I came for National Smoothie Day when Jamba was offering $1 small smoothies, but for only two flavors: Strawberry Whirl and Mango-A-Go-Go. And the $1 price would only be honored from 10 AM to 2 PM local time. This Jamba in Fullerton is located in Amerige Heights Town Center on the northeast corner of Malvern and Gilbert. I parked on the west side of the parking lot thinking that the entrance would have been on that side of the building, but it was actually on the other side facing the entry road towards the roundabout. I arrived just after 12:30 PM, and as soon as I entered, Hailey was there to greet me. She was pretty upbeat as if she were excited to celebrate National Smoothie Day herself! I told her I was intent on ordering a $1 small smoothie. Which flavor did I choose? I had checked the nutritional facts on Jamba's website before I left home and noticed that the Mango-A-Go-Go had over 60% more sugar than the Strawberry Whirl. Not wanting to go on a sugar rush this early in the longest day of the year, I went with the Strawberry Whirl. And man, the girls working at this location were whirling these smoothies like it was the last day of business. I was surprised that they were done with my Strawberry Whirl before I could even finish paying! I didn't think it was mine, but Hailey did mention it was and that they were cranking out orders very swiftly so as to keep up with the demand. I could have snatched the smoothie and left without paying, but obviously, I wouldn't want to commit such a heinous act for something that should be more than affordable. After paying, Hailey also gave me a BOGO 50% off any watermelon item coupon, which I honestly wasn't expecting, so that was quite cool. The coupon would work at any Jamba location and expires in a couple of months. The watermelon items include a Watermelon Breeze Smoothie, Watermelon Skies Smoothie, or Watermelon Sunshine Bowl. They only have two tables inside with one already being occupied and the other having no chairs. I just wanted to set my smoothie down for a minute so I could snap a few photos and also insert a straw into the smoothie. And wow, that smoothie was absolutely refreshing with a pretty good strawberry taste that tasted like the start of summer! I inhaled it so quickly that I was almost done with the smoothie by the time I left for my next destination. Only drawback was that the smoothie melted a little quicker than I thought, but since it was getting quite warm outside, I wouldn't ding them a star for that. As soon as I left Jamba, I noticed there was a handful of other customers who had followed me inside; the line was literally out the door when just a couple minutes ago, there was no line at all! I was so relieved that I came in right before that rush of customers trying to get their hands on an ice cold smoothie for a George Washington. I had a pretty stacked day afterwards, so I was really appreciative that they got me in and out in a jiffy. And did I mention how upbeat and bubbly Hailey was? One of the best Jamba employees I've encountered thus far! I didn't get any other names, but they were working together like a well-oiled machine on that Sunday. I doubt I'll return to this Jamba since there are a handful of other locations closer to me, but if I lived in Fullerton, I can see this being my go-to location. read more

Yesterday the female employee had a tone when answering questions and taking orders from me and other customers. Today, there was a different female employee who had AirPods in. She didn't get my order right. I heard the kiosk was robbed so they removed it? This branch needs employees retrained, focusing on customer service and not having devices in their ears so they can listen to get the order correct. Usually employees have been nice and bright. You'll need one after trying to navigate their touch screen ordering kiosk, as they eschew human interaction at the counter in favor of a customer-hostile experience, replete with the need to scroll repetitively through the menu as you hunt for the items you want, tapping/prodding/stabbing repeatedly at the unresponsive display. Large smoothie with a boost? 10-20 taps, minimum. Multiple items in your order? Make sure you ask for a w-2; you'll be there long enough to qualify for part-time employment. (Be sure to ask for the "I'm doing your job" customer discount, too!) Any establishment adopting this business model immediately earns the lowest possible rating, in this case, a 1-star. I can only hope that business owners turn away from this practice soon and return to treating their customers and their employees as human beings and not app inputs. +1 star for the smoothies, which were still tasty, despite the bile in my throat after the whole experience. read more

We walked in yesterday at 3-ish and were told to use the Kiosk by the worker with a bad attitude. While using the Kiosk another customer came in and the worker helped them. My wife asked the workers name, she said it was Karen. While the other employee was making our order Karen stopped him and asked him to work on something else. I asked why she helped the other customers but not us, she said she was working on a mobile order and if we wanted to wait it was our choice. She never gave me a choice. Worst experience ever.. The Mexican girl who was working on 4/21/2024, Sunday, from 4:20 PM to 4:45 PM needs to be replaced. When I entered, there was no greeting or acknowledgment, which I understand considering the busy atmosphere. However, after a 10-minute wait, she finally acknowledged me and took my order for an acai primo. I stepped outside to wait for my order, then returned to check its status. To my dismay, she was serving two customers who came in after me. After another 10 minutes of waiting, she informed me that they were out of ingredients to make my order. I received a refund, but this was by far my worst experience with Jamba Juice. As a loyal customer for the past six years, I have no intention of returning. I've been going to this jamba for years. I think for about 15+ years and it'd say I've never had an amazing experience. The service, smoothies, hot foods have all been average. However, on my last visit (a week ago) was probably the worst experience - not because of the service, decor, COVID protocols, but due to what we consumed. We ordered the Aloha pineapple and dam was I disappointed. The only thing I really tasted was the yogurt and could barely taste any