembler went out with some lady who ordered the 15 drink fundraiser which is understandable I guess. Then 5 minutes past by since my order and the assembler had just returned. The cashier at this point just kept on taking orders which piled up into 6-7 drinks plus an Açaí bowl. It was roughly 10 minutes now and I noticed that the assembler is not making my drink so I go and ask what's the status on my drink and pointed at everyone that I ordered before all these guys even walked into the store. The assembler did apologize and stated that she missed my order that was on the top of the list I guess. She also gave me this free small smoothie card which I didn't want to take, but she insisted and didn't want it back. I did notice some minor confusion or miscommunication between both female workers, but for the most part, they stood in their lane and did their job the best that they could. I think it all started with that huge fundraiser order that they had earlier. This is an OK Jamba Juice, it's located near the lighthouse trail in a strip mall near other food places as well. There is no bathroom here, which is something to note because we were with two small children, making nearby restrooms a necessity. But having no bathroom at this Jamba Juice is not unique, which we found out. There are no restrooms at many of the nearby establishments, including the restaurant next door. Which is highly odd for a person from California such as myself. Apparently this is normal for Hawaii businesses as a whole and here, like many other places we visited during our stay, there was no restroom and it took a while to find a place that actually had one, which is at the Starbucks across the way and you need a code. Other than having no bathroom this place was still just OK because the place wasn't very clean. Just wanted to share how I got treated at this store. It is totally understandable that in this hot humid weather and who doesn't wanna be attracted to icy fruits drink? Who doesn't like to drink something really good drink like what Jamba Juice has. I understand how stressful and overwhelmed for workers when customers come all at the same time and especially one customer orders not just one drink but for whole family or friends. Keep on making drink, but need to wash used mixer and need to take orders when just 2 workers were there. We all know that how busy it can be and all the customers had to wait at least 10 minutes to wait for their drinks. Everybody was so calm and be patient. Don't get me wrong, I'm not writing this just to complain about the wait. Im very patient and don't even like to write bad reviews just to get back to someone who I don't like. I just felt that this is something that I need to speak out for him to know that the disrespectful attitude he gave made me think that I'm not worth to this society. This is what happened after I was waiting for my drink for about 20 minutes. I had to go back to my car after I placed an order because I left my dog inside my car, and he kept barking and security sensor went off many times whenever he moved inside the car. I went back to the store to check see if my drink was already out. I didn't see anything on the countertop and I see 2 of them were making drink. I was looking around the store see if the customers who were in front of me were still waiting for their turn. However, I didn't see anyone that were in front me. But I wasn't sure and still have so many people were waiting for their drink so I was assuming my turn should be the next or even if not it should be soon. I was waiting, waiting and waiting and those customers that were called seems like they were all after me. But I still didn't ask them if my drink was already called cuz I didn't wanna bother them since they looked so busy and didn't have time to communicate with their customers. And I saw this lady went straight to the worker and gave them her name and asked see if her name was already called. One of the worker was checking the order list and she said they called her name awhile ago and nobody showed up so she said she kept her drink in the refrigerator. The workers even apologized to the lady for the long wait and the lady was smiling and said no worries you guys do the best job! I was still waiting til the last customer was called and picked up the drink. Finally I noticed that i was skipped and everybody else even whoever ordered after me was already gone. I finally asked one of the workers and she said "ok, let me check" and she went to check inside the refrigerator and she couldn't find any drink in there. She asked her co-worker see if he ever made a drink ordered under my name. He checked the order sheets and he said the drink should be inside the refrigerator. He went to check himself and he told his co worker that he swore he made the drink but now it's gone. Obviously he wasn't happy and he raised his voice said ok then I'll make one now. He started making drink and after he put the squeezed fruit drink inside the mixer to the cup and he was shouting the name of the drink. Not to mention, there was only me left inside the store and obviously it is mine not for anyone else. He didn't even say anything, but showing really abandoned and disrespectful attitude. He didn't even offer straws and he just put the drink on the counter with really loud nice and mumbling something. I couldn't really hear but sounds like he swore and the words were really racist and I couldn't even stay there. My heart was beating so hard with anger and fear. I am Asian and I never felt discriminated not even once on this beautiful island. I was just waiting for my drink in this humid/hot weather just like others. The reason why I chose here is because not only about the drink but more for the workers and customers relation. One thing that makes me go back to Jamba is because workers are always smiling, greed customers happily and I can always enjoy the drinks doesn't matter which jamba store, they always make the drink same flavors, tastes and looks. I was just so disappointed with his heartless behaviors and was offended and discriminated what he mumbled to me. I will never go back to this store and I'll let my family and friends who immigrated to Hawaii know how I was discriminated just because of my skin color and it is not something that is easy to forget. I felt that he putting not only me but my roots, ancestors and spirits of being Japanese. I hope that he won't do something to offend different races by his disrespectful behaviors and hope that people still can believe there's Aloha spirit on this island and be treated to equally and don't want any races to feel shame or scared to speak out because of where you're from. read more

If I could give this place 0 stars, I 100% would. I was wondering why this place had bad reviews and now I understand. This place had terrible customer service. The girl at the counter yelled at me for coming in even though I had been standing in line and had yelled at me to get in line. They also said there's a 5 person limit in the store and yelled at my family and I for it but then right after let in 4 people and pretty much said don't worry about the 5 person limit.