fruits in the mix. It also lacked in sweetness (did not ask for not as sweet or anything like that) and flavor. In addition, we ordered one of their new breakfast sandwich items - classic handwich and wow the disappointment of the size. It's way smaller than the palm of your hand. Worst Jamba Juice by far. I always try to avoid writing bad reviews but I'm hoping management reads the reviews and can learn from feedback. I reluctantly order or come to this location. Morning shift is always in a bad mood or they seem understaffed. Also seems like they schedule staff to arrive right when the doors open. I usually let that pass, I get it. There's only kids working here and you can't expect 5 star service. I can always expect an issue when ordering thru the app. When I order, the app says it will be 10 mins for my order. I'll give it 15. Today I arrived and there was a couple people ahead of me ordering. When it's my turn I ask if my order if my order is ready. I wait another 15 mins. Still trying to be patient, I ask again. Seems they have not started my order. They finally recheck. They HAD started my order and set it to the side with no toppings. Okay I'm still trying to be patient, they throw a mush of bananas and strawberries sloppily on top and hand me my order. When I get to my now hot soupy bowl, I realize it had been sitting out for so long my bowl had become a drink. I actually needed a straw. My appetite by this point is gone. What a waste of time. What a waste of money. It's pretty obvious, the morning staff is always ill prepared for the day. If it's busy maybe they should disable app ordering. Hire workers that can handle being nice while servicing patrons in a hurry to get to work, or kids to school. First time visiting this store today. Most likely, also the last, which is a shame because it's on the way to my new job. Sticky floors, the smell of vomit or trash in the air, overly watered down smoothie, and burnt food. The staff was indifferent, which is fine, I'm not there for a conversation, but at least put some effort into cleaning instead of standing around. When you walk up to the store, you see social distancing stickers on the ground but there is no direction as to where the line starts. I ordered from this Jamba Juice because the others seem to be suffering from major supply chain shortages and either 1) didn't have the smoothie I wanted or 2) didn't have the breakfast sandwich I wanted. Luckily, this one had both! I ordered for delivery on a Sunday morning since I was not about to drive all the way over there. I got a large vanilla blue sky smoothie. It's blue from the spirulina and also has bananas and pineapple blended in with coconut milk. Loved it! It wasn't too sweet and one of the best smoothies I've ever had, whether from Jamba Juice or anywhere else. They're really stepping up their smoothie game from my memories. The fruits and creamy texture combined for a truly delicious experience that wasn't too sweet or tangy. I'm glad I got a large, and it kept me full for hours. The impossible breakfast sandwich I ordered though.... Just no. It was smaller than the palm of my hand and covered in oil. What a joke. I ended up eating it, but wow, I would never order this again. You can get a similar breakfast sandwich from Starbucks for the same price and that one is much heftier. So yeah, skip this for sure, it's not worth it. I was a little upset about the menu change, but I'm glad that today I was able to try their pb moo'd. The pb moo'd tasted like Reese's, but with banana added of course On the other hand, I went at this same location on Monday and had their matcha green tea blast. My last visit here was in 2015. Service super quick! Even when there are a lot of customers, the drinks come out pretty quickly. Only downfall is that the prices are expensive. Today we asked for a drink off their "secret" menu and the girl first gave us her attitude and said they didn't have a secret menu so my husband ordered something different but when I showed them the ingredients one of the girls said she could do it but the other girl (Ms Attitude) said it was way too many ingredients and she would charge extra. Can you please look into your online ordering process. This is now the second consecutive and by far the most frustrating experience with the online order process at this location. The first was last Sunday. I walked into a completely empty store and asked if my orderwas ready after the required p/u time, young lady at the counter said it was not ready but they'd been experiencing issues with the online orders. She quickly made my smoothie and I went on with my day, isolated incident, it happens. Now to today. Right after I picked up my Rubios online order, I walk down to Jamba - order is not ready, they have two girls in front of me ordering and two ppl outside waiting. After the girls get served I say I'm hear to p/u my online order PB Chocolate Love MED, not ready. I step aside a wait, and wait, and wait. Three more groups of ppl get helped and served before either the employees look towards me. Then their shift leader/manager starts helping out. The employees are having a rough day, I get it, they had to re-make the two girls order that were in there before me. Then I have to ask again if the have my online order ready, they never made it. An order that was suppose to be picked up at 1:30pm latest, I finally walked out of the Jamba Juice at 1:52pm. Besides the frustrating wait for a simple order, it's imperative in times like these limit in-store waiting which is why I online order everything to do my part to limit transmission. Can you please address this issue. I'm not asking for instant p/u the moment I walk in but getting passed over numerous times and waiting over 20mins for an online order that is suppose to eliminate this very thing, is not the experience I want a third time around, thank you. **Update** The business owner replied remorseful and thoughtfully. Friendliness and efficiency was great! The atmosphere is certainly inviting, with outside seating next to Starbucks. No wifi at Jamba Juice, but Starbucks offers their Google-partnered wifi, so it's just fine. This is a quiet and really quaint little shopping center, just off of West Malvern Ave, with Barnes n' Noble the welcoming host as soon as you turn in :) If you want a place to go, to get some work done on your computer, or break for lunch, this is a wonderful nook for that. read more
